I feel like her gliding was HEAVILY nerfed. Everytime I fly to someone I immediately go back to the ground and its really annoying. I feel like i cant survive now due it, but idk if its a bug or what. I swear she didnt feel like this last month

Hi everyone!

I've been plaving OW since OW1, always on console. Mercy has been one of my mains, and l’ve gotten her movement to a point where it felt almost perfect.
About two weeks ago, I switched to PC, and I just can't get the hang of her anymore. I literally can't do anything.
Flying feels like I'm a sack of potatoes trying to hop around, I can barely cancel Guardian Angel properly, and every keybind l've tried just feels
At first I had the abilities on my mouse buttons (Mouse 4 and Mouse 5), but that was a complete disaster. Then I switched to Shift and Spacebar, which is definitely better, but it still doesn't feel right.

Unfortunately, I don't remember what settings I used on console. l've already tweaked a few things on PC, but the keybinds are really throwing me off. I feel so bad on my favorite hero now.
How do you have your Mercy keybinds set up? Are there any settings or keybinds you'd recommend changing?

For those viewing this post, hello! To make things brief, I've been trying to learn how to sling rez on pc but I can't seem to get the hang of it. I usually manage to successfully sling rez every few tries.. however, I'm very inconsistent overall. When pressing jump and rez at the same time, I often just stay in place. I've tried to feel for the sling rez and use visual indicators but neither seem to help me very much. I would love any tips/advice anyone has on how to sling rez! Thank you for your time, I appreciate you all!

A few questions I had as well for those who may know the answer:

1. Did the removal of divine momentum affect sling rezing?
2. Is sling rezing easier/only for further distances? When doing mercy rez parkour, I've noticed I struggle the most when the sling rez is too close.

Edit: through practicing I started gettin it down a bit more but Im defo still inconsistent lmao

Hiiii, so I play a ton of quick play, but I've been wanting to start getting into comp, but so far it's been a really demoralizing experience and it's getting hard to keep playing. This week I've been on a loss streak and went from almost plat 3 to almost gold 4. I feel like I'm a pretty good mercy player but game after game.. loss after loss. A few months ago I even tried to get a duo, went on the owlfg discord. Same thing happens, duo with tank dps can't kill anything, duo with dps, tank is suicidal. Is mercy just not able to carry enough no matter how good you are at her to actually rank up out of gold, or am I actually that terrible? I know some people like to blame the matchmaker but that doesn't make sense to me.

WS1VJX - Gibraltar. Do really well on the first round, think we're gonna win pretty easy. At the start of the second round I totally messed up and let our doomfist die(I was razzing our widow and didn't expect him to jump quite so quickly.) I appologized over mic and tried to lock in after that

A2Z6NB - Circuit Royal. Pretty much got rolled on the first round. Second round, everyone was yelling at the Anran, so she switched to Vendetta. I tried to encourage them so I tried to pocket them cause I figured Ven is so easy if I keep em alive, they'll get kills. And they did, for about 30 seconds until the tank started crying for heals and I went back to prioritizing them. Everything pretty much fell apart in the last minute or so...

I know I definitely make a few boneheaded mistakes or bad rezes every now and then but it feels like I have to be absolutely perfect and never let anyone slip even slightly.

So how is everyone faring with this new patch currently? Especially Sombra mains and people who begged for hack to be added to Virus. I haven't played but I've seen a lot of hate for it and wanted to see how y'all felt about it. Also BRING BACK OG BASTION ULT

Edit what changes would you like to see in base kit.

ive been playing mercy since the beginning but she isnt viable for a lot of team comps anymore. im wanting to teach myself a different support but im not sure who as i cannot aim worth nothing which is why ive been a mercy otp all my years of playing ow. who would yall recommend me learn? also do give me tips for whomever yall recommend me learn :) also i play on xbox if that is relevant.

edit: aiming with an Xbox controller is hard for me to learn should i invest in mnk for my xbox?
