I don’t know why my post got locked. I was just curious about what your assigned investigator went through on your social media accounts. Is there anything specific that they are looking for ?
Also the same post from a week ago that the MOD was talking about, the person who posted said they went through his photos and wasn’t really clear if it was personal photos or from their social media photos. I was just curious if they go through your phone or just the socials.
I have my mini med tomorrow. Also i have curls aswell and i use around 2-3 products. Will that be a problem? Should i not put any products on my curls until im finished with the mini med?
Hey sorry to ask a question that has been asked 1000 times, but when you meet your investigator do they only check your social media accounts or they go through your phone as well?
Also when doing the OralPsych I understand you have to answer truthfully but everyone on here makes it seem like that’s the worst part of the process and that they don’t want you to pass that part.
Is there a reason for that?

People that got their hire email or completed everything and are waiting for it join up.
I took the jst around april. It is going to expire in three months from what Ive been told and that day is going to be july 29. It literally expires the day of hiring. Should i retake it or no need?
If I buy back 3 years of military service, do I only need to work 17 years for the NYPD before I can retire? Or does it only increase my pension calculation rather than reduce the required years of service?
So word on the street at the academy is that there will no longer be a July class due to the Mayors new budget plan. Not sure how accurate that is but thats whats being said.
Hello everyone, so i decided to change my life for the better.. but i have a concern, i got my GED a few weeks ago and started doing sophia learning and excelsior university credit transfer to get the requirements for the nypd. The nypd says they need a GPA of 2.0 but ive never been to college and the credit transfers wont give you a gpa. Will this be a problem? Thanks

So I was reading the notice of examination for test 7311. It looks like a college degree is required for the NYPD. Am I reading this correctly or am i misinterpreting this?

I just received my acceptance letter ! I was exam 6316 list 10xxx then list number got changed to 5xx. I believe they are moving fast this week and a lot more ppl should be receiving letters this week and next week.

Hello, I was placed on medical review for cardiac. I am having a huge trouble finding a place that will take me to do an echo and stress test. How can i show them it is needed for the NYPD? They keep turning me down saying it’s not needed.
Had my investigator interview today and phone checked. Everything was good except a couple photos of me standing next to firearms and holding one. But these photos were taken about 2-3 years ago outside the US in my home country. The guy checking my phone asked me about it and said where was this and i explained everything truthfully and he said it shouldnt be a problem but had me fill out a 17b and took photos of the pictures. Just wondering if thatll dq me. Ive passed everything else just have mini med left

Would it be smart to leave NYPD if I know I’ll be getting a call from Nass au in the next few months? I will pass the physical and don’t have anything that would affect my process. I would go back to my nassau civil service ems job until I get into the nassau academy. I have a little less than 2 years on the job.
