Enoki Mushrooms Making me Feel Sick
i’ve had a lot of enoki mushrooms in the past but always in small quantities. i decided to replace my noodles with a MASSIVE amount of pan-fried enoki mushrooms for dinner (bad idea, i know). at 12:30 i was woken up with the worst abdominal pain and nausea i’ve ever felt, and immediately threw up tons of whole enoki mushrooms. it’s now 2 am and i have intense cold sweats, abdominal pain, and i threw up again. i can’t sleep because i feel cold despite wearing 3 layers, and every time i lay down, the abdominal pain intensifies. i don’t think i’ll ever look at enoki mushrooms the same way again.
does anyone have any similar experiences or any idea as to why this might be happening?
i’m debating whether i should take the day off of work tommorrow as i have a major presentation. hopefully i feel better soon and can fall asleep.
