Maybe those drinks were too strong
I had a good time at the bar while watching this new cocktail test
Romanced Cora as FemRyder- Really Like Their Dynamic!
I understand why some games have character romances locked behind specific player genders, but I always prefer when a game makes its characters player-sexual, because it adds more variety in the way that you can play. Cora is a good example of this, because I think her romance is great, but I only play FemRyder really, so it's a shame to have to use a mod for this pairing.
A New Home, A New Life
Welcome to the Andromeda Initiative! Many folk make this epic jump to another galaxy in the hopes of a new beginning. As long as you meet the requirements, your skill set and personality will be embraced in a new home. For many of us gazing at the stars and reimagining our tales, I am curious: which kind of job would you like to do if you had the opportunity? Which kind of skills would you bring to the table?
Would you be part of the Pathfinder team? Could you be assisting scientific research on a new frontier? Would you lend a hand in militaristic defense? How about working on improving diplomatic systems in anticipation of welcoming new species and forming a functional government? Or you could lend your financial experience to a new galactic economy? Perhaps you would be talented in entertainment, news coverage, fixing meals, serving alcohol, education, or tending to the medical needs of civilians. There is sure to be a position suited just for you! Feel free to describe what you excel at and what you may be interested in doing in Andromeda.
For me, personally, I would be more of a jack-of-all-trades. I like the idea of mixing it up with my skill set. The way I see it, in a new neighborhood, anything goes: adaptability is the key. Plus, it helps to serve more psychological needs when I have a fair idea of what civilians may encounter. This may even aid my sense of diplomacy, whether with an enemy or a friend. But you may have your own motivation and theme within the Initiative: I'd love to hear your perspective.
Jaal's Continued HATRED of Kadara (I love him)
Did they...accidentally give Jaal Drack's response line?
Can Mass Effect Andromeda run on my Laptop?
Hello everyone
I saw Andromeda on sale on Steam for $7.99, and I've considered buying it. I've played The Old Republic on High settings with no difficulty whatsoever. I came here to see if my specs can handle Andromeda. Here are my specs:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS with Radeon Graphics (3.30 GHz)
Installed RAM: 16 GB
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon(TM) RX 6550M (4 GB) with multiple GPUs installed
Does the Electrical Conduit augmentation on armor prime the enemies?
The EC augmentation is said to stun melee attackers with electrical damage, when used on an armor chest piece. However, I was wondering whether it also primes the enemies for them to be combo detonated?
I'm on my second completionist run and experimenting with Fusion Mods, Augmentations and Weapon Mods for a comprehensively different game experience this time!
I thought that my first playthrough was over.
I thought that I was finished because there were no obvious things that I hadn’t accomplished. No outstanding missions in the Journal, no blips on any of the maps. I didn’t check against the wiki, but I was at 99% completion and had seen online that a lot of people were bugged at 99% after doing everything, so I thought that I was done and was mulling over starting a New Game+.
However, a couple of days ago, I saw someone post about their first encounter with an Architect which took place on Voeld. Mine had taken place on Eos, and I wanted to reply that those last two fights were easier even with the cold hazard on Voeld because I had died so many times on Eos, so I looked up the Architect to get the planet names right.
I realized that I had missed one! The fight on Kadara! And what’s more, I was already in orbit around Kadara when I loaded my save! So I landed, spoke to Christmas Tate (who I apparently missed speaking to when I established the outpost), got the mission, and had some fun kicking another Architect into orbit, even choosing to finish it off with pistol fire!
Afterward, I wandered around Kadara for a while, fighting outlaws and scavengers which I kinda avoided doing during my campaign because I was focused on dropping forward stations and clearing mission blips, and I found two more fetch quests! “Cold Hard Cache” and “Kadara’s Ransom”.
That was it. That boss and two missions leveled me up two more times and took me up to 100% game completion after a grand total of 122 hours and some minutes. For a first playthrough I wanted to be thorough, but simple. Pure Soldier except for the Remnant VI, and mostly using the Piranha shotgun with incendiary ammo. I don’t know how I’ll play the New Game+ yet, but I’m glad to have found this game, and I’m eager to play it again and again.
Quarians?
Hi all! I’ve posted on here once before about how amazing this game is, and I’ve nearly got to the end (sadly! I don’t want to leave this universe! 😭).
I have one question that maybe I missed from dialogue options or a missed data pad, but does anyone know why the Quarians didn’t travel to Andromeda? I would have thought it would have fit their narrative. Find a new home, away from Geth, or to try and find somewhere they can take off their envirosuits?
If anyone knows, I’m super interested to find out why!
Also, still in awe of this game and how amazing it is! I feel so connected to the characters even more than my last post in here!
What is the best graphics mod?
Hello,
Iam looking forward to replay this game and i wonder if there is good graphics mod to begin with?
Fog of war on map is cleared despite starting new game?
So when I was going to do a replay, I decided that having the fog of war would be useful because I'd know where I still need to explore. That was enough for me to eschew the benefits of a new game plus.
But when I got to Eos on this new game, the map is filled in. I compared it to my previous new game plus playthrough and they look the same.
So now the only reason I didn't do a new game plus just doesn't exist for some reason, and I'm way too far into it to justify redoing 10 hours of content I've already played. It is more than a little frustrating. This entire playthrough will essentially be a wash, progression-wise.
Has this happened to anyone else? I haven't gotten to other planets yet, so I'm hoping maybe the issue is confined to Eos.
