Dale Earnhardt Jr. ahead of Michael Waltrip during the 2006 USG Sheetrock 400 at Chicagoland. Waltrip's car carried no Dodge branding as he and Bill Davis Racing had both burned bridges with DaimlerChrysler, and would be introducing Toyota to the Cup Series the next year.
Who have your favorite NASCAR Cup Series Drivers been over the years?
NASCAR fandom has always been a tradition in my family. I can remember back as far as 1988, my favorite drivers being (in chronological order):
Bill Elliott
Davey Allison
Jeff Gordon
Tony Stewart
Kyle Bush
These days I don’t have a specific favorite, but rather a select few I can not stand to see win:
Joey Logano
Bubba Wallace
The ones I do cheer for most often are:
Carson Hocevar
Michael McDowell
Ryan Blaney
SVG
Ross Chastain
Give me your all time and current favorite drivers!

A peek back into 1991, a NASCAR store just outside of Baltimore, MD.
It was open 1991-1998. The first few years it did very well but sales declined as merchandise entered major retailers and Internet sales began. It was a great place to meet and discuss racing with other fans in what was considered a non-traditional NASCAR region.

The field all lined up on pit road for the 1976 Firecracker 400 at Daytona. On the pole was A.J. Foyt in the Hoss Ellington No. 28 Chevrolet, with Cale Yarborough in the Junior Johnson No. 11 Chevy beside him. Yarborough would take the win. July 4, 1976.
Happy Fourth of July everyone!

The 2000 Pepsi 400 at Daytona: Dale Earnhardt on the bottom with Dave Blaney (93) in the middle and Sterling Marlin (40) on the high side. Behind is them Jeremy Mayfield (12). Just entering the photo is the nose of Chad Little (97).
Jimmie Johnson in the Herzog Motorsports No. 92 on the outside of Geoff Bodine in the Cicci-Welliver Racing No. 66 during the Sam's Club Presents Hill Bros. Coffee 300 at Chicagoland. This was the only Busch Series win of Johnson's career. July 14, 2001.
Johnson is likely lapping Bodine in this photo as Geoff finished 23rd, 3 laps down. Jimmie only ever raced 2 full time seasons in the Busch Series, and only participated in a handful of Busch/Nationwide races after going full-time in Cup.
July 2, 2010. Dale Earnhardt Jr. wheels the no. 3 Wrangler car to victory at the Subway Jalapeno 250 at Daytona.
