Clay leaving June 7

Just saw on Clay’s instagram that his last show is June 7. Sad for everyone who is losing their fave, and I know it’s a lot of you! 🤍 He does say he’s leaving “for now”, so maybe he will come back on a new contract.

Silver ombre looks purplish -- will it pass?

I saw this dress picture and loved it! Now that it's arrived, I can see that the ombre of the silver skirt looks more purple than the deep grey I was imagining. The second picture shows it better. What do you think, would it pass without a cloak (though I have a black cloak, I don't want to have to wear it in hot weather)?

Is Masquerade worth a dedicated trip to NYC?

Without giving spoilers, can anyone recommend whether this experience is worth a dedicated trip to NYC in their opinion?

I'm from the West Coast and I've never been to NYC. I'm graduating soon and thinking about asking to see this for a graduation present. HOWEVER, it seems pretty expensive and crazy to fly across the country for ONE SHOW. As a huge Phantom fan, I'm afraid that I'll regret not seeing this for the rest of my life if I miss out. But yeah, it's a lot of money and the economy is not... great lately. So I'm not sure it's worth it... Of course, it's up to personal taste, but would building a nyc trip around this show be something any of you would do if you lived as far away as the west coast?

Thank you for your time and consideration in replying!

Accessories

Are these accessories allowed? I’m wearing a black dress and black flats and really want to incorporate the red rose into my accessories if possible. First two pics are earrings and a necklace, and the 3rd picture I was going to use for my updo. Thanks in advance! ❤️

Complimentary logo mask?

Hi! I’ll be attending an upcoming pulse on Saturday May 23rd. I wanted to check that they still offer the complimentary masks with the phantom logo on it, if you don’t bring your own. Thanks!

Is the mask they provide glasses friendly?

I just realized I don't have a mask, and I've recently started wearing glasses for distance vision. Would I be able to use the provided mask? Or do I need to find one specifically for glasses?

Listen, I NEED this vinyl

It’s a yearning that only a carded box5er would understand. I must have a copy. Unfortunately my personal attendance is a bridge too far. However, should a kind person intending to experience the grand ball be so kind as to procure one on my behalf, I’m sure their time and effort would be well compensated. Dm me if you would be interested in helping out a real one. 🖤🤍❤️

Updated Subreddit Rule: Recruitment of Merchandise Purchasing Agent

Hi all! Given the increase in Masquerade Merchandise variety and recent in-demand posts about it, the mods have decided to enforce a new rule to allow posts regarding fair exchanges of Masquerade licensed merch for those who cannot purchase them in person. The added rule can be found in the Rules section of the subreddit as well as written for your convenience below. If there are any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to comment or reach out! Thank you! -The Masquerade NYC Subreddit Mod Team (not affiliated with the Masquerade NYC Production)

Posts regarding getting access to Masquerade merchandise are permitted with the following understandings: 1. The subreddit and moderators are
NOT responsible for any exchange or transaction made between individuals. 2. Purchasing agents are not profiting from the exchange. Meaning, the offer does not exceed the amount of the cost of the piece of merchandise and shipping services. Posts that aim to re-sell to make a profit or price-gouging items will not be allowed on this subreddit.
This rule applies to posts and comments.

Hoping Someone Might Spare Their Phantom Masquerade Letter

This might be a long shot, but I wanted to ask anyway. I recently attended Masquerade - Phantom of the Opera and it genuinely became one of the most memorable theatre experiences I’ve ever had. I stretched way beyond my budget to attend it, and the entire night meant a lot to me personally.

During the show, some audience members received letters as part of the experience. (I didn’t one get unfortunately). I tried reaching out to the production managers afterward to see if there was any way to get one as a keepsake, but unfortunately they couldn’t help.

So I thought I’d ask here, if anyone has one of the letters handed out during the show and doesn’t mind parting with it, I would truly treasure it as a souvenir. I live near Times Square and would be happy to pick it up anywhere in Manhattan.

Would really appreciate it. Thank you ❤️🥹🙏🏽

Is this dress fine?

People who have been, does this dress match the vibe? I’m going next weekend and I want to be sure that I’m following all of the rules. Thanks in advance!

Too much color?

I absolutely adore this dress and I might get it just because its so pretty, but do we think it is too much color for Masquerade? I know its long and I am prepared to deal with that, but I'd like some advice on the color parts of the dress.

After the Curtain- Broadway in Jazz Post Show Event on May 17th at 9:30 PM

This popped up as an instagram advertisement for me and I thought it was relevant to the sub for anyone who wanted to go or had tickets to that day and wanted the add-on. Ticket link is the pinned comment.

“After the Curtain- Broadway in Jazz, presented by Concerts Under the Stars and Masquerade. World-class musicians who move effortlessly between the jazz world and the Broadway stage, take on the greatest songs in musical theatre history. From Golden Age standards to today's Broadway anthems. This is a 21+ experience. “

Has anyone heard rumblings about Clay leaving?

I have tickets in July to see him again for the 2pm slot. I feel like there’s been a bit of turnover the past few weeks, but I haven’t heard anything about him yet right?….RIGHT??? 😂
