I've bought warband today, and the graphics are too old for me. Are there any mods that can enhance graphics without AI? My first post btw, sorry if I write like a shit.

Ive been absolutely addicted to this game lately and I want to ask when the right time is where you guys usually betray your faction and start your own kingdom.

In my previous playthrough i helped the Swadians to dominate like half the map and then started my own faction which made it really difficult because they were really strong.

In my current playthrough I pledged allegiance to the Vaegirs, I am Lord of Wercheg, Tehlrog Castle and just captured Knudarr Castle. The Nords are almost finished with Sargoth and a couple other castles as their only fiefs. The rest of the factions are pretty even.

What would you do now? Should I betray Yaroglek if he doesnt give me Knudarr Castle or should I stay with the Vaegirs for now?

I’ve been hearing so much hype for it that I’ve grown curious. Like I found Bannerlord really enjoyable the first time around but then it got more and more boring. The fact that Bannerlord on the console doesn’t have mod support either didn’t help. So now I‘m wondering if I should. But I just got to say this playing Bannerlord is miserable not only do have the basic flaws of Bannerrors but you also don’t have mods to spice up your playthrough. But anyways should I get it?

Here is the summary:

This is my second campaign and I have put the game on the easiest possible (which might have been a mistake). The first 1 was a collosal failure.

As a result I am able to capture every city with minimal losses. I currently have under my rule Dhirim, Halmar and Shariz. My army consists of around 50 Swadian knights.

I have sworn under the king of Swadia.

Here is my issue:

Swadia is at war with the Rhodoks, Sarranids and Khegits. They all want 1 of my cities and they constantly attack them. The king isn'taking pease with any of them.

Now my problem. I have to constantly rush to one of the cities and liberate it or defend from the sieges. Often I can convince the city to surrender, but by the time I rush there another town is under siege. Now I can do that forever but then I wouldn't be able to progress.

I also don't have time to build up relations with villages to be able to recruit more for a garrison.

I can't leave my army at a city as from what I've read the quantity of my garrison is the only factor for lords to decide weather to attack or not.

Now the question:

What would you do in this situation. Is there even a way out with all 3 cities. Do I just give up.

Warband honestly deserves a FULL Indian history mod on the level of 457 A.D.

India has one of the most insane settings possible for Mount & Blade and somehow nobody has made a polished total conversion yet.

Think about it:

• Massive kingdoms like the Mughals, Marathas, Rajputs, Sikhs, Mysore
• Elephant warfare
• Matchlocks, cannons, curved swords, armored cavalry
• Huge fort sieges inspired by real Indian forts
• Political betrayals between nawabs, emperors, and the East India Company
• Dense cities, deserts, jungles, mountains
• Naval trade on the Indian Ocean
• Persian, Turkic, Indian, and European influences all mixed together

Warband mods like 457 A.D, Gekokujo, and Viking Conquest prove that historical conversions can become legendary if enough effort goes into atmosphere and worldbuilding.

Honestly surprised the community never fully committed to it.

Decided it was time to start a kingdom, messed with the swadians as they were decimated by other factions and took vyincourd for myself, left me with about 60 troops at the garrison. Had to destroy some swadians so that left me to 40, so I went to nord territory to get some more troops and... Rhodoks declared war, got back to my castle and had the entire Rhodok army against me, they hadnt had any wars yet so all troops were decent level. Got decimated in a siege of 100 vs 1100 and I just dk what to do, really, what am I meant to do here?
