If the Marlins are going to make a playoffs run this year, they can't afford to have Pete Fairbanks as their ride or die primary closer. They are going to have to make a Braden Looper/Ugueth Urbina type of substitution.

FISH ON FIRE 🔥🐬

Hey there, Marlins fan here from Montreal, Canada. I've been a Marlins fan for about 5 years now and although they made the playoffs in 2023, this team has been far more exciting and competitive. The question is; does anyone feel like they've been flying under the radar still and does anyone think they can be a serious threat in the postseason?

Stop the non-sense

Just saw an article talking about asking the question, "will Sandy be on the move after his 8 inning gem?"

No. The answer is no. Sandy is not leaving Miami. Especially in the position we're in. No. He's our ace. Max is having a great year and I love him. I take nothing away from him but he is not our ace.

Sandy is not leaving the Marlins this year and I hope he never leaves. He has proven his consistency and his love for this ball club.

Facing the LHP Gage Jump we've got a righty heavy lineup.

Sandy's 8-inning gem begs the question ... could he be on the move at the Deadline?

Seems unlikely Sandy will be moved. But ya never know. Maybe Sherman keeps him around long term to mentor the young fellas. Despite his struggles he would be incredibly difficult to replace. Bulls like him don’t grow on trees.

If we were in the AL we would have 20 more wins 🗣️

The AL is playing like absolute garbage outside of a few teams. We are going to have to hold our breath for a playoff spot in the NL. Just a thought.

Marse hitting question? Is it just EV?

He is hitting the ball in the air to the pull side 22% of the time. This is really good. He is seeing the ball really well, see his k - BB rate. The only thing that I can think of that is keeping him from being a league average bat is that he is hitting the ball too soft, just a bat speed thing, or a decision thing?

I can only watch so many games, so I was hoping someone who watches more can confirm this. On paper, which should predict success, he looks fine. I don't get it.
