Hello,
I come from the sub-district where I feel that most of them are pro-bald. 😅
I am 32 years old, my gulfs have been pronounced since I was 14, and now my density is thinning on the top of my head, it seems.
It’s been 2 years since I adopted the ridge to adapt to my gulfs. But if it starts to fade, there’s no need to keep it.
Last summer I shaved, so I kept a souvenir photo.
Do you think I should definitely take the leap?
Knowing that as soon as it looks "shabby", I will of course shave.
What do you think?
I’ve had a mohawk for the better part of 12 years. For the last 4-ish years, I’d let the top grow out to a long ponytail, and shaved the back. I missed my mohawk, so I let everything grow out so I could start from scratch. My spouse shaves my sides, and I really look forward to this bonding time. The whole process is so relaxing! Somehow the line got messed up and in order to fix it, they left this spot to grow back out. They said it looked more like a “corner” instead of a smooth line. I get it. Accidents happen. But now it looks like this.
I see hundreds of people in the course of working my two jobs, so I get at least a dozen comments a day on my hair. It’s made me very self conscious, and I just know people are thinking that I cut my hair myself and just missed this spot. Would you power through to fix the line, or would you fix it by shaving more into the long hair?
I wanted to go all bald again, but I stopped at the Mohawk this time, because I like it really really a lot 😍 Can't wait to explore this hair style. Although I'm radical unconventional and a punk my entire, I never had a Mohawk.
Update for the few who saw my last post and wanted to see it when it was dyed. Ignore how it looks wet, i was just gelled. It came out more red than pink but im dying the buzzed parts blue soon
Yesterday I went and got my first mohawk cut in almost 9 years, and I love how it turned out. Im dying it all hot pink tomorrow
