Should I get Robin sp or Hyacine for Mydei?

My current team for Mydei is: Mydei E2S1, Cyrene E0S1, RMC and huohuo. The thing is, i have ~100 wishes and no guarantee, but I can get 90 wishes from there and I have the pompom thing till WAven banner, and the patch will give ~70 pulls. (I don't know how much in the first phase.)

I want WAven, I'm pulling him, and I think i will use him with my Ashblade E2 (idk if he is better than robin at the end of beta tho, if she is maybe I should prioritize her)

But for my Mydei, I want either Robin or Huohuo.

Robin sp is a general support, helps cyrene's ult and provides good buffs for him. I dont have tribbie, just sunday, robin and sparkle, so she would be welcome at my account.

Hyacine, on the other side, is a great healer, and I only have huohuo as one. She can help cyrene's ult too, and people say her buffs of hp is good for Mydei (but i already heard she provides too much hp and thats bad to him...)

But since I'm limited, I can only try one banner at the first patch. If I win the first 50/50, I will try the second one. If I lose, I will wait for WAven, and the same if I win the first and lost the second. I need luck chat🥀 (when i got his e2s1 i only spent 120 pulls i need that luck again🙏🙏🙏)

So, based on my account, who would be better to get first (if i actually manage to get one lol)? Hyacine, or Robin?

So, Scholar or Navigator in the end

Some people said Navigator is his new bis and the others that the difference is little. So what's the verdict? How does it work for Mydei? I don't mind farming again as long as it's worth it.

Should I try to get SRobin?

My current team is:

E0S1 Mydei

E0S0 Cyrene

E0S0 Tribbie / E6S5 RMC (depends on the other teams I'm using)

E0S0 Hyacine

I played Mydei since his release and I've always tried to give him the best team possible. Right now though I can't manage to clear endgame content since I didn't invest much in this team and apart from some friends' gifts I almost never spend money on the game. I just pulled for Himeko Nova and I don't have many pulls nor a guaranteed char, so I wanted to ask what should I do now.

Should I try to pull for E0S0 SRobin?

Should I keep my jades and wait to get some Eidolons for either Mydei or Tribbie? (Cyrene just rerunned so I doubt I'll see her anytime soon)

Or is there any improvement I'm ignoring?

Like I said, I love Mydei and I really want to keep playing him in the future so I'm open to any advice you can give me. Thanks a lot!

Guoba's video on Robin Summeretto kit and recommended teams he gives for Mydei

He reccommends Mydei, Cyrene, Cerydra, Srobin or Mydei, Cyrene, Mblade, SRobin.

Just thought I'd clip the section of the video about Mydei and Srobin. Mainly Srobin is just a bonus rmc. I'd recommend to watch the full video if you're interested in pulling for her. No you def don't need Hyacine to run Srobin with Mydei. Its recommended to run srobin with Cyrene tho cause mydei usually wants Cyrene. Finally bought one pack of the chimeras that weren’t overpriced and had my partner choose the pack for me cause I always end up opening the female characters.

Here's a list summary of the buffs Robin Summeretto gives Mydei

How the true dmg and crit dmg is calculated is
crit dmg: 40% + (Vibes x 1.5%)
def ignore: 15% + (Vibes × 0.5%)

Max vibes has a max count of 50 at e0 and 70 at e2. Unsure of which teams Mydei reaches the highest max vibes count in most often.

Thoughts on when Mydei's second rerun will happen.

Just as the title says, as someone who is going to be saving until Mydei reruns to get as many Eidolons for him as possible, I am currently sitting at a comfy 149 pulls and have him both E1, S1, E2, S1 Cyrene, E0,S1 Tribbie and E0,S1 Hyacine so I have his premium team mostly locked down, I just want to make sure I get E6 first before I go for E1 Tribbie and E2 Hyacine.

Sorry I didn't mean to go on, anyway with this in mind when does everyone think he'll rerun and do you think he'll rerun soon because I've heard rumors that he could come in 4.6 but honestly I'm kinda hoping that he takes his time coming because that gives me more time to build up my Mydei funds and his first rerun didn't come for a long while.

But with that being said what are your thoughts fellow Mydei lovers? ^~^

Edit for context my E6,S1 Phainon is using my now E1,S1 Cerydra, E0, S1 Sunday and E0,S1 Sparkle so that's why Cerydra and Sunday are not on his team. They're locked into my E6 Phainon.

4.4 Anomaly Arbitration — Knight I

Setup: E1S1 Mydei / E1S0 SP Robin or Tribbie / E2S0 Cyrene / E2S0 Hyacine

I played this run in a rush, and both my Recollection handling and my opening rotation were pretty awful. Watching it back afterward, it honestly looks like I forgot how to play the game.

So this shouldn’t be treated as a rigorous benchmark, but it should still give you a rough idea of the team’s performance.
(The sustainless result is shown in the comments.)

Q: Why do I recommend pulling E1S0 SP Robin when replacing Tribbie with her is actually a downgrade at this investment level?

There are a few reasons.

  1. DDD is absurdly strong.

For this run, SP Robin can use Shadowburn to cover the Energy she is missing at the start of battle.

^(Thinking about it afterward, though, you can actually just wait until Mydei takes his first action before using Robin’s Ultimate, so under normal circumstances she can simply use Memory’s Curtain Never Falls instead.)

And yes: if you do not have Hyacine’s signature LC, Robin Skill + Hyacine Skill + Ultimate at the start still may not be enough to fully charge Robin’s Ultimate.

  1. Low damage environments undervalue part of Robin’s kit.

When the team is not getting hit very often, Robin gets less value out of the interaction between her action advance and Energy generation.

In environments with frequent incoming attacks, her contribution becomes more noticeable because she can significantly improve the uptime of Mydei’s Ultimate Taunt.

  1. Comparing Robin and Tribbie at exactly the same investment level is inherently unfavorable to Robin.

Robin has much more room for meaningful vertical investment.

More importantly, Robin’s Eidolons and signature LC are clearly a higher investment priority than Hyacine’s Eidolons and signature.

For example, in the setup above, if the two Costs currently spent on Hyacine’s E1 and E2 were instead moved into Robin’s E2 and signature LC, Robin’s advantage would become much more obvious.

Tribbie is the opposite: simply giving her signature LC can actually be a downgrade in many situations, because of what you give up by replacing options such as DDD.

So for most players, whose Hyacine is low investment, SP Robin is clearly the better target for additional vertical investment.

A couple of other points

  1. This is exactly why Hyacine is in an awkward position.

She cannot really be treated as a proper buffer slot. When she enters the team as the sustain, you are still sacrificing damage compared with a full sustainless setup.

If you already have things like E2 Cyrene and strong supports with meaningful Eidolon investment, and you are willing to accept that whenever sustainless is not viable you have to fall back on a healer with very little buffing power, then investing in Hyacine is an option.

On the other hand, if you value comfort and survivability, or if your Cyrene investment is relatively low, then Hyacine becomes a much better choice.

  1. SP Robin is not tied to running a sustain.

The sustainless teams:

Mydei / Cyrene / Blade / SP Robin
and
Mydei / Cyrene / Tribbie / SP Robin

should currently be among Mydei’s strongest mid-investment teams.

how are mydei e2 / e6 havers faring in endgame?

hi guys,

i have a question regarding e2+ mydei.

since i've been saving for e6 phainon as f2p for a little over a year, i didn't get to pull mydei on main. i have him at e0s1 on another account, but i'd like to know how he is doing with some more investment (as in e2+) because i'm considering pulling for him on main too.

what's his performance above e2 and would it still be worth it to save for a potential e6 mydei over a brand new character, considering he's over 1 year old himself and the meta is ever shifting?

i love mydei, i'd have teammates for him, i'm currently saving for cyrene's next rerun to get her e2 and her s1, and after that i'd like to get mydei too. but since he's pretty old, i understand that i am going to need some more investment on him if i am to pull for him.

i don't have any issue with saving since i've done that for phainon anyway, but i'm worried about saving for this long just for him to be struggling by the time i get him invested, since i'm going to ignore his potential new teammates until i get him.

so i'd like to have opinions from you guys. thanks in advance :)

edit: by endgame, i'm referring to moc/pf/apoc. i don't bother with aa and i don't care much for 0 cycles. i just want to get full rewards in those 3 modes and that ends here.

Very important question regarding next update, we all know Hyacine will rerun so what are your thoughts regarding pulling for Sumeretto Robin or Hyacine ? I am asking for everyone kinda.

But personally I am also asking for me as I have E0S1 Mydei with E0S0 Cyrene. Should I pull Robin as she's a universal support for many many teams as well, or Hyacine cause we currently have no better support for Mydei's team other than her rn ?

do u think hyacine will get powercreeped anytime soon or no because shes such a dedicated healer for mydei/cyrene?
