I recently bought my first Mulberry (a Bayswater in NVT leather) and I've been reading about how beautifully these bags are supposed to age.
I'd love to see real life examples!
If you own a Mulberry Bayswater, Alexa, Lily, Antony, Iris, or any other style please share a photo and tell us:
• How old is it?
• What leather is it made from?
• Has it been used daily or just occasionally?
• Have you conditioned it or have you let it age naturally?
Hi, Mulberry Bayswater has been the bag of my dreams. Been on my wish-list for years! I think i am ready to pull the trigger. I love blue and green and I am between the Poplin Blue or the Bayswater Green. Just from price alone I gravitate towards the Poplin Blue. I will be using this as a work bag.
Should I pull the trigger and order it??
I love the color and shape but want to make sure it’s the real deal
Hi, can anyone tell me if this bag is genuine? I found it online for £350 and I love the colour just worried I might be getting scammed!
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a pre-owned Mulberry Bayswater and noticed something about one of the handles.
The handles have a rigid internal core/tubing, but on one end of one rear handle the tubing stops about an inch before the leather tab, leaving a long section of unsupported soft leather. On the other end of the same handle, the tubing extends almost all the way to the tab. My front handle is much more even but has the same problem.
Has anyone seen this happen on older Bayswaters?
Is this mostly a cosmetic issue caused by the internal handle core moving?
Many thanks
I hadn’t been planning on buying a bag but then I saw the Mulberry Mini Alexa in Marina Blue Heavy Grain 😍 I purchased her through the Mulberry website and I have zero regrets!
The color is absolutely stunning in person 🩵 it photographs beautifully but seeing it IRL is something else entirely. Marina Blue has this perfect balance of being a statement color without being loud or obnoxious. It’s fresh, unique and versatile enough to carry year round here in coastal Southern California where I live. I will not tire of it.
The leather is the Heavy Grain and it’s exceptional….substantial, structured and has that satisfying weight that signals real quality! I predict it’s going to age beautifully and only get better with time.
The hardware is gold and it’s perfect against the marina blue with the iconic postman’s lock closure, the buckle straps, the rings….all of it feels solid and well-finished. Nothing cheap, questionable or flimsy!
The braided top handle is such a signature detail and it elevates the whole bag! It matches my hair braid I sometimes wear and I 💕 it! You can carry it by hand or use the included detachable adjustable shoulder strap for a crossbody look so it’s very versatile for everyday wear.
Functionality: Don’t let the “mini” fool you! It fits the essentials beautifully! The structured base keeps it upright and the flap closure keeps everything secure.
CON: The one thing I wish were different is that they included gold hardware protective feet on the base. For a bag at this price point, protective feet feel like a given and their absence is noticeable to me. That alone knocks one star off for me unfortunately.
At $1,345 US dollars 💵 it’s an investment but this is a bag with genuine heritage, made to last! The Alexa is a classic Mulberry silhouette that has never gone out of style and in Marina Blue it feels both timeless and fresh.
Highly recommend. 9/10. 🩵

I turned 30 and made my first Mulberry purchases after lusting after their bags for literally 15 years as a present to myself! My dream bag was the o/s Alexa so I treated myself to it preloved on Vestiaire and then saw this gorgeous Ostrich Alexa on eBay and couldn't not buy it! My bank account isn't very happy but I am! Love these 😍
Received my package today after over a week of waiting! Fortunate enough to snag the last deep aubergine Lily online. The eggplant color is such a great purple neutral. This ends my luxury bag drought...been disillusioned and turned off by other brands and the prices lately (the quality doesn't match the price tag). Very happy with this purchase, even if my fur baby doesn't look too impressed!
I bought this bag at an auction with an authenticator. However someone told me it looks fake what do you guys think?
Just thought I'd share a pretty update after a few month of rehab and conditioning on my Oak NVT Bayswater I got from shop goodwill for ~$275 USD in March. This sub was able to confirm the color for me. I think it's a great indication of how lovely the leather of the bayswater is, even when it's in desperate need of some care! Also, just for fun, I screen grabbed the Mulberry website from 2014 because I was trying to get an idea of how old she was, and I was shocked to see the price! I remember YouTubers always commenting on how expensive Mulberry was back in the day, but $1500 in 2014! Damn! Anyway, I love her.
I recently got a raise, and treated myself to a Bayswater in Marina Blue, and I'm SO excited! I can't wait for it to get here! I'm also having a panic attack over the price. I have never spent so much on a bag. Tell me all the great things about Mulberry! Bonus points for pics of your Marina Blue Bayswater!
Looks legit to me but my eye is not trained… can anyone advise?
Hi!
I was wondering if this bag is genuine?
Thank you!
images are from a seller so not great quality. I can try and ask for more. Can anyone help to know if this is genuine?
