I think I accidentally made Minecraft's strangest prehistoric world

A few more looks at Primordial Dragons, our WIP Minecraft dimension inspired by old paleoart and vintage dragon illustrations.

I've been working on giving each area its own distinct prehistoric feel, from strange forests and volcanic landscapes to more familiar-looking dinosaur country.

Still a long way to go from being a finished mod, we need mobs and structures, but I'm really happy with how the world is starting to come together.

Which biome would you want to explore first?

I wanted to make a Minecraft dimension that feels like an old dinosaur painting

Myself and my team have been working on Primordial Dragons, a new dimension inspired by old paleoart, prehistoric landscapes and vintage dragon illustrations.

It's still a WIP, but here's a glimpse of some of our dimension's biomes!

Trying to make something that feels a little less like Minecraft with dinosaurs and more like stepping into an old natural history book.

Messing with mobs on optifine and cursed myself

Changed a single value, ended up being the wrong parameter. After loading in game, I got a sore throat and headache.

Maybe a fun release once I recover.

What to do in 8-10 hours on a Saturday?

I have a flight into SGN Saturday late morning that will get me to our hotel around 1pm. I think its somewhere around the D3 area.

I know we plan on doing the war museum, but wanted some insight from locals or others who have been on some must-dos while im there for such a short time.

I dont think we're going to eat at a single place for lunch/dinner, but perhaps try all SGN has to offer in forms of small dishes or sharing street foods etc.

Open to all ideas/recommendations!

Phu Quoc - Comfortably Uncomfortable?

My family and I are spending a week in Phu Quoc, currently four days in, and I cannot tell if it’s just me or if it truly is the fact something is slightly off with this place.

We’re staying quite central and it’s quiet and really relaxing. I’ve heard the beaches in the south are stunning and we plan to head over there soon, but our beaches locally are a mix of clean and dirty (trash all over the place, probably being washed up).

Sunset town is pretty but feels both busy and dead at the same time. Yes I was aware a lot of things are not open or built yet and it is getting there, but I still get the same impression already knowing that.

I’m also curious to understand what daily life is like on Phu Quoc for locals compared to the rest of Vietnam. Is everyone local to the island pretty much working for one of the two groups (Sun/VW) or know someone who does? Kind of like Orlando and Disney World in a way.

UtilityGolems (1.0.1) now has Timber Golems!

A timber golem chops down trees and replants them, placing the logs, sticks, and excess saplings in nearby chests. The choice of log determines what texture the timber golem will have, matching the log type used to make it. Can be healed with sticks. Will run away from fire. Specific types will only farm their own wood type. Stops working at night.

Tutoring in Cybersecurity

I have a degree in Computer Science (1st class Honours) and a PhD in cybersecurity. I have worked as a professional for many years. Just looking at potential side hustles and tutoring did come up. What's the market like for something like this and where would I be best tutoring for this subject?

Any advice/tips greatly appreciated!
