issues with (cdp-ce 595) laser calibration

got my first sacd player (cdp-ce 595) and a few discs to test and I've have to mess around with the laser in diagnostic to get hybrid and regular cds to work because I've had issues with it skipping on light to mid scratched discs or discs that play fine in other players so far I've adjusted it and it works most of the time but I'm wondering if it's on its way out comments/ recommendations would be helpful thanks!

anybody heard of this artist?

I've been looking on the internet for hours and I haven't been able to find anything on this cassette I found it a goodwill for 49 cents its copyright is 1993, by "tabula raska" all songs are written by "d.dean" and it has credits in the booklet for people who helped on the album but none of the names jump out at me

also I have a jtag it does crash sometimes but never like this it's also a flashed trinity if that helps
