Why does this trophy break my wii emulator so hard?

Hi all! I've been working on a wii emulator for 4 years now, and ran into some funny graphical issues / bugs on the way. Here's a fun story about one such bug that reveals a very clever rendering trick I saw in Mario Kart Wii!

Tockdom (Custom Mario Kart Wiki) is shutting down after 15 years

After 15 years of running the biggest website for Mario Kart Wii skins, custom tracks, mods, packs, etc. Will be shutting down on June 30th 2026. All contents of the website will be archived and moved over to a new custom Mario Kart Wiki on July 1st 2026. It is definitely sad to see the biggest website for fan made content in Mario Kart Wii shut down after all this time and thats why I have dedicated a post to say thank you for everything you have done for this community throughout the years. Despite the controversy with ai, Tockdom has done way more good then bad for the community and has allowed thousands of people to get introduced to modding Mario Kart Wii. Feel free in the comments to share your experiences with Tockdom throughout the years aswell.

Confused

All of the sudden now after I turn my Nintendo off when I turn it back on I get an error message and I have to run the Patcher again I'm having to do this every day this just started. Does anybody know why or any way around it that I don't have to run the Patcher every time I turn my Nintendo back on any help is appreciated thank you so much you all have a great day happy racing!

GBA Lakeside Park Highlights

I must say, using inside-drift on a kart (Wild Wing) is so beneficial, because you can charge up mini-turbos quickly (and how long the ultra mini-turbo lasts). I have gotten 1st place on most races because of it. You just gotta practice.
