So I had issues loading my sims game after the update, and once my game finally loaded it seemed completely broken. I am getting error 21, and every gallery item is "corrupted" with a red X

what I have tried:

Repairing game: fixed save issue, but added a glitchy square as well as only let me manage worlds

Turn off my firewall: Nope...

Removed script mods: I only had better exceptions, but this fixed the blue box... but the other issues are back

Remove all mods: Cant load my save, creating a new save doesn't let me get beyond CAS

Create a new sims folder: Issue fixed!

Then I added back a small amount of mods, which had the issue back! When I removed said mods, now having none in my folder, the game is displaying the same issues as before. Gallery is corrupted, and I cannot save my game.

I am confused why the game is still corrupted even if I remove all mods? At this point there is no cache to clean... so I repaired my game again. This DID NOT fix the issue. So a mod is permanently corrupting my game? Why? How do I fix this?

PLEASE help me I have spent hours trying to figure this out!

But does this mean I just cant play with mods? I am so confused why they just don't work! None of them? Even my ones that are strictly from curse forge and absolutely updated...

Hello! i recently got a mac book neo and downloaded the sims from EA. when i went to go download mods for the game i couldn’t find the mod folder anywhere? i’ve tried some troubleshooting like turning on script mods in the game and then restarting my computer.. but that didn’t do anything either. am i doing something wrong or am i doomed to never play with mods? </3

I’m using basemental rugs and for some reason I can’t sell amphetamines? I have the skill mastered and I can talk to other sims like seal the deal but once I complete that and I click back on the sim and to go basemental again the amphetamines option is completely gone and I don’t have the option to sell them. Does anyone know how to fix this?

so basically I’m working on the new sims mod manager(for my gf) but I want to create universal app for downloading mods from many sources like patreon, tumblr etc, is it cool enough for community? will you download it and maybe donate?

hi someone please help - when i open up my game my family doesn’t show yet it shows when i open the load game tab. then when i try click the household it takes me back to select worlds but the family appears on the screen when i go back to main menu. i tried to play with another file but it does the same thing. at first when loading into the house hold it was just taking long to load. i do have mods/cc and deleted the normallly problamatic mods, my laptop is brand new and the game runs fast but this is my only problem. i have updated my mods and have done everything i searched on google and ea someone please help 😭.

Hi! So obviously I’d think it goes into the mods folder. But I have premium and use the basket install and the folder is in the same folder as my EA > The Sims 4 folder. Not mods. Should I move it? Some things don’t always show up.

Hi everyone!! Sorry to bother.

Long story short is, I’m still currently playing offline because I am scared of going back online and updating the game yet, even though TURBODRIVER confirmed that their mod works and doesn’t need any updates whatsoever; they even mentioned that since this was just a mistake/bug fixing patch, most mods wouldn’t be affected.

I’ve been checking Scarlet’s list, AND a few Patreon posts to see if anyone else of the mods I still don’t have confirmation about (which is what is keeping me from updating my game yet) had posted something, but everyone’s pretty quiet for now.

I am just gonna put the list of the few mods I use, in case any of you already tried or know anything! I would appreciate feedback, thank you very much <3

has anyone had problems with the new update when you go into cas mode? ive taken out every cas mod i can think of and when i enter cas mode everything goes blank and i cant seem to exit out of it without force closing sims4 entirely someone please let me know if ur having these issues and mod is causing it to do so!!

Has anyone else been struggling to get their CC to load after the most recent update? I’ve repaired the game about 7x now. I’ve removed my mods folder, deleted the cache files, removed my saves, and the “enable custom content and mods” button won’t stay pressed each time the game has been reloaded.

My gallery search results simply do not appear anymore since the update. It loads for a long time, and when it finally does, I just have a message saying I should “redefine pack filters” (or smth like that, sorry. I play in pt br so idk the translation). And even if I click it, it doesn’t show up anything. Even when I enter the catalogues of simmers I follow, they show no results at all. Anyone else having this problem?

I’m begging someone to make ondarion have snow!!!! If you know such mod or can make one, please let me know. Snowy Worlds doesn’t have it yet. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find it. Mccc won’t override the game, snow falls but doesn’t stay.
