My course registration date was 17/08/2026. Unfortunately, I forgot about the registration and remembered it only on 18/08/2026. I tried to register for the course that day, and somehow, I was able to complete the registration successfully. I believe this may have happened due to a technical glitch in the registration system.

I have taken a NPTEL course IOT 4.0. Now I have kept my assignments update (submitted 5 of them) of the 12 weeks. Is it possible to cover the topics in 2 weeks to get a 90%+ score, as NPTEL is grade based in our college. Faculty is Dr. Sudip Mishra Sir of IIT Kharagpur

Hey! Does anyone know how to pay the exam registration fee for SWAYAM courses? Is card payment the only option? Do I need to visit a cyber cafe to register for the exam or can it be done myself? I'm new to this platform. Please guide.

But I wanna learn DSA in a way that I top in it and also build a strong foundation for starting competitive programming.
This is the first time I’m watching Indian-English content. I thought it would be good since it’s from IIT, but it’s so damn hard to follow without any context, like it’s overrated and they do not give even a little context of whatever concept they are using
What should I do😭
And what course should I follow to learn exactly the concepts but from a different and better source

I’d especially appreciate recommendations from people who have gone through a similar situation
I’m willing to put in the work,I just don’t want to spend months studying from a resource that I don’t understand

I made the exam registration payment at 12:04 AM on 14th Aug, today. It showed failed payment but the amount did got deducted from my account, I even emailed for the same to the nptel support email. I did attach the failed payment slip. What else am I supposed to do?? What do I do? Should I pay for the same a second time? If I make the same payment again I won't have any money left with me. I got a mail from NPTEL to fill the Google Form for willingness for the winter internship and I am eligible to apply. But in the google form there is a mandatory field which asks for "Please confirmed that you have informed my Head of the Institute/Department, or SPOC of NPTEL Local Chapter of my Institute to apply for the NPTEL Winter internship 2026. Kindly upload the duly signed consent letter here".

Now the problem is they didn't provide me any consent letter or NOC form to get signed from my college and I cannot find any on their official website. Am I supposed to make a generic form and get it signed by my HOD but most probably he will decline to sign it due to a lack of official authenticity. Please help me out guys ;(

So i registered for an nptel course 'Linear algebra through geometry' and i paid by scanning QR code..The first time i generated the QR code,i was unable to pay,for which i got a payment failed mail too .Then i reloaded it and payed with QR code a second time,which was successfully and i got a mail with transaction id and all that and it said that the payment was successful..But then when i checked the payment status,it said 'payment failed ' and then changed to 'payment in draft state '.

This was friday early morning and i tried calling nptel through the number given in website multiple times ,but they werent connecting and calls were being ended within a minute without it connecting.I also emailed them,but no reply. What can i do??

My college has alleged me to apply for two courses this semester

They are

1. Ethical hacking

2. introduction to llm

I have previously done social networks and iot.But due to sudden change of rules they are voided

Now am in my final year and the last date for payment is Tommorow and I don't have money to pay both

So please any body respond and suggest me that is easy to pass

Today is the last day to register.

So I was planning to register in introduction to machine learning - IIT KGP

Its of 8 weeks.

The assignment quizzes starting from week-0

And I've attempted them from week 3 onwards.

If I register will I be able to get the certificate and get a good score ( if I performed well in the proctored exam)??

I don't want to waste money.

So plz help.

And one more thing.

If anybody has given this exam does the questions mostly come from the quizzes or completely random?

I'm adult (~40) and cannot afford costly institutes like Calcutta School of Music or Western boards like ABRSM, Trinity, Berkeley etc. Does RBU has age limit for regular degree courses in western instrumentals? If yes, then are there other diploma or degree courses in the said domain? Orgs like Pracheen Kala Kendra Chandigarh or Sarbabharatiya Sangeet o Sanskriti Parishad does not have any course or curricula or exam in Western, up to best of my knowledge. and I searched NPTEL-SWAYAM but there isn't any. Many mant thanks in advance for any effort.

I want the one whose exam will be easier.

If anybody has given an exam of any of these before..Any insight would help.

This is my first time doing an NPTEL course and I registered for Programming in Java.

Is the exam mostly MCQs? Are the questions similar to the weekly assignments?

Also, do we have to write complete Java programs in the exam, or do they usually give you some code and ask you to find the output/complete something, like in the assignments?

And how difficult is the exam compared to the assignments? Is doing all the assignments properly enough to prepare?

Would really appreciate any advice from someone who has already taken the exam.
