Maybe unpopular opinion, but the worst part of Microsoft Rewards lately is not the nerfs themselves so much as the lack of transparency when things change.

I'm a pretty normal user: suburban 9 to 5, I do searches while I have coffee, finish the daily set, and redeem points on cozy puzzle games when they go on sale. I'm not trying to treat this like a second job, but I don't want to feel like I'm playing by hidden rules.

Every time there's an update it turns into a guessing game: is PC search 90 or 60 now? Did this quest move? Why did my total stop increasing? Half the answers depend on your region or whether you're part of some UI test rollout. Even if the changes are just messy product updates, it leaves the program feeling sketchy.

They should add a simple cap meter and breakdown inside the Rewards hub for searches, activities, Xbox, Game Pass, etc. Show the daily and weekly maximums for my account and region, and show how much I've already earned in each bucket. If a limit changes, include a short changelog.

That would cut down on repetitive posts, reduce support headaches, and make the whole thing feel more legit. Right now you only find out about a change after you waste time refreshing and troubleshooting.

Anyone else think a little transparency would calm 90 percent of the drama?

So i have a little question. Yesterday it was past Midnight, so normally this is when the 3 dailies reset. I was like "oh whatever, ill do them right away since im up" but the thing is the searches and "other rewards stuff" reset around 3 or 4 (it varies because of our clock change in Quebec base on Winter or Summer). Anyway so i noticed after clicking 2 that the middle thing was not updating like usual, despite giving me the green checkmark so i stopped after 2.

This morning as i woke up i did the remaining one and they all appear greencheckmarked but only 1/3 on the "ensemble du jour" part. Im sorry its in french, i wish i could change it in english but never knew how... lol. I guess because originally i did my account in french.

It would kinda suck losing my 2000+ days streak on a dumb thing like this. I do have streak protection enbable but i hear often it does not even work...

If i miss a "puzzle piece" or such oh well sucks a bit but it is what it is, but i just don't wanna lose the streak. I hope its just a visual glitch or something.

Before they changed the dashboard and system i would sometimes do this. Do my 3 dailies pass midnight, but wait til 3am to do the rest. Never had an issue. But its the first time with this dashboard.

PS : if anybody know how to activate dark mode, i wouldn't mind as well to know 😛

Before the revamp/update, I could get 90 a day from PC edge searches, now its only 60. Phone is the same, 60. (apart from the 30 one also from phone by reading 10 articles, daily streaks, etc), the daily 3 tasks (30 points) are the same

So the usual before for me was 30 (3 daily tasks) + 90 (PC edge searchers) + 60 (phone bing searches) + 30 (phone reading articles) = 210 points

Now its only 180 points.

Done legit everything I could (End Task, Clear Cookies, restart PC, etc.) and nothing’s been working, anyone help?

This is my first time using Microsoft Rewards. I really want to save up 10,000 for something but am struggling to get points and am only getting about 200 or so. Any tips? T_T

I’d like to keep my points for a bigger purchase later on.

I haven't used MS rewards in a year and decided to open up the homepage today to check my point balance. I clicked the referral program and got this warning:

\"Due to unusual search activity, your ability to earn points or refer others to this program may be limited\"

I have not made any searches on Bing, so what would trigger this cooldown? Is this a common bug?
