I deposited £10 into my Smarkets account, placed a lay bet of £9.42, which I won. Now I have £19.41 in my balance. How does that work?
Still new to this and there’s various amounts that I don’t understand the meaning of.
E.g it says that I staked £6.78 but I thought I staked £9.42.
Hey, everyone, doing matched betting and want to start moving onto utilising the 2Up offers.
I've tried 2ups a few times just to test the waters with £10-£20 bets, but only won one of those bets and made a tiny profit of something like 58p.

Just starting out with matched betting. I signed up to virgin bet for their bet £10 get £30 free bets.
Placed a £10 bet on Brentford , and a lay bet using smarkets.
But now I’ve gone back and noticed that virgin bet applied a 2up promotion to my bet. Will this exclude me from getting the welcome offer now?
I have a few BBs to use.
For 2 legs, Team X win and under 1.5 goals would lay as 1-0, right?
What would be the easiest 3 or 4 legs to lay as though.
Some bookies won’t allow the combination of X to win 0.5 goals and BTTS NO for a 1-0 lay.

I’ve recently come back into matched betting after a few years break from it.
I’ve still got a few sign ups available to me and have seen bet builders as part of the new betting, when I was doing this I don’t recall these as offers only accas and single bets, maybe the odd refund.
My question is, how do you all manage to make a profit out of these bet builders?
I’ve been looking at outplayeds bet-builder-helper to help me figure out the best back and lays, but keep hitting my head at a couple of bookies where they tell me “the odds haven’t changes” when I go from 2 stakes to 3, meaning I’m missing out on the criteria.
Mainly happening at Bet365 and Betfred but is there a way around this? What are your go to bet builders that work at all the bookies? I feel like I’m leaving money on the table with how many bet builder offers or boosts there are.
Personally I find myself using Betfred and LiveScore bet quite frequently recently for their price boost/ and bet and get offers as they seem to have them almost everyday
