So to explain more thoroughly about what happened. Sean O’Connor was doing a preview video for one of our betas. We noticed something was off with the sound. We couldn’t tell if it was on his end or ours; we deep dove into the hex rom. To find out that the Base ROM that we had been using over the past couple of months had corrupted data. So we basically had to rebuild the Base rom from scratch that was the big delay. We are back on track now and should be seeing a release very soon.

Edit: also no one has claimed August is our soonest release date. We are still aiming for July.

Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 will always be my all-time favourite AKI wrestling game. Great gameplay and of course packed with a really good roster at the time. But I wonder what if the game had a bigger roster (including the All Japan wrestlers with their preset faces and ring announcer calls that were removed from the final build roster). I know there are some people who get crappy when they see people buying the physical games of like WCW Saturday night and the ECW houseparty game and even the wrestlemania X. With physical media pretty much coming to an end, that’s kind of why I like having physical copies in my hands. I don’t want people to think I’m being disrespectful to guys who make these free mods and me buying the actual physical version because I’m sorry I don’t have a computer. My laptop sucks. I like having physical games. I can sit there and go anywhere and play like if I’m camping then I’m bringing the little TV and my Nintendo 64 I wanna be able to play those games
