Hello, I picked up warband after several years it's just as good as I remember!
That said, I tried courting someone (dedicated tournaments and visited her a couple times) but I lost relationship points when I wanted to duel, so I quit and ended up not accepting the quest which might've been a mistake because I just realized she got married to another lord.
Is there any way to edit or reset the relationships ?
Prophesy of Pendor has always had Travelling Order Knights, who go from tavern to tavern to tell you about their order. At first, this is a nice way to inform new players about the knighthood orders, but after a while, they become something you just ignore. So, I decided to turn them from travel weary knights into knights who have lost their group and become stranded.
The player now has the option to help them with just 500 denars to get them back on their feet so they can continue their journey back to their order's stronghold. If the player decides to help, the knights will show their appreciation by having 5 of their members join the player's party (if there is enough room). The player will also gain honor and relations with that specific order.
If the player refuses to help but remains respectful, nothing happens. But if the player decides to insult the knights because of their sorry state, it will cost them honor and relations with the order.
I set the cost to just 500 denars. While this might seem too cheap for such high quality knights, Travelling Knights are a rare spawn, so it won't break game balance.
Also, if you are a member of their order, there will be a different conversation options, but the outcome remains the same.
Knighthood Order Knights and Sergeants can now be hired if you meet certain conditions.
As an outsider, Order Knights are willing to serve under your banner for 1,000 denars each (up to 10 knights), and Order Sergeants for 500 denars each (up to 10 sergeants), if you have at least 35 relation points. But, this option is only available once per month.
As a fellow order member, the cost remains the same, but the frequency increases to once per week, and the relation requirement drops to anything above 0. If your relation goes below 0, you will be kicked out of the order anyway, so there is effectively no relation requirement for your own order.
As a Grandmaster, the knights and sergeants will still cost denars, but they can be repeatedly hired immediately.
I have made some other changes to make the game more difficult, such as larger garrisons and wealthier lords. But, I'm still not sure if even the Grandmaster should have a cooldown, maybe 1 day to prevent instantly raising a huge high quality army?
I think it might be too broken if a player with 300,000 denars could instantly raise an army of knights and sergeants? I've heard some players could achieve millions of denars in just a few hundred days.
In warband, I married a lady. Last time I remember she was in her father's kingdom. I went to buy some tools and linen (or whatever she asked to me to change our court) and now when I came back to the same place. She is not there anymore. I can't find ask kingdom lords also for her maybe because she is married to me and I am a king myself. One thing to note is I was in a hurry and we eloped togather so her side of family has bad realtions with me.
