Stanley spiral ratcheting screwdriver with bits.

This is New Old Stock, still sealed in its original packaging.

Has not been touched since the factory. No rust, this is in MINT condition! Nary a fingerprint. Original price tag still on the package!

The bits are included, but they can be hard to see since they are in their own separate package.

See photos for the factory seal, which looks like a horizontal bar with stamped vertical lines.

I have given it a light cleaning. Packaging has dark spots, which I believe can be removed with careful cleaning.

Story: I found this at a legit country store. It is run by an elderly woman who has health problems and can only open the store occasionally. I have not been able to find this store open for the last 2 years, and I jammed on the brakes when I saw the open sign. She abruptly closed the store right after I paid.

She has a ton of new old stock going back to the 1990s. I also got a Stanley tri-square and some chisels, which were packed in the same style as this screwdriver. She said it's probably been hanging there this whole time. The photos include how I found it in situ. When I took it to the counter, she said, "Oh, that's the 1990s price..." so the price you see is less than I paid.

I originally got this because I thought it was laughably long, compared to the 130a I already have. I thought I could take it out, give it a few twists, and put it back in the package and hang it with my hand planes. I didn't realize until I got home that it was sealed in the package. I can't take it out without destroying the one thing that makes this unique. I have it hanging around, and if I keep it, I don't know if I can resist the temptation to take it out. So it's here, and hopefully it will go to someone who will highly value its sealed condition.

Ducati drops to MotoGP concession tier B, Aprilia moves up to tier B, and Honda drops to tier D.

The 2026 MotoGP World Championship season has reached its summer break , and that not only means that the riders and teams are now heading off on their holidays, but also that it's time to review the concession ranges for the five manufacturers , based on the points accumulated in the constructors' world championship.

When the system was established in 2024 , it was determined that two reviews would be done per year: one at the end of the season and another during the summer break ; each review covering a period of one year: in this way, the new review takes into account the 21 races held in the second half of 2025 (from Austria) and those we have held in 2026 .

The big news is Ducati's drop to the B tier of concessions , as they failed to reach the 85% required to remain in the A tier , where they had been firmly entrenched since the system's implementation. However, it was a close call, as they achieved 84.56% of the points .

It had been clear for months that Aprilia would move up to the B tier , escaping the C tier where they had been for the two and a half years the system had existed. With 72.2% of the points earned in the last year, they far exceed the 60% required for that status.

C range in which KTM continues, with 49.81% of the points, remaining in the same position since 2024; and in which the Austrian brand is left alone, since Honda has not managed to stay in the range to which they rose at the end of the 2025 season.

They barely made it in that one - and celebrated enthusiastically - but their start to 2026 has not been good and they have dropped below 35% of points (specifically with 31.79% ) to return with Yamaha, which with 23.55% of the points continues to be the bottom of the category.

This table shows  what each range entails in terms of tires, drivers and test circuits, as well as the possibility of wild cards and engine development.

It was already determined that all concessions would be updated immediately, so Ducati regains the possibility of making some wild cards and gains 20 tires for testing; while Aprilia loses 30 tires and will only be able to make two more wild cards (it already did one with Lorenzo Savadori in Jerez).

Without a doubt, the biggest beneficiary in this regard is Honda , since the D range of concessions is the most favorable for manufacturers: they will be able to do unlimited testing with the regular drivers and on any circuit ; and, above all, they will have two more engines with free development and an extra aerodynamic upgrade .

Where is "Pressure to Rise"??

I have done searches and can't find anything saying yay or nay on this year's PtR. Normally, episodes would be out by now.

I assume it's not going to happen, but I would like to get confirmation on that.

How to change the gutters to divert more water to rain barrels.

I've got a house with one long side, a straight gutter, and a downspout on each end. Obviously, the gutter between the two downspouts is not flat. Instead, there is a barely noticeable peak that forces the water to either side. However, the peak is not in the middle; it's close to one downspout.

Unfortunately, I had to put my rain barrel at the short end. So relative to the other downspout, I get very little water into my rain barrels. I have a 500 gallon capacity, so this is profound.

I have an idea to force more water to my rain barrels without undoing my gutters.

I bought an end cap for a gutter, and I will bend it in a way that it will fit inside of the gutter and it will act like a weir. I prefer reversible installations, so I will just use silicone to hold it in place. I will drill several small holes in the bottom of this weir to still allow all water to eventually drain. But in a high flow scenario, water should be dammed up and flow towards the rain barrels.

I wanted to post to see if there are any better ideas than this.
