This is why you lost your seat even if your mp is high --- PLEASE READ YAAR

I noticed a lot of people waiting for NUST lists don’t know this and there are many posts in which kids are still CONFUSED.

If you get a LOWER preference (e.g. 3rd preference) but are waiting for your 1st preference, you STILL HAVE TO PAY FEE for the preference you were offered. THEY WILL UPGRADE YOU ONCE YOUR NAME COMES IN HIGHER PREFERENCE.

If you don’t pay (FOR THE LOWER PREFERENCE) by the deadline, you can be REMOVED from the selection process, meaning you WONT BE CONSIDERED for upgradation to your higher preferences in later lists.

For example:

1st: Biotech

2nd: Environmental Science

3rd: Agriculture

If you get Agriculture first THEN PAY for it. If your merit position later gets you Biotech, you’ll be UPGRADED.

Also, if your preferences are across different schools (e.g. Computing AND Engineering), and you’ve already paid for one but later get the other, EMAIL NUST about transferring/adjusting your fee.

PleasE DONT SKIP PAYMENT JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE WAITING FOR HIGHER PREFERENCE.

if you don't get in higher preference, then you can continue with your lower preference program or refund fee.

Can we open up stalls etc?

So im thinking of like opening up a small stall as a way to support myself and ease off the burden of the huge ass fee and was wondering about policies regarding businesses(i.e stalls etc) inside nust.

What's the process? What are the rules n regulations concerning ts n all. Are there any students doing this stuff right now in nust if so whats ur experience?

Any helpful advice would be welcome thanks.✌️

guys take a break from merit lists and please help out a junior 😭

I'm super confused about how to prepare for NET-1 while managing college.

I want to ask some questions about joining a batch:

1)

are paid batches actually worth it? like Hashim zia, STEPS, KIPS etc. I want to stay consistent (+ want to know preparation structure because my mind gets messed up when I start practicing because there's just so many respurces)but I'm scared 3-4 hour daily classes will just burnout my 2nd year prep.

2)

is Hashim zia paid batch necessary or is youtube enough? if anyone took his paid batch vs just watching his yt channel/marathons, is there a big difference?

3)

if you think a batch is good which one would u recommend? and if you think I shouldn't join one how did u stay consistent on your own?
