Whose redemption/atonement were you more invested in?
I personally found Endeavor’s arc to be a lot more intriguing because it was honestly refreshing to see a father understand and recognise just how much damage he did to his family and genuinely wanted to be a better man and hero for them
I also really appreciated how it didn’t frame him as this misunderstood or tortured guy because no he genuinely was just an abusive prick of a father who let his ambition consume him. We got a lot more context for that ambition sure but not justification which I think was really well done
One other thing I really appreciated about Endeavor’s story is that he didn’t demand or expect any forgiveness from his family, again it was just really refreshing to see a parent wanting to do better without expecting his family to just automatically forgive him because of that, nor should they have
I dont have as much to say on Bakugo’s development though it didn’t feel quite as fleshed out as Endeavors. I did like that it was clear that he was changing for the better but they still kept his core personality in tact. I think a lot of redemption stories fall into that trap where the writers try to make a clear effort in showcasing that a previously antagonistic character has changed but they kinda screw up and turn them into a pushover but that wasn’t the case with Bakugo which I am so glad that didn’t happen
I did also love seeing just how much things improved between him and Deku in the end. It was very sweet to see them become so close
You can be a pop-star, young Midoriya.

Don't worry 15 years in solitary confinement will do that to ya
How do you think Kirishima would’ve reacted if he found out just how bad Bakugo’s bullying of Deku was prior to UA?
I don’t bring this up as a way to discredit Bakugo’s development because he did grow a lot throughout the series but this is a question that has always lingered in my mind
I know you could take this question and apply to any of the other 1-A students as well but Kirishima being the one discovering this intrigues me the most given how he was the first one to befriend Bakugo and quickly gained an admiration for him
This is a bit of a side tangent but I’ve always found Kirishima’s admiration for Bakugo to be a bit odd considering the type of character Kirishima is and what he stands for/represents, I kinda view it as a paradox of his character because on one hand I get that he was able to see through Bakugo’s bravado and respect how dedicated he was to becoming stronger but it’s so confusing because that need to become stronger was purely due to ego while Kirishima’s reasoning for becoming as strong as he can was out of selflessness, turning himself into a shield that would never break in order to protect those around him. I just find it hard to believe that Kirishima would be so quick to befriend someone like Bakugo
One other factor that keeps this question lingering in my mind is that I wonder how Kirishima would feel knowing that Bakugo was bullying the same guy that he heard leapt into danger to save him despite being quirkless at that time. I feel this is significant because part of Kirishima’s insecurities was that he thought his quirk was lacking so I can only imagine how that would put things into perspective for him
I don’t say all this to bash on Bakugo because I enjoy his character a lot and it’s been wonderful to see how much he’s grown but I can’t help but feel like he got away with too much shit in those early seasons lol
What do you guys think? How disappointed do you think Kirishima would’ve been? Or do you think he would’ve been able to look past it?
One of the best moments ever in MHA. Change my mind.
With Horikoshi's love for Star Wars, these were 100% references to Force Ghosts and I loved the parallel's
Creative Work: My Hero Academia as Transformers pt. 2
This is part two of my creative work adapting the characters from Class 1A in My Hero Academia into Transformers. Since my first post seems alright to post here, until I’m told otherwise, I’d like to keep sharing my project, so here is Herobot Uravity.
If you haven’t read about my lore for the Herobots as a team, I urge you to read about it in my post of Herobot Deku!
For Uravity, she hails from the lower income community of Planet Technomicron, raised by two doting and loving guardian figures, who gave everything to give her the life she deserved. She joined the Herobot Academy because the pay for being a Herobot was good, and it’s not because she’s only in it for the money. She had intended to give back to her guardians enough so they could retire from their careers. Unfortunately, she was never able to fulfill this dream, as the war broke out before she could finish her Academy training. Now reunited with the Autobots, she has been searching through files of any possible remaining Technomicronians, any hints to whether her guardians are even still alive.
A bubbly and friendly natured bot, she is best friends with Herobot Deku, and there are signs that the two might have a deeper bond than anyone realizes, as in the field, unless she’s leading an evacuation team, she is covering Deku’s six.
Better suited for search and rescue than hand to hand combat, she isn’t fully helpless in a fight. She’s outfitted with zero-gravity pulsars in her fingertips, and can temporarily disrupt the electromagnetic field around objects up to and including the size of Omega Supreme and negate the gravity on said object or person. However, the larger the mass, the more strain on her internal mechanisms there is, causing her to cough up Energon and oils if overspent. She can also float through the air as if she were weightless thanks to her pedes and back panels using the same zero-gravity technology to lift into the air. She also has four detachable rotor blades that, in robot mode, she can detach to give other Autobots who don’t have a good means of protecting themselves in close distance a tool to defend with.
Her vehicle mode is a rescue helicopter, and her beast mode is a Feline, which allows her more agility in the air and maneuverability, in addition to better scouting from above and evacuation directing.
Uravity’s two bot combiner forms, assuming she takes the top, are as follows. I should mention that the Two Bot names follow [TopBottom] splicing:
UraviDeku (Deku)
UravIum (Ingenium)
UravOppy (Froppy)
UraviYomi (Tsukuyomi)
UraviMight (Dynamight)
UraviBolt (Chargebolt)
UraviRiot (Red Riot)
UraviPinky (Pinky)
UraviBird (Firebird, who is my version of Todoroki)
UraviTail (Tailman)
UraVis (Invisible, my version of Invisible Girl)
UravIma(Anima)
UraviCole (Tentacole)
UraviTi (Creati. Yes, the combined name is pronounced the same as Uravity’s normal name, I’m limited in how I splice the names together. This is a recurring I’ve faced))
UraviJack (Earphone Jack)
UraviJuice (Grape Juice)
UraviSuga (Suga, AKA, Sugarbot, my version of Sugarman)
Urav.S.T. (C.S.T., the abbreviation of Can’t Stop Twinkling, my version of Can’t Stop Twinkling)
For three and four bot combiners, whomever takes the center determines the name, as well as utilizing the phrase Plus Ultra.
Three bot combiner with Uravity Center: Uravity Plus
Four bot combiner with Uravity Center: Uravity Ultra
It does not matter who forms the limbs, only the torso or center matters.
For five bot, when Uravity takes the center position, the Five Bot Gestalt is named Uraviton, appropriately a reference to ‘graviton’ and her own name. When she forms this gestalt, it usually means she’s pretty desperate… or watched Deku fall in front of her in battle and her emotions are operating at extreme panic levels.
Let me know what you think of Uravity, because I have more of the Herobots drawn out with more in the works, and if you want to hear more lore going forward, let me know! Any criticisms or questions are more than welcome!
Creative work: My Hero Academia as Transformers
Hello! I didn’t know if original characters or custom character creations were allowed here, and if not, I apologize if this is the wrong place to post, but I wanted to share my concept and creative ideas for mixing My Hero Academia with Transformers!
I have come up with lore for them, but I’ll try to keep it short and summarized. There are 20 Autobots called Herobots, young bots that hail from the planet Technomicron, and were originally to be a division of law enforcement on Cybertron as rising hero type bots. Before they could finish their training in the academy, the Great War began, and when Cybertron had to be fled, Class 1A of the Herobot Academy went MIA. It was discovered long after the Autobots came to earth that there was a floating ship that was passing Saturn, out of fuel and shut down, and inside were the 20 missing Herobot cadets.
The Herobot’s were revived on earth and operate in Japan, and they learned their names coincidentally matched the human media characters from My Hero Academia, specifically Hero Class 1A, and chose to adopt the identities of the fictitious characters as their own and are proud of it.
The Herobots are triple changers as per their Academy requirements and upgrades, having a Robot, Vehicle and Beast Mode, and also were outfitted with combiner technology. This allows them to function almost like Multiforce, where any two Herobot’s can become a top/bottom two-bot combiner, but also as a three (torso, arms, legs), four (torso, arms, leg, leg), or five (torso, arm, arm, leg, leg) bot combiner.
Pictured here is Herobot Deku.
He once was just a common bot with no chance at meeting the herobot requirements until he encountered his idol, a legendary peacekeeping bot named All Might, and inherited All Might’s T-Cog and technologies. Deku is as loyal as they come, often seen stepping toward danger where most would flee, even if it means he might die. Able to use thrusters in his back to float, emit a purple smokescreen, and even use a magnetic green fluid like tendrils or limbs, he also possesses one of the fastest calculating processors, and this actually lets him detect incoming danger like a sixth sense up to twenty seconds before anyone else. That, and his raw strength in his pistons is top tier.
His vehicle mode is an ATV SUV, and his beast mode is a Canine, both of which can adapt to any terrain.
Deku’s two bot combiner forms, assuming he takes the top, are as follows. I should mention that the Two Bot names follow [TopBottom] splicing:
DekUravity (Uravity)
DekEnium (Ingenium)
DekRoppy (Froppy)
DekUyomi (Tsukuyomi)
DekuMight (Dynamight)
DekuBolt (Chargebolt)
Deku Riot (Red Riot)
DePinky (Pinky)
DekuBird (Firebird, who is my version of Todoroki)
DekuTail (Tailman)
DekuVis (Invisible, my version of Invisible Girl)
DekIma (Anima)
DekuCole (Tentacole)
DekReati (Creati)
Deku Jack (Earphone Jack)
Deku Juice (Grape Juice)
DeSuga (Suga, AKA, Sugarbot, my version of Sugarman)
Dek.S.T. (C.S.T., the abbreviation of Can’t Stop Twinkling, my version of Can’t Stop Twinkling)
For three and four bot combiners, whomever takes the center determines the name, as well as utilizing the phrase Plus Ultra.
Three bot combiner with Deku Center: Deku Plus
Four bot combiner with Deku Center: Deku Ultra
It does not matter who forms the limbs, only the torso or center matters.
For five bot, when Deku takes the center position, the Five Bot Gestalt is named All Might, as a nod of respect to his mentor who has been missing since Cybertron had fallen.
Let me know what you think, because I have more of the Herobots drawn out with more in the works, and if you want to hear more lore going forward, let me know! Any criticisms or questions are more than welcome!
Why didn’t the school make a custom costume for Toru like Mirio?
I know there quirks aren’t the same but We see mirio with his quirk being able to phase through walls and stuff but they made him a costume that worked with his quirk so why didn’t they do the same for Toru?
Hi guys I've been working on my new drawing named "The Chart Of Heroes " with 12 different animes main characters and yes tanjiro is in it and it took me one month to complete this art and I used colour pencils and for background I used oil pastels, how is it guys ?
