Been struggling forever to beat Andromeda. Beat the original trilogy multiple times but Andromeda never clicked. Started this file years ago (literally) but have finally locked in the past few weeks and I'm well on my way now (about 75% completion rating).

Things I wish I'd know I just found out today online: 1) I can make up to four "favorites" builds and switch on the fly. 2) melee weapons are also good stat sticks, I'm a power user all the way and never bothered to make one.

I've been face rolling everyone and everything HARD, so it hasn't truly been necessary, but being able to flip between a solid shield build, armor build, and mini biotic build would liven up my current "energy drain prime, incenerate denotate with prime, throw nuclear build.

Only question I don't have a 100% answer is how hard are the diminishing returns on stats? Currently have Tech damage armor (angaran), with 100% combo damage boost augments. Should I do like a 60% combo damage, 40% combo radius for better optimization?

I am new to Andromeda but if I keep getting these crazy long load times, I may not ever finish. It literally took almost 5-10 minutes to load into the main menu and then when I hit “Resume” it took another 5 minutes to load the save. Is this normal? My game is running on an M.2 NVME SSD with no mods. It did the same thing when I loaded it for the first time, but I figured maybe it just took that long for the first time. I haven’t had a game take that long to load since 64bit processors were a new thing we still used IDE cables for mechanical hard drives, and 2gb of ram was a LOT. Am I missing something?

I am playing on Insanity, so I get it's supposed to be tough, but the fight is in a Level 2 Cold environment, and even with Back Up Life Support, I am usually out of life support within a few seconds. Is there some warmth somewhere I'm not seeing?

I try to go out to missions with different pairs to hear their banter and I like some more than others.
Asari in general was the most interesting race throughout the series, She is nothing like Liara but Peebee happens to be my favorite. In my first playthrough I romanced her.

Who is your favorite companion and pair?

I just gave those messages another listen to in my 2nd playthru. Very emotional stuff. I started tearing up a bit during that listening. Just the thought of Scott/Sara hearing those messages for the 1st time, and feeling panic and grief at whatever the hell happened in 600 years ago in the Milky Way. We know what happened having played the original series, but I dunno, anyone else get choked up listening to those SOS messages?

I got movie night this time thru and was less stingy about every mining area. I was far less completionist this round and once again cried like a baby in the credits xD

Steam is endlessly "validating" my files, even after a clean uninstall/reinstall of the game. Help.

EDIT: figured it out! Like many things, it was the fucking EA app causing issues. Really need to work around it one of these days.

Suvi is by far my favorite but I met several other red-haired Scottish NPCs in game.

Many games have NPCs with British accent and I find them fun, but this is the first one I noticed Scottish accent represented and I love it.

I can't remember, was this ever the case in ME series?
