MotoAmerica at VIR Saturday Shots
First time working on panning with my R50 and 100-400mm with motorcycles, thought it went surprising well for the limited time with that setup!
Would love any feedback, especially on composition - feel like I’m purely shooting for the bike and blur and hoping for the best for the actual stuff in the background. Do you build a muscle memory of where you start and stop the pan rotation or how do you incorporate that into the mix?

Before this season, I decided not to renew my MotoAmerica Live+ subscription because of the streaming issues people were reporting, especially the audio problems and reliability concerns. I figured I’d wait and see if things improved before signing back up.
Today I decided to come back after finding a deal I couldn’t pass up.
I was able to get the remainder of the 2026 season plus the entire 2027 season for $71.50 using the promo code PITSTOP-50. At that price, it seemed worth giving the service another shot. Even if there are still a few issues to work out, getting the rest of this season and all of next season for about $71 feels like a really good value.
Just wanted to share in case anyone else has been holding off like I was. Hopefully the streaming experience keeps getting better.

A streaming quality tip
Just wanted to share a little tidbit that I discovered a few months back: if you’re like me and stream from the phone app to your TV, the quality is remarkably better using Airplay vs Chromecast. It’s night and day. Hope this helps!
