I've been running a Blue Yeti since 2019 and spent hundreds of hours post-processing the audio and applying Fx for years and managed to get a sound i like most of the time, but still, the Yeti picks up my neighbours farts from so far way, of course.

I think the time has come for my Yeti, it been through hell, his anus (mini usb port) got obliterated few years ago by my friend so i welded the cable directly to che board inside, but lately i've been having lots of issues, he has many scratches, dents, poor guy, served me well though.

Anyways i want to upgrade, i am a very very light audiophile, i appreciate sound, i kinda know my way around it but still beginner level i'd say, i mostly use my mic for calls and occasional commentary videos, mostly for personal satisfaction, and i want a good sound.

I have a deep voice (male), sometimes kinda nasal, however i listened to many videos and i believe the Shure MV7X is what would sound the best with my voice (price wise aswell).

However i still can't decide which audio interface/mixer to match it with.

I need a mixer, i got two outputs, my headphones and speakers, and two inputs, one to my PC's mobo, one to my monitor (for videogame consoles), i want to be able to freely switch between them and listen to both audio sources on the same output.

And i need an XLR audio interface for the Shure MV7X,.

I did some research, saw that the Mini GoXLR software got discontinued so i digged some more and found out about the Yamaha AG03MK2 which is full hardware DSP which i feel like is nice?, it has all the ins and outs i need for the audio mixing but it's a bit more pricier than the Mini.

The Mini GoXLR looks definetly nicer, it has all the ins and outs i need and it has both hardware and software DSP (now please correct me if i'm wrong).

I'm not sure if there is any difference processing quality wise between them, i'm not sure which one to really get, the Yamaha has tons of bttons and stuff which i know nothing about and feels kinda complex, also it has +60db preamp while the mini has +72db.

I'm ignorant about audio interfaces so i'll need some guidance here.

Allora, di recente ho iniziato a collezionare carte di pokemon perchè sono un ludopatico di merda ma mi piacciono molto le carte sbrilluccicose.
L'unico attaccamento sentimentale che ho per pokemon è zekrom perchè avevo il giocattolino del mcdonalds del 2011 quindi non so quasi nulla.

Comunque, mai avuto console nintendo, presi un 3DS un annetto fa solo per giocarmi Monster Hunter 3U e 4U e non l'ho piu toccato praticamente, mi sono preso di recente una Switch 2 per recuperarmi le esclusive della SWC2 (quelle della SWC1 bene o male me li sono giocati aummaumma sul mio desktop insomma) e mi sta piacendo parecchio.

Niente, praticamente voglio imparare di più su i Pokemon, capire perchè è il franchise più popolare del mondo e poter dire di aver giocato a Pokemon, però non ho idea di quale pokemon.
Avendo comrpato di recente una Switch 2 pensavo a Scarlatto o Z-A ma ho visto e sentito che sono abbastanza una merda anche se Z-A non sembra malissimo, di quel poco che so, apprezzo molto le mega evoluzioni e so che c'è Mega Meganium che mi piace parecchio.

Dunque ho a disposizione anche un 3DS o Steam Deck OLED su cui accedere ai Pokemon più vecchiotti.

Ho bisogno di una guida che mi indichi dove iniziare con un bel giocone... ho provato Pokemon champions che non c'entra quasi niente con i videogiochi normali e sto essendo spaccato in qualsiasi partita, non ci ho ancora capito niente ma mi piace così, apprezzo la sfida e spero che anche i giochi "normali" di pokemon siano altrettanto spaccaculo

Usually "anime" artstyle characters and similar stuff is kind of a repellent for me but i find Khazan really pleasing to see.
I come from thousands of hours on all fromsoft's souls games, i did look at a couple of gameplay videos without spoiling myself much but i'm kinda worried about the build variety which is an important aspect on a ARPG, especially Souls.
I kinda felt like it was same-y throughout the whole game (quickly glanced a full game video), how is the build variety in this game?

Also a clever level design is an important aspect to me, i just hate long hallways with enemies filled in randomly just for difficulty's sake (looking at you Dark Souls 2), how is it?

Lavoro in un negozio di videogiochi, a quanto pare un paio di giorni fa è venuto un signore a dare dentro la sua PS2 slim con giochi, 1 dualshock 2 originale e uno 3rd party, però non le ritiriamo più quindi il signore a quanto pare ha deciso di lasciare tutto in negozio ed andarsene.

Oggi la mia collega mi racconta sta cosa e mi chiede se me la voglio portare a casa perchè altrimenti la buttano via (pazzi), ovviamente come farebbe qualsiasi persona sana di mente me la sono ficcata nello zaino immediatamente e portata a casa.

Ho passato un oretta a dargli una bella ripulita soprattutto ai controller lerci e schifosi, la console sorprendentemente gira piuttosto bene però si surriscalda, però qua fa già caldo di suo quindi credo sia normale insomma.
Lo ho aperto (senza manomettere il sigillo di garanzia ancora intatto ovviamente) e dentro è molto pulito, per sicurezza cambierò la ventola e i pad termali

Been working at a famous videogame retail for three weeks now, apparently when i was off work a couple of days ago a man came to turn in his PS2 Slim and some games but we couldn't do anything so he just decided to leave the stuff there.

Two days later, today, my coworker asks if i want a ps2 because otherwise they'd just throw it away (why the hell would they even do that), i obviously snatched it asap threw everything in my bag.
It's amazing, gave it some deep cleaning, it runs pretty good, it overheats but here in europe is really hot, i opened it up and it's surprisingly clean inside, i'll just replace the thermal pads and the fan to be sure.

Can't believe i got all of this for free

I can clearly see from the sides when it's enabled normally, when I turn on Maximum privacy protection the blacks get raised a lot it looks very bad and can still see most of the screen from the sides

Hi, i'm 20 and i had my first PSP when i was 3, then i got myself a PS3 when i was 5 and a pretty good desktop PC, while growing up i played on both PC and Playstation (then PS4 and then PS5).

I always wanted to get a nintendo console while growing up, seeing my cousin play on it was pretty cool and it looked fun however i never got it, and of course in 2017 i really wanted a Switch but never got that neither.

So basically i grew up with Playstation Exclusives, Monster Hunter, Call Of Duty, all sort of PC games, steam exclusives i always loved narrative heavy mature games and never felt interest in family party or platformers or "Nintendo" or TOO japanese games in general.

I will just leave my google sheets backlog that helps me keep track of my games here which has ratings as well if anyone really wants to know my general taste.

So, in 2023 i had a dream, i bought myself a Nintendo Switch and i was really really happy... i woke up and it was just a dream, so i said to myself, i'm gonna get myself a switch for real this time, i went to my PC made some researches and ended up getting a Steam Deck instead, which i love, i even ended up selling it to upgrade to the OLED model later on and i still regurarly use it.

However few days ago i had the same dream, the stupid nintendo switch (2 this time) that made me happy, i woke up and tought about it, realistically it's a bad purchase for me, let me explain.
Right now i have a really good desktop setup where i play mostly, i value graphical aspects and immersion (rtx4080 - i9-13900k - 32gb ddr5 - 32'' 4K W-OLED 240hz HDR monitor - Great audio system, Great peripherals and a PS5 for exclusives) AND i got a Steam Deck OLED aswell to play on the go the same games that i bought on my PC with cloud saving so it's seamless.
(I even got myself a Nintendo 3DS a year ago to play MH3U and to fullfill that little dream i had when i was little but after like 40 hours of Monster Hunter i still haven't touched it again)

Now, Switch 2 is expensive and nintendo is the worst most anti consumer videogame company out there, i really dislike them as a company and their games are never on sale and are expensive as fuck, and i'm not sure if i'm even compatible with their games because no way i'm gonna play most of the third party games on the Switch 2 instead of on my Steam Deck or Desktop (buying it only once), i'm taking about exclusives:
I played BOTW on my PC in some way, get me, after i think 50 hours i just quit it because i really have low patience with open worlds, it was really creative and all but it's just a sandbox playground which i'm not a fan of.
I tried Super Mario Odyssey which i actually liked, great gameplay, very creative and unique and most importantly very fun even if i'm not a fan or platformers.
I also tried Super Mario Wonder which i hated, idk, didn't click for me.

Now, no other games come to my mind right now but i'm really curious about The Duskbloods being a big fan of FromSoftware (Miyazaki), however i've been refusing to pay online subscriptions in console for years and that's a multiplayer game so i'm gonna need a subscription for that :/ .

I'm really curious about the detachable joycons, they look interesting to use, also it's way smaller and lighter than a steam deck so it's more portable, it looks nice, LCD display is a bummer but reviews say it's a good LCD.

So.. what should i do? Should i go for it and fullfill that dream knowing that i'm not gonna end up using it much or at all most probably or just try to forget about it because it's a really stupid decision?

Started playing GTAO in 2013 on my PS3 until 2017 or so and i have very fond memories about stunt races, fun modes, rpg vs insurgents, parkour modes, was basically doing only those at the time.
I recently restarted playing GTAO and i received only a couple of invites to such modes which lobbies that don't even get filled.

Why did these fun modes got so unpopular?
