My goal is only placements

If we order things on Flipkart, amazon, etc

Where do they deliver? Isn't the main gate too far? And what if we're in class then delivery comes??

I know its too early but is there any way that i could get connected to any alumni who had/is studying in m tech in foreign countries (It would help me significantly if i can contact any alumni before 3-4 semester that's why i am asking way too early )

When will they allot hostels for second year students

I’m trying to finalize my CCMT choice between NIT Rourkela (M.Tech VLSI Design & Embedded Systems) and NIT Kurukshetra (M.Tech VLSI Design).

If you had these two options today, which one would you choose, and why?
I’m only comparing these two institutes, so I’d prefer comments focused on this comparison.

Whats I have researched is: NIT KKR have good internships. And avg/median packages hover around 23~24LPA. Whereas NIT Rourkela have better brand name TIER-1, TOP-4 NIT. And good “ECE” median packages, sole VLSI isn’t stated.

Intra hall competitions show GDB -TT, badminton , cricket -sd,volley - sd/gdb

Facilities and people - GDB>SD> DBA>MSS>MV(MV is mostly matkas(m.tech))

Politics - ig I dont have to say about where the zone leads r staying 💀

I'm considering M.Tech CSE at NIT Rourkela, but I'm getting conflicting information about placements. Some seniors I've spoken to on LinkedIn say the average package is around ₹13 LPA, while others say it's ₹18–20 LPA.

Can any current M.Tech students or recent graduates share the actual placement stats, internship opportunities, and overall experience?

Also, if you had to choose, would you prefer NIT Rourkela over NIT Calicut, MNNIT Allahabad, or IIIT Allahabad for M.Tech CSE? What would be the reason behind your choice?

I have seen the faculty members and I must say they are very qualified, however, my concern is;

are they approachable? are they friendly?

Is the grading lenient or strict?

I got Engineering Physics on the 2nd round of Josaa, and i know its a new branch, should i be worried because of this?
