NOOB QUESTION

my friend gave me this nzxt x63 280mm, and it wont fit 😅

my case is deepcool ch260, is it ok to use/mount it like this? will it affect the flow of the liquid?

EDIT:
you can move the bracket on the top side (on the right side) to fit the 280mm rad had to make adjustment on the psu tho.

I recently built a pc using the Kraken AIO and h9 case when I went to plug in the AIO to the fan controller there weren’t any slots. I’m kinda new to building so I don’t know if I’m missing something

I've been working on NZXT-ESC for quite a while now to give NZXT Kraken LCDs more customization than CAM currently offers.

It already supports things like custom layouts, system sensors, clocks, GIFs/videos, backgrounds, icons, shapes, and even Now Playing information (album artwork, track title, artist, etc.) from music playing on your PC.

Now I've added a fully customizable Audio Visualizer.

Just like everything else in NZXT-ESC, it's layer-based, so you can place it anywhere, resize it, combine it with other elements, and build your own layout instead of being limited to a single predefined design.

And this is only the beginning I already have a few more visualizer styles planned.

I have already made post here before about my 9800x3d overheating with almost new kraken elite v2 aio. As some of you suggested, i've replaced thermal paste, remounted cooler multiple times, put the fans and pump speed to 100%, nothing helped to solve issue with my 9800x3d hitting 95C! Finally i replaced it with different aio (8 years old master liquid 240mm) and no more 95c and overheating, 84C max under load now.

But it bothered me why almost new and expensive aio was not able to cool my cpu so i investigated little further and what i found was disgusting...

If you look closer there something growing inside the aio or whatever crap this is. Micro-fins are all full of it and restrict fluid flow so it makes sense why it wasn't able to cool anything.

It still won't explain why there is bacteria growing inside less than a year old aio? But it sure explains why there are a lot of complains about kraken elite v2, high temp and pump issues with these coolers.

Hello, I got this pre-built pc about 3 years ago. Please be patient as I don’t know all the vocabulary. The bottom fan started humming, and a friend told me just to tap it to solve the immediate problem. I think it’s about time I replace this fan, but after looking, the tapping has scratched or rubbed away the model number. If anyone could help me identify this piece so I can order and replace it, I’d greatly appreciate it.

It’s trying too overheat my cpu for the second time again…

I just refreshed my PC with new gpu, cpu cooler, psu what do you think?

The easiest case I’ve built in yet. I had the 011 mini v2 and all Lian li fans but the software crashed my computer and made games stutter so I had to return everything 😭 still very happy with how it turned out!

Pic 1: I have the rad front mounted with tubes to bottom of rad from the cap. This is the only way it’ll fit.

2: the mounting screws on the front of the rad are these tiny 1/8th in screws

3: the space for the rad and fans. on the right side (top and bottom) are where the screws screw through the frame into the rad. There are only these two tiny screws that the rad can be mounted into.

4: with the back panel taken off the case, that gap on the left side is my only way of screwing in the screws. I cannot fit my hand in that small of a space, nor have a screwdriver small enough to fit in there to tighten the tiny screws.

5: the rad is too tall and squishes / puts pressure on those cables and wires at the top right of the pc, as you can see there’s a small dent in the cable from when I tried to fit it in.

When positioning the radiator in that space, it can only be mounted via two tiny screws and slightly crushes that wire : cable at the top. additionally I find it impossible to screw it in due to the tiny gap in the back of the PC. Without disassembling the case using a 1/8th in drill bit and taking off the whole top/front panel and the corresponding rivets then replacing the rivets with a rivet gun, I see no other option here. any suggestions?

for context: I used to have a Kraken X63, it started to fail after 6 years of use, NZXT warranty still held up and I was sent this Kraken plus 280. maybe it’s just too big??

So I was couple hours away from the PC and when I came back I saw this on the display. When I turned of the NZXT CAM it shows 0 degree.

Also quite often it shows 0 degree on the display when I start the computer and it changes to some normal output after couple minutes from the start.

I could finally stop hearing the coil wire sound when my cpu get very high

So here is my problem with kraken elite v2 360mm (less than year old) i'm getting insanely high temps like around 60C idle and 95C+ instantly when i load occt or cinebench. Weird thing is i don't remember temps being that bad when i first got the cooler. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Things i already tried:

Undervolting cpu with curve optimizer -30, still hitting 95C instantly

Changed thermal paste, even tried ptm7950 = made no difference

UPDATE:

I took kraken elite out and installed 8 years old cooler master 240mm aio that i had lying around. Guess what, problem solved instantly, now 49-50c idle and 84C max on full load

Turns out nzxt is junk.

After 6 years of using AMD GPU's, and 4 years of being on my AMD XFX 6900xt Merc 319 Black Edition, it was time for me to make the change to the dark side! Yes I know the pricing of GPU's are astronomical but it was achievable. I built this PC back in January 2025 in preparation of getting a 5090, either a standard Astral or the FE, but since the white was the same price, it was a no brainer. Ordered it Monday on the 22nd of June and got it today on the 26th. The week has been torture lol.

PS: I know my AIO screen is upside down lol, it didn't align itself yet at this point in time.

Now being that it is my first Nvidia GPU, especially the 5090 variant, what should I be on the look out, download (besides MSI Afterburner and GPU Tweak III), test out, how to run it, etc.? I want to see what this card is capable! As well as prevent any issues.

Also, give me your experience, good and/or bad. Would like to engage with y'all.

My First Impressions:
This thing is, WOW, out of the box, before plugging it in, the size and weight of it is just wild.
I did a few before and after benchmarks on 3DMark, CP2077, and Black Myth: Wukong, starting on the same settings as the old card and seeing what the new card can do, and boyyyyy, it is a walk in the park! So far, its been around 66c and no fan noise at all(i know the Astral cards can get loud).
