Is there mod like this??

im TIRED of opening the inventory to get items that are not in hot bar so why not make a WHOLE INVENTORY a hot bar? I dont care if takes half of my screen i dont want to open inventory over and over
So is there any mod like this or can anyone make it real?

Minecraft drug mod release

So a few days ago I made a post here asking if anyone would actually be interested in trying my Minecraft drug mod, and a terrifying amount of people seemed to want it, so here it is.

I am sincerely sorry about the awkward loader/version choice... Even though it is currently only available for Forge 1.21.8, a NeoForge 1.21.1 port is actively being developed right now.

Also, due to the mod’s content, platforms like Modrinth or others most likely would not allow it, so I ended up making a website for it instead (Vice & Villagers being the name of the mod).

Anyway, I hadn’t initially planned on releasing this, so I hope you enjoy🤷🏼‍♂️

Since it’s still a work in progress, if you experience any bugs, glitches, balancing issues, or just have recommendations, you can always share them in the new Discord server (link is on the website) and I’ll do my best to fix things or implement new features.

EDIT : AI was heavily used in the making of this mod, and I know how a lot of you guys feel about AI, so I would rather inform you guys right now. I made this mod as a passion project for my own entertainment, and what I have now is way better then what I had envision at the start, so that made me me think that maybe some of you guys would still like to try it.

Website is obviously entirely AI, I needed to do something quick and efficient to get it out there since I can't host it on other mod providers because of the content.

deceasedcraft block breaking bug (?)

So me and my friends have a server, its only me and them. (so 4 people) Recently i went into a cave to mine some stuff but sometimes we find areas where we cant break the blocks (we mine them and then they reappear like with server desync) none of us use the claim option and i dont think its a issue with the server because we dont have trouble with connecting, we play on deceasedcraft, anyone know if it could be a problem with the modpack?

I'm done with Curseforge

The three reasons below is written by RedstoneWizard, because I'm too lazy to write and edit it myself.

"Firstly, CurseForge's policies against launchers downloading their content are unnecessary and predatory, and effectively only push people to download mods using their proprietary launcher, which lacks support for platforms like Linux."

"Secondly, the revenue paid to creators by CurseForge is hundreds of times lower than the amounts paid out by Modrinth, and their transparency with these analytics leaves much to be desired. My personal experiences along with seeing other creators' statistics confirms this. Their claims of "70%" of ad revenue being given to creators are misleading if true at all, and the level of greed it takes to create this situation at all is simply incredible."

"Third, and finally, the final nail in the coffin - the Subnautica 2 situation. As shown by an announcement in the official Subnautica Modding Discord server, CurseForge has repeatedly attempted to insert itself into the Subnautica 2 modding space as the "platform of choice" for modders. They have gone so far as to attempt to bribe, solicit, and almost harass members of the modding community. Even when told to back down, they have instead focused solely on the monetary benefits of Subnautica 2 being a source of business for their platform."

But luckly- *clears throat* (my turn) -TBS is still on Modrinth and Prism Launcher. I'm not mad, I'm furious because of Curseforge! But soon, I will switch to either Modrinth or Prism Launcher, so wish me good luck figuring out how to move files into a new Minecraft launcher!

Issue with shaders and distant horizons

As the title states, I'm having an issue with shaders and horizons in combination. The shader I'm using is bliss shader through iris. As the image shows, when I look at distant water in certain directions it all turns black. I can make that black border move by changing my chunk render distance up and down, but can never get it to go away fully. It seems to be some issue with the water specifically as no other blocks do this. If anyone has seen a similar issue and has a fix I'd really appreciate it as it really kills the immersion that distant horizons brings. I'm very new to java Minecraft (just got it last week) and modding in general. Thanks in advance.

Mobs that don't disappear

Hey guys, i have this problem on my custom modpack where many mobs just stay like in the picture when i kill them. They stay as an entity, not only visually so it's kind of annoying... It does it with both modded mobs and vanilla mobs. I have so many mods so i dont want to find the responsible one by checking one by one, but maybe it's a common bug from a known mod so i ask here.

Reviving Tektopia

Hello everyone

For years, the Minecraft community has continued to talk about Tektopia. Even today, many players still hope for a modern successor or revival.

I’ve created a fundraiser which is meant to help finance the development of a brand-new mod inspired by the spirit of Tektopia, rebuilt completely from scratch for modern Minecraft versions with expanded systems, new villager professions, deeper interactions, and long-term support.

The goal is not to copy the original mod, but to create a fresh and modern experience that captures what made it so special while pushing the concept much further.

Since a project of this scale requires experienced mod developers, the funding would go toward commissioning talented Minecraft modders, artists, and development resources needed to bring the project to life properly.

[Idea Created by u/Axoladdy] - I added weight to animals!

I know another user created a version of the mod, but I was also working on my own version, and didn't want my work to go to waste, so here it is!

This entire idea was created by u/Axoladdy a couple of days ago, and I thought it was such a great idea! So, I decided to implement it.

What is this mod?

All animals have weights! Depending on the difficulty, the range is different, OR you can change the minimum and maximum in the config file, or config menu using mod menu.

An animal drops a duplicate loot pool for every weight value they have. So, if you kill a cow with a weight of 8, it will drop 8 cows worth of loot, it does this by simply generating 8 loot pools for killed cows and drops them all at once. It DOES account for fortune, making crazy outcomes.

If you have it enabled, animals can drop to a weight of 0 and get sick. Sick animals drop no loot and can't breed. They can get better by simply completing more tasks.

Gaining weight

Animals can gain weight by completing tasks they are randomly assigned, every 2 to 4 minutes. Tasks include but not limited to; "find water", "find shade", and "find friend". The animal will simply attempt to complete the task, and if they do, they get a passing value. For easy mode, they gain weight instantly, for normal and hard, they start gaining weight once they complete 2 tasks in a row. Again, these are all configurable if you don't like the way it works.

Losing Weight

Animals can lose weight by failing tasks. But that isn't the only thing that does so! Depending on the difficulty and settings that are enabled, animals lose weight when: The player punches them, or an animal sees another getting killed, or an animal is too close to a hostile mob (configurable for what hostile mobs qualify). This incentivizes the player to kill animals in one hit, instead of dealing multiple blows before it dies, as well as avoiding killing any animals in front of their friends, since that a terrible way to treat your livestock! Again, all these are configurable if you find that stupid.

Task Events

There are a total of 8 tasks that farm animals will randomly decide to complete:

- shade: find a spot without visible sky.

- sunlight: find a spot with visible sky.

- water: stand on dry land adjacent to water, including water one block below neighboring shoreline blocks.

- space: move away from nearby animals and find a clear 3x3 standing space without other animals in it.

- friend: move close enough to another same-type animal.

- light: find a spot with block light level `10` or higher above the animal.

- nap: stand on a configured soft block.

- stars: find a spot with visible sky.

Some tasks are only avaliable during the night or the day. Sunlight for example, is instead replaced with stars, though they are almost identical. Nap is only ever run at night. Shade is a daytime only task. Finally, light is a nighttime only task as well.

Rain

Animals will try to take cover during the rain and in a biome that isn't dry. When they are taking cover for rain, they will not get the "Space" task, since animals are more likely to be bundled up under cover. This is a feature that can be entirely disabled in the config.

I thought somebody would like to see the mod my buddy Juni has been working on.

He started work on this due to Create : Steam and Rails being unwilling to make the Handcart it's own mod, because it was so useful to get around train tracks without needing a full train.

He's been feeling down about the mod due to issues uploading it, and every Create discord ignoring / Banning him for self advertisement, so if this interests you, feel free to show him some love.

Edit: 2nd image was supposed to be a Gif. The Gif is on the mod page. I also forgot one of the Images explaining what you need to grind. Basically you need either of the diving boots and/or the new Rail Grinder enchant.

One day its fine, the Next it crashes. I need help.

I am playing an older create modpack, Above and Beyond on 1.16.5 using the Prism Launcher. I have succussfully played for over a week with no issues including a few hours yesterday.

Today for some reason the modpack crashes less than a minute after joining a world.

Above are the crash logs. The first from Prism itself, the second I believe is the java crash log. I play on a server with a friend and aside from the computer themselves we are running identical settings.

I have made adjustments to the java version, the forge version, my graphics drivers, and I am about to backdate some windows updates.

I do not believe it is the prism launcher that is causing the crash as it happens with the same pack through the minecraft launcher.

I normally see the two codes related to the CPP either safepoint.cpp:687, or 823.

I have no idea what these mean and I am about three hours into Gemini as a source of help.

Can Anyone determine what is causing my crash and how to fix it? Many Thanks

I've built a Minecraft cartel/drug mod where you can build your own operation and make it grow

The mod currently has multiple substances with dose-dependent effects, come-up/peak/comedown stages, tolerance/addiction mechanics, custom crafting chains, workstations, and cross-substance interactions. Substances can be found in world structures, crafted, or purchased. The effects are pretty cool and unique from one substance to the other, some has visuals, and they can affect survival, movement, hunger, nausea, regeneration, perception, navigation, and long-term player state.

There’s also a village economy layer now where villages can have market brokers, customers, and dealers. Brokers buy products and precursors, offer contracts, and sell every vanilla item and blocks for emeralds. Customers make requests, can become repeat buyers, and demand changes depending on what they consume. Dealers sell finished products for emeralds.

The gameplay loop is basically: gather or produce materials, process them through custom workstations, use or sell the final products, fulfill contracts, earn emeralds, and use that money to expand production or buy building blocks.

I’m still polishing and finishing a few crafting chains, but the core system is already working pretty smoothly. The mod currently runs on Forge 1.21.8 58.1.8.

Would this be something people here would actually be interested in trying, or is it too sus? 😂 I've attached a few pics.

Bedrock version of blockbuster?

I want to make minecraft videos, so i went to download blockbuster and i discovered (the hard way after spending two hours trying to download it) that it's not made for bedrock on computer.
