went for a walk on our property, i'm not very good at ID and not even close to foraging to eat. i have a lot to learn. these are on my property, so any IDs would be helpful to help me learn for the future! (: location is SC

black spots on avocado tree

i have two avocado trees about 20 ft apart, both came from the same place and have been with me for less than a year. both have the same spots on their trunk and branches. the leaves seem to be okay from what i can tell. i did read it could be sunburn or sooty mold. i was hoping to get some insight/advice. i can move it to a spot with less sun if needed as well. thank you! (:

young apple tree leaves dying

we recently planted multiple apple trees and all the others look pretty good. however, this one looks like its dying. it was fine a few days ago and i went to check on them today and noticed all the leaves are dying back. we are in SC and have had very high heat, humidity and scattered storms so i'm not sure if it's unhappy in the heat or what. any input is appreciated. thank you!

termite prevention

hi! we bought a house about two years ago now, we're in a very wooded area and want to spray for termite prevention. we have ducks, quail, and chickens outside. none are free roam but all have big coops about 20-30 ft away from the house. we also have cats that come onto the property and our dog. we have a flower garden right against the house, and a vegetable garden maybe 10+ ft away. i'm interested if anybody has gotten any prevention for termites done and knows which is safest for all of the animals and plants.

i've always had an anxiety with termites, but today i picked up a piece of garbage on the property to throw it away (lovely gifts from the previous owners, we're still picking up after them little by little) and i saw the photo above, which did not help my anxiety. i just want to make sure we're protecting our house.

i'm not sure if it's needed but we're in sc. thank you!
