Kind medical CBD 200mg oil tastes terrible
Just got this one prescribed as an alternative from aura therapeutics 200mg cbd oil. The kind oil tastes absolutely vile.. I’ve never had such an adverse taste reaction to any other cannabis oil. Is this normal? It’s extremely bitter

Highlake 23% 3%CBG GELATO
Just cracked this.
Buds are light chunky and dense all quite decent size - 8/10
Super nice green fluffy light when chopped 9/10
A little fruity and not to much smell. Not to much taste but it’s smooth. 7.5/10
Effects are euphoric and relaxing. This is my day time hybrid strain so it’s good to keep me going through the day and eases my pain without feeling to much of a couch lock. 7.5/ 10
This is my first product review so I apologise if it’s not a great review.

Hopefully a good sign after the past few weeks of doom and gloom reporting. We will have to wait until after next weekend to find out more.

TGA officials to join cannabis prescribers for annual ANZCCP conference
by Steve Jones
May 22, 2026
Officials from the Therapeutic Goods Administration will join prescribers in Noosa next week for the third annual conference hosted by the Australian and New Zealand College of Cannabinoid Practitioners.
Office of Drug Control assistant secretary Avi Rebera and assistant director of the TGA’s medicinal cannabis regulatory reforms section, Deborah Greenbaum, will both attend the event which opens at Elysium Noosa Resort on May 29.
Elysium Noosa Resort will host the third annual ANZCCP conference which starts next Friday
Under the theme ‘precision, compassion, evolution – the next chapter in cannabinoid medicine’, the conference will feature three days of debate and discussion and explore latest research and practical insights for clinical practice.
Rebera and Greenbaum will provide health practitioners with an update on the special access and authorised prescriber schemes and the TGA’s regulatory review.
The gathering comes at a critical time for the industry which is facing the threat of regulatory reform, external scrutiny and falling prices.
ANZCCP vice president Dr Orit Holtzman said practitioners are under increasing pressure to show medicinal cannabis has a genuine role to play in healthcare.
“On both sides, clinicians are navigating prescribing standards, affordability barriers, and the pressure to demonstrate that this field deserves its place in legitimate healthcare,” she said.
“This is exactly why the ANZCCP conference exists. It brings together clinicians and researchers from across Australia and New Zealand doing this work at the coalface. If you’re a practitioner serious about raising the standard of care in this space, this is where you need to be.”
Along with previously announced speakers – including New Zealand-based acute care clinician and ANZCCP board member Dr Michael Murphy, Israeli researcher professor Dedi Meiri and palliative and supportive care specialist associate professor Judith Lacey – the event will welcome Medical Cannabis Australia clinical educator Luiza Guizan who will unravel the complexities of the national and state regulations, while Mandi Jacobson from law firm Thomson Geer will discuss the art of advertising without incurring the wrath of the regulator.
Other speakers include Dr Shiksha Gallow from South Africa who will address the conference about compassion in clinical cannabinoid practice, and Roei Zerahia from MSICS Pharma, also in Israel, who will present the latest psilocybin research.
Dr Jim Connell, nurse practitioner Lisa Dick, Dr David Gunn, assistance professor Daryl Efron, Dr Jeremy Lim and Dr Priya Ayyar will also address the conference.

Heavy hitting sedating indicas
Hey guys, have an upcoming appt to renew my scripts and looking for some strong indicas with a couch lock element- I have an extremely high tolerance, to the point even after a good tea break- I am back to baseline within 3 or so days. Have gained such a tolerance to my current 30%’s that it doesn’t feel like I am getting much effect.
Also intrigued to find new edibles to switch up from phytoca 30:30:30

Post removed: Finding a new daily driver
Since my daily driver "HeyDay Night Gelato" turned to absolute shit, my doctor gave me a few new options to try today to find a replacement to stick with. I am no way shape or form a strain hunter, I don't actually like having more than 2 strains in my rotation because I'm a sensitive little bitch. Treating chronic spinal/sciatica nerve pain, major depressive disorder/anxiety and sleep.
So far the "Avani Pineapple Express" looks like absolute shit, basically all stems. The "Alfie Moonwalker" smells great but for a "new release" looks pretty old and dead. Price on the sol was up there, can afford that going forward. Haven't opened the others, hoping someone has tried them.
Alfie Moonwalker 10g/$129
- Aroma: 8/10
- Quality: 7/10 very dense nugs, with quite a few mini nugs. No excessive stems is a +
- Flavour: 2/10 Very dry without much flavour at all.
- Effects: 7/10 not EXACTLY what I was looking for but pretty damn close. Very indica dominant that shouldn't set off anxiety. Enough for relief but won't get the job done alone. Great for daytime for users like me that don't do well with sativa. Would recommend but price isn't sustainable for most.
Avani Pineapple Express 10g/$110
- Aroma: 0/10 none
- Quality: 1/10 some of the worst I've seen in a while. More stem than flower and VERY bone dry
- Flavour: 0/10 tastes like dirt and stem
- Effects: 4/10 might be good some, but it was abit to heady for me even at such low %. Not anxiety inducing but it's definitely more uplifting than what I prefer. Wouldn't recommend due to quality alone.
If anyone's had experience with any of these, how did they go? I get anxiety trying new strains, not knowing what to expect. Especially when the thc% gets higher. I prefer low THC hence the Alfie and Avani.
SB 40:40:40 review
Been on the Stanley Brothers 40:40:40 Apple Pastilles recently, the flavour is actually decent for an edible. Texture was soft and easy to dose consistently too.
Effects feel very balanced compared to straight THC/CBD edibles. Physical tension reduced and my mind felt quieter without feeling fucked. Pretty good day time gummy !
The CBG addition is interesting, feels a bit more uplifting and functional than normal THC/CBD gummies. But you can still unwind on them at night.
Overall a really balanced gummy and not a bad option if you want something calming without feeling mentally scrambled.
10/10 for the price: $159/60
This was my first time hunting for CBG and I was surprised at the difference it makes. Does CBC also have noticeably different effects at high doses?
SPIRIT BEAR FROSTED GUAVA 🥶🥶🥶
After really enjoying the strawberry meltshake I thought I’d give the most recent batch of frosted guava a go and I am really happy that I have ! Batch number is 90521 expiring 6th May 2027. Before I begin my review this strain is perfect for treating anxiety and chronic pain.
Firstly, as I’ve opened the lid the seal came off clean with it so I don’t think it was stuck on properly to begin with. Not sure if that played a reason in why I didn’t get a really strong smell but the budz are still really fresh.
Sticking my nose in the jar and breaking apart the budz I am getting hints of guava mixed with some fuel it is very different to the many medicinal cannabis strains I have come across.
From what I’ve seen on previous posts the budz in frosted guava seemed a lot more lime green, this new batch I have seems to be a bit darker however it is still caked in trichomes and extremely frosty and glittery on the inside. The budz are pretty solid to the point where my old mate grinder was even struggling to turn on the first couple spins.
The exhale is super smooth and feels super clean, no tickle on the throat and thick clouds of vapour. The flavour I experienced is very similar to the aromas I described although the aftertaste was a little sweet and sour, not crazy terpy but not faint either.
This is by far the biggest creeper strain I have come across, first few bowls are really mellow and relaxing, nothing over the top but also not really weak and it also makes me feel really alert and focused. A few hours after consuming however many bowls I have the effects seem to flick a switch and just come crashing down on me, really heavy eyes and really giggly.
The price of flower never effects me because I never go by the price, yeah there’s been a lot of budget strains dropping but there’s only been a few that are a real stand out and could of passed as a higher end priced strain before all these budget ones were available. I am really enjoying the Frosted Guava and would happily purchase it again, I paid $170 for a 10g glass jar.
Chemovar - Daily Grape
Prescribed for insomnia, anxiety, chronic stress, low mood and appetite support.
I’ve been trialling Daily Grape primarily in the evenings for management of anxiety symptoms, stress after work and difficulty winding down before sleep.
The flower presented with good trichome coverage, a sticky cure and noticeably better moisture retention than a lot of other medical flower I’ve received recently.
Aroma and flavour profile for me was grape-forward with sour confectionary notes and a creamy backend. flavour remained consistent and lingered on the palate after exhale.
Therapeutically, I found this cultivar beneficial for:
• Reducing anxiety and mental tension
• Helping slow racing thoughts in the evening
• Stress reduction and mood improvement after work
• Appetite stimulation
• Assisting with sleep onset at higher doses
• General physical and mental relaxation without immediate heavy sedation
For me this worked best as an afternoon/evening medication rather than daytime use, particularly due to the relaxing effects becoming stronger with higher dosing.
Overall I found this cultivar effective for my prescribed conditions, particularly anxiety, stress management and insomnia symptoms.
Phytoca Indica 30:30:30 came unsealed
Hey all, has anyone else had their pastilles come with the seal already broken off? The lid was on properly but as I unscrewed the lid the seal came off with it. Is there anything to worry about? This is the first time it's happened to me so I don't know whether I should request a refund and get them to send another tub. The pastilles themselves feel a bit dry. There's still 60 of them left so none are missing
Any home tests to see if THC is present in CBD isolate oil
Recently ordered some pure CBD isolate to try for various health issues.
Is there some sort of home kit at the shops that i could use to test and to see if there is any trace amount of THC in the Product. Product is suppose to be 0%. i just want to verify this.
Would a saliva kit from chemist warehouse suffice?
Or is there a cheap kit that i could send a drop of oil away to get analyzed somewhere?
my provider is defunct
line disconnected and abn has been cancelled. I need a reliable provider ASAP. suggestions please.
I’m also now unable to get a discharge letter from my previous prescriber but I have invoices if that counts for anything?
Best pharmacy for edibles?
I have an e-script already. I'm looking for edibles, like gummies or something. I'd like some options. What's a good pharmacy that ships Australia wide?
Saw this floating around and figured I’d share because petrol prices are crazy right now and free money is free money 😂
ING are currently offering anyone who signs up before May 31st a $100 bonus. No catches other than doing a few easy things once your account’s open. Here’s the breakdown:
- Use the following link to sign up - Link here
- Deposit $1000 (you can transfer out once you receive your $100 bonus)
- Make 5 purchases - Just use the card you get sent on your weekly shopping (split the transaction into 5 payments at checkout)
- Open a savings maximiser account and deposit $1 into it (you can do this straight away once you sign up they walk you through everything)
Then you just sit back and wait for ING to drop that $100 straight into your account. You can transfer it to your main bank, or spend it with the ING card, up to you.
Took me less than 10 minutes to do everything and it’s one of the easiest bonuses I’ve seen. Longest part is waiting for the card to arrive but once you have it you can just use it with your regular shopping for 1 week.
Frosted Flakes alternates...
Frosted Flakes is out of stock and my pharmacy can substitute but I'm not sure what to get. I'm treating PTSD and pain. Has anyone subbed in something 30% that they're happy with?
