Hi. I am struggling to understand the difference between false and real gills for chanterelle mushroom ID. I found what I think are chanterelles and going by all indicators I think it's correct but the gills are throwing me off. Could anybody give me some tips please based on these photos.

We found some mushrooms today. We are pretty confident the brown one is hen of the woods. We think the other may be oyster, but we are less confident about that. Any input is helpful!
