Thoughts on Midnight's longevity

Given Hickman's recent revelation about why and how the Ultimate line ended, is anyone worried about how much we're gonna get out of the Midnight line?

On the one hand, if all the writers know they're only doing 24 issues, we won't have the pacing issues the Ultimate line had in year 2. On the other hand, I'd really like to see a Marvel book go past issue 24, especially in this line with really interesting concepts.

Before midnight fully comes out

What are your guys predictions/hopes that this new run will do? My hope is that this run is just good. I don’t want no ultimate or absolute just want a good run with a solid plan and ending

Would any of y'all be interested in a Midnight RP discord server?

I love collaborative writing and the premise of the Midnight Universe is right up my alley. Would anyone be interested in joining if I make a server based around the general premise of Marvel Midnight?

Quick reminder.

What’s happened in the past on other subs is some people get the comics a few days early and like to post a few pages. Haven’t seen that yet on this sub but please let’s keep things smooth, spoilers can ruin someone’s experience and hurt the sub. We’re small and need all the love we can get, so please don’t post anything not officially released and make sure you always mark spoilers. Once again Iv seen no issues, but with the release coming up I wanted to just double down on the rule. Thank you.

Midnight Universe NYCC 2026 exclusives list is now live

For anyone looking to track which Midnight Universe comic book exclusives are being promoted as available through the 2026 New York Comic-Con (and often available outside of the con), CovrPrice just released their annual NYCC exclusives list, which of course includes all known exclusives, not just those for the Midnight books.

Free access.

Where applicable, it shows who it's being sold through, including the booth number.

The database is searchable and it's also dynamic, meaning new entries will be added from now through the show dates.

If you're a retailer and have an NYCC-exclusive book you don't see on this list, add a comment or shoot me a DM with its details and I'll pass it along to get added!
