Who's your favorite companion in Warband? I try to play in different ways (good/evil), I like roleplaying. But I always pick Bunduk! That anarchic son of a bitch just wants to spill noble blood and I'm fine with that!
so i LOVE BANNERLORD. but iv heard so many great things about warband and ofc yall are gonna be biased... i know it might be dated but is it worth giving it a shot?

Used to have over 300, now i have around 200 troops, i also kost Aracnus and other followers. I want to fix this if possible, i don't think i lost the troops because no traveller can tell me their whereabouts, my party size just kinda shrunk
last i played this game was.. probably 8 years ago. never played native, went straight to pendor (due to friend's recommendation) and i loved it. never even thought of adding more mods to it back then, especially since i had to get my friend to backseat me on how to install the mod thru nexus at that time. this game is literally the first game i've ever modded.
anyway, i've been reminded of warband a lot lately and so i wanted to play it again. however, i'd also like to add other mods to it if possible but seeing that PoP itself is a spectacular mod already, i reckon it'll break if i add any other mods into the fray?
and i'm not even talking about other big mods like fallout or perisno, just things like better stats or diplomacy. will those break PoP?
I have two companions or whatever they're called. One is hyper medic focused, the other is for pathfinding and spotting. My main character is of warrior origin and is mostly strength. My renown is about 300ish, my army cap is 70 I have my army mostly comprised of swadian knights and nord veterans (on their way to becoming huscarls). I haven't worked on my relationship with my faction too much, the swadians. My weekly take home is about 2k. I mostly put up ironworks and wineries in a few places. What would be my next move of advancing my position vs the realms? Just do quests for lords in my faction?
So, I want something close to native just updated more. Diplomacy? Or diplomacy litdum.
