Recommendations for reliable concrete contractors for a patio/slab in Plymouth Meeting, PA?

I’m looking for a good concrete contractor to install a backyard patio/slab (~400 sq ft) in Plymouth Meeting. Prefer local companies that do quality work, proper base/drainage, and are licensed/insured.
Who would you recommend in the Plymouth Meeting / Norristown / Blue Bell area? Any recent experiences or companies to avoid?
Thanks!

For anyone in the area who's been towed by Giannone — here's what I learned.

I had parked my vehicle behind Main Street in the Lansdale Station apartment complex in one of their lots. There is a section clearly marked for 2-hour parking, and there is a clear delineation of where residential parking begins. I'll admit — I parked in the residential section and had done so before without issue. Rolled the dice, and they got me at around 10 PM Saturday night.

Their phone number on the signs leads you to a call tree that's frustrating to navigate. If you go the route of trying to reach the lot to reclaim your vehicle outside of their business hours, they will not respond. Following the phone tree and getting in contact with dispatch, I found out that you can reach someone on weekends either around 10 AM or 12 noon on Saturday and Sunday.

They will not give you the location of their lots or your vehicle until you get in touch with them — I think that's the most frustrating part. But for those who are interested, here are the two locations I know of:

Conshohocken lot: 1125 Conshohocken Rd, Conshohocken PA

Hatfield lot: 241 Union St, Hatfield PA

My vehicle was stored at the Hatfield location. I managed to get Jennifer on the line Sunday morning around 11:00 AM, at which point she indicated that Ashley would be assisting me in retrieving my vehicle.

Jennifer was helpful and easy to talk to, and Ashley was also very personable. That said, it was a significant amount of money between the after-hours fees and base fees. They did not provide an itemized invoice and the release was cash only — be forewarned.

Also worth noting — the individuals who helped me mentioned that the towing company owner's wife, Angie, is typically the one who answers the phone and is reportedly less than pleasant to deal with. I'm sure there are legal avenues available if you're feeling motivated to pursue them, but my personal experience retrieving my vehicle was far less painful than dealing with the PPA.

I hope you get your vehicle back safe and sound.

Goodnight, and good luck.

Why is the grid diagonal?

This may be a dumb question, but why are all the roads laid out diagonal in this area? It seems like the only roads going somewhat close to N-S are 476, 309, and 29

Whole house backup generator

Anyone experience a good and reasonably priced company to procure and install a home backup generator?
Is 17k reasonable for a 28kw Generac with installation.
Natural gas 24ft away, panel 65ft away
Trying to get some feedback from people with recent experiences.
Did you contract someone, went through Lowe’s/home depot or Costco?

Anyone else notice a shift in the local job market/culture lately?

I’ve been talking to a few business owners in the Bucks/Montco industrial parks lately, and there seems to be a common theme: people are physically "there," but the engagement is at an all-time low.

I’m a leadership consultant based here in Warminster, and I’m trying to get a pulse on what employees in our area are actually feeling. Is it burnout? Poor management? Or just the "commute stress" of Street Road and 611?

If you're a manager or employee in the area, what’s the #1 thing that would make your team perform better right now? Just curious to hear from the community.

So i’ve been looking at artists in Philly and their portfolios and for the tattoos i want, i feel like there’s no one who would actually do it 😭 I just can’t find someone that seems like a good match. i’ve attached some inspo pics of what i want to have done (not getting these actual designs done, planning on changing them to make them more personal). also don’t want to go to someone that’s crazy expensive.

i would appreciate any suggestions for artists in philly, bucks county, or montgomery county! thanks
