What kind of mushroom is this it’s at the base of a pine it was located in middle ga looks kind of like a reishi mushroom but bumpy the underneath is tan and the texture looks like a tongues bumps
Found in Western Cape South Africa. What are they? Came out after lots of rain and disappeared after a day.
These are growing in my family's horse pasture. Some looked like our dumb dog mightve chewed on it. Looks like 2 different species but I'm not aware of anything toxic that looks like these. Any ideas?

I’ve been watching a small patch near my urban home grow and today they look like this. The cap feels quite hard. I’m wondering if they are now “overripe” or would you still eat them at this stage.
