Do you have any ideas for Warband mods?

Before I release my mod, I would like to know if you have any simple yet great ideas that could be implemented into the game. For years, I have told myself that if a certain simple feature were added, it would make a huge impact. If you have any suggestions like that, I would love to try and make them happen. In case you are wondering why I am asking instead of modding, I have run out of simple ideas to implement. All I have left are complex features that would require me to learn a lot more to pull off.

How to marry everybody

I play with the Dickplomacy mod and I married every available maiden, asked anyone who would agree to join my retinue and made an unkillable army lol. I want to do it again but I really don’t want to spend another month courting all of them, asking for their father’s/brother’s permission, winning tournies for their affection, etc. I tried to use the cheat menu or the built in cheat mode in the mod, but whenever I’d lose a battle, the wives would leave my army, and would go missing. Even their family won’t know where they are. And if I do find and talk to them, they’ll just respond with “i’ll drink from your skull”. I also tried warbender to try and code the women from single to married to me, but it doesn’t say which slot is the marriage slot. Any tips?

Dickplomacy problem

>I recently discovered Dickplomacy. No, I don't use it for what you think I do well, I do, but that's not the point. Yeah, I just wanted to ask: am I doing something wrong? How do I train peasant women to work in brothels? I saw a guide and did what it said: put peasants in the prison garrison, etc. I waited, but when I walk into my tavern and bathhouse and talk to the Madam, it says the same thing: "Go over accounts," "I can no longer manage this establishment, sell it," and just an exit option. I enslaved the entire Sarranid Sultanate for nothing! Also, are there more mods like Dickplomacy, but with more fantasy? I hate vanilla Warband. I've tried a mod called "The Wedding Dance," but there are no 18+ features. It's not like that is a problem, but it is needed for my lore.

Any fix for this issue?

This happens every time after playing for a few minutes. My game version is 1.174. I didn't put any mod in the game.

Republicans vs Nationalists: The Red & Blue Mod

I haven’t played Red & Blue for YEARS, definitely not since before Covid - completely forgotten about it.

For anyone who doesn’t know it, it’s a Spanish Civil War -themed Warband mod (Might need NW - Unsure), and I jumped back into it recently during a community mod night. I genuinely forgot how much was packed into it.

Moving tanks, artillery, warships, flamethrowers, machine guns, SMGs... all in Warband 😂

I was honestly surprised by how much the mod does and had a brilliant time playing it again.

There’s a community event every Saturday at 9pm BST (UK time) (open to everyone — no clan requirements, just jump on the server).

I’m going to try and go more often now I realise there's events still running 😄

Help in managing my Kingdom, Nords are pain in the butt

I made my own kingdom, breaking away from Swadia starting from Veluca. The underscored towns are the ones I intend on having for myself (I had Yalen and Jelkala for a long time but gave them away, honestly don't know why hahah). Swadia, Rhodoks, Sarranids all eliminated thus lords are flocking to the Nords and Khergits while I have to beg 1 on 1 for them to join me. The "circled" parts are what my vassals have and this is a problem looking online because they are holding too many fiefs by the looks of it.

They have sizeable armies ranging around 100-150 but they are slow so they can barely defend although they are handy when I invade others. Now I'm at war with both the Nords and Khergits both fielding around 1400 troops with the marshal, I can't beat them even if I band together because they still have twice the numbers and the huscarls are still strong even if I have swadian knights.

The Nords have taken my Dhirrim probably marching south, the Khergits are sieging Shariz and I want to cry. I think I'm around 780 days into the campaign.

Do you guys have any tips or pointers how do I continue expanding and how to get out of this mess? I think only 1 vassal is martial maybe 2 and the rest are the nice lords.

Great Hall Rework. It is from my WIP submod for Prophesy of Pendor

The Great Hall, which can be accessed through a walled fief's seneschal, has been reworked. There are now a bunch of pretty useful options available. But, to maintain game balance, availability of every service provided in the Great Hall is based on your status in the realm.

This means that if you are the owner of the castle or you are the King of the owner, you will have full access to everything you see in the screenshots. On the other hand, if you are an independent mercenary captain, you will only have access to the dungeon to sell your prisoners.

But, if you sign a contract with a faction, then you can hire mercenaries (not mercenary companies) in the war room or ask for permission to buy prisoners from the dungeon. If you have a high enough relation with the lord of the castle, you may buy these prisoners and recruit them to serve in your army.

Ideas how to make enemy tactics better?

Currently, the enemy AI is the most dangerous, when they just blindly charge at me.

If they defend, they just stand around and wait for my crossbows to kill them, while their crossbows are wasting time and ammo on my shield guys.

If they attack, they often try to slowly flank me or something, but this also gives my crossbows time to kill them and they sometimes get bunched up and confused near the invisible wall (map border).

I changed the AI so that they always charge at me like bandits and it is better now, but this still means their cavalry and archers run ahead of infantry and get slaughtered by my crossbows first.

I already removed all athletics skill from archers, so they run slower, but they are still faster than the shieldmen.

I suppose I could just boost the athletics skill of infantry, but I wanted to ask if anyone has experience with solving this problem and how to make AI tactics not stupid?

Fairly new got some Qs

I would like to keep this fairly brief because nobody wants to read a novel.

I’ve watched quite a few videos and I may be looking at the wrong sources so hopefully I can get some straight Ish answers

I’m clear to your level two and I have about 50 or so guys for context

I’m a mercenary for the Sturgeon

I guess I’m just feeling like I’m not really doing much and I’m wondering if it’s how I’m playing

I’m winning tournaments left and right taking out hideouts but I guess the thing I was looking forward to most taking on enemy combatants for the people I’m doing mercenary work for does anyone have any advice on what types of parties I should be going after because I don’t want them to wipe me

I have about 22K in gold am I spending a day is roughly 300 I’m also having somewhat trouble of staying afloat financially, but just between travel and food and the quest that I’m picking up

I am aware I am probably doing myself a deer cause I’m not smithing, but I don’t wanna totally break the game and make it too easy for myself

Yes, I’m kind of wondering where to go really what I should be doing at this level and it doesn’t really seem to explain how to get a castle or or become your own kingdom and stuff like that. I’m looking to learn a lot of the mechanics and just kind of get good and I’m putting some time in but a lot of these YouTube videos just seem like they’re breaking the economy on purpose or stuff like that which I feel like, doesn’t give a totally authentic experience

My army is filled with 30% Calvary 40 to 60% infantry and the rest are archers and they are from pretty much everywhere

Hopefully, I gave enough context, and I am very open to any advice that you have for a fairly new player

I haven’t even cracked war sails yet… wanted to get good at the base game first

What do you think about this? It is from my WIP submod

Greetings, lords and ladies of Calradia... or perhaps I should say Pendor?

The 6 fief requirement has been removed, only being a King or Queen, that holds land is required to have these options, and of course if you manage to take a monarch prisoner.

If you are a monarch with land, you see the 1st picture, if you are a monarch but holds no lands, you'll see the 2nd picture, if you are not a monarch, you'll see the 3rd picture. And the last picture is the options menu.

A few months ago, I found myself making edits and applying tweaks to Prophesy of Pendor from its fandom page, and it turned into what I would consider a decent submod. I plan to share all the changes very soon. I think this new feature is one of the most prominent ones, so I would love to see what the community thinks about it.

Any tips on getting better?

I spent so much time building up this army just to be completely destroyed by a stronger army, this is the third time and im about to quit the game altogether. I was wondering if theres any way to get a good army fast so i Dont have to start from scratch

Anyone Still Interested in A.C.O.K submod!?

Hey there everyone!

I'm currently looking to start a submod covering A.C.O.K version 8.0, and attempting to fix remaining issues, like unit and item balancing, quests, quest rewards, bandit spawns and faction invasions.

I'd like to get peoples opinion's about ACOK version 8.0 and previous versions so I can better undestand the current state of the mod. I'm also looking to just discuss the mod in general!

If anyone has any insights or has attempted to do something similar with A Clash of Kings, feel free to comment so we can talk about it!

War of the ring BFME2, Rotwk

Please help me!!!
i have modded rotwk patch 2.02 myself like editing powers, factions, units and many things. everything is OK. BUT......
war of the ring mode is the toughest challenge i have ever faced yet i havent found solution to make ai play stronger. like how? i want brutal to play like a real player or making its units to drop on its own or their ally territories whether territory belongs to him or his ally partner. so that they (AI brutals) wont have lose times or rounds to get units in hero commanders. i searched up every details in big file but could not find files related to strategic or behaviour of ai in wotr mode. so do you know how to do it?
