I had a lower back pain for some time and couple days ago i held a sneeze in and right away my pain in my lower back got worst. I cant sit down without pain, i can’t stand up straight. Need some recommendations!

I am looking for a church in Merced and since Facebook groups don't allow for this sort of question, I thought Reddit might be the next best thing(knowing that I'm opening the door to some crazy criticism even for asking)

Christian Nationalism makes me gag, and I would like to find a place with good worship and a boots-on-the-ground mentality for actually serving and helping people, not just in other countries, but right here... in Merced. It's not just about the word of God, it's about living it out in real time and working to be more like Jesus every day.

So. I'm picky as heck. Where do you like? Where do you not? Where should I try? Where should I avoid?

No skirt-pushing pentacostal churches, no all consuming church cults, no Mormons. Any thoughts are appreciated. 😬

Hey everyone! I’ve recently gotten interested in collecting political campaign buttons and was wondering if anyone knows of good places to look around the Fresno or Merced area.

I’m open to anything! Antique stores, flea markets, thrift stores, estate sales, local collectible shops, or even random places you’ve stumbled across them. I’d love to find both older vintage buttons and newer campaign ones.

I’m going to be in town for the weekend and looking for someone who can cut long women’s hair, and WON’T give me beachy waves. Think butterfly cut, flippy layers, bangs, alternative but trendy. I‘m not attached to my hair, so honestly a young beginner stylist is preferred.

If you own a business on Yelp, Google, or Bing (apparently?) please read this. I just got a call from +13253260067 (Texas) and asked if I owned my business. I said yeah, he said he was going to verify my Yelp, Google, and Bing. I don't have Bing. Do not fall for the scam. I'm not sure what comes after, but there were too many red flags. When I kept dodging him, he eventually hung up. The number showed up as "Telemarketer" on the incoming call.

Everyone standing there holding up signs seems too uniform. I was wondering if there were other ways to protest? These could be implemented into local protests, and they would stand out.
