My vote is Mira because she’s always banned (No screen time) and she along with osa made majority of rainbows gadgets (All the plot relevance)
With the release of Noor, an operator that has a counter towards shields in mind—along with the combination of Oryx, being the original counter to shields, and Clash, being crowd control—the question is, would now be a good time to introduce the Ballistic or Riot Shield to Thermite?
It’d be nice for him to have a shield, as he’s still the only hard breacher that has to manually walk up to the wall (besides the operators with Hard Breach Charges, and Maverick, to a degree).
It wouldn’t have to be a special unique one like “Le Roc” (Montagne) or the “G52-Tactical Shield” (Blitz), just a standard ballistic shield.
At best, maybe he could have the black ones Recruits had as a default (which is why the images are provided), which is really just the same one Fuze has just a different color. Similar to how most Nighthaven operators (and other ones, like Iana, Melusi, and even Oryx himself) had unique looks to their guns as their defaults.
I think the mostly glass/plastic/polymer looking riot shield would be cool too, but I think it’d be more disadvantageous (same reasoning with adding the images, but with the last ones).
Otherwise, personally—aside from Doc—Thermite has been probably my oldest true main since the beginning of Siege all the way back from the Open Beta. So I’d like a little bit of something for him. Frag grenades and/or Claymores would be nice again too, but that’s another thing.
I also just really miss using FBI SWAT Recruit, especially with the Ballistic Shield and M45 MEUSOC. (The GIGN Recruit with the Riot Shield was pretty good too, just not as memorable to me as they had a similar kit to Montagne).
The only thing I can think of having an issue with the riot shield and him (specifically) is the ITA12S secondary he has. I’m not sure how that would work with the shield, mostly animation wise anyway, unless they were to do a whole new one for him.
I suppose though he could hold it in his off hand then pump it each time. Or he does a one handed one where he drops it and racks it, then drop it again to put it back in his hand. Or they just put it out of camera when he does.
Besides that, maybe they could buff Oryx and Noor because of it. It could be beneficial for both sides in some way.
Of course, there are a lot of shielders now, which can be very frustrating to deal with. A full team can be used (Montagne, Blitz, Fuze, Blackbeard, and OSA), in fact, and this would add another, which could be a problem as well, even if there are plenty of counters, like trap operators, such as Lesion or Melusi.
I’d love to hear feedback and thoughts.

ive missed shots like this more than id like to admit could i get some advice for this shotgun?
The amount of times I’ve shot a zero cam and for some reason or other it gets botched is ridiculous. You have to destroy your cameras in those scenarios or your intel network gets bogged up. Let us pick them back up.
I don’t need a reload animation or anything special. Just let me pick my cameras back up.
Its estimated that 30 percent of high rank lobbies in siege are using some sort of cheats, input or otherwise.
I have to sincerly say, actually put the controller down. Use your skill or get the fuck out. Its a hollow achievement to cheat your way to the top. Some of us are litterally training this game just for dickheads like you to hold a rank you do not deserve because your using input, dma or whatever youre using. You are not as skilled as you think you are and i pray your account gets banned. I myself just played 2 ranked games against two different wall hackers and i have to say, what fucking joy is there in ranking up if it was not by your own skill?
I was playing Rainbow Six and started wondering which operators people hate the most or find the hardest to use, both on attack and defense.
For me, the attacker I hate the most is Blackbeard, while Dokkaebi is probably the hardest attacker for me to use. On defense, I’d say Thorn is the operator I hate the most, and Azami or Mute are probably the hardest for me to use.
I genuinely don’t understand how this game is supposed to be enjoyable anymore. I’m in Gold and it feels like every other match has somebody using some kind of aim assist, recoil script, XIM/Cronus setup, or some other bullshit.
You’ll watch somebody have absolutely ridiculous recoil control and instantly lock onto people, and then you’re sitting there wondering how the hell you’re supposed to compete legitimately.
The worst part is that it’s happening in Gold. This isn’t even supposed to be some insane high-level lobby. I’m just trying to play ranked and have a good time, but instead I’m constantly questioning whether the person killing me is actually legit.
At this point, I understand why people start thinking, “If everyone else is cheating, why the fuck should I play fair?” I’m not saying cheating is the answer, but Ubisoft is making legitimate players feel like they’re at a disadvantage for actually following the rules.
I just want to play Siege, improve, rank up, and have fun without wondering whether the guy who just deleted me is actually playing the game or running some bullshit behind the scenes.
Siege has gotten to the point where being a legitimate player feels like the disadvantage.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with something similar in Rainbow Six Siege.
I play exclusively on PS5. In January 2026, my Ubisoft account was compromised and someone gained access to it. While the account was compromised, it appears that the person used cheats, which resulted in a permanent cheating ban.
I contacted Ubisoft at the time, and they investigated the account compromise under a support case. Ubisoft accepted that the account had been compromised, restored my access, and lifted the cheating ban.
Around the end of August, roughly 6–7 months later, I suddenly received another permanent cheating ban mid match.
I have never cheated, and I have only played Siege on PS5.
I opened another appeal on 31 August. Ubisoft told me on 2 September that the case was being referred to their Specialized Team for further investigation. I then provided them with the previous case number and explained that Ubisoft had already confirmed the January compromise.
The appeal has now been sitting as “In Progress” for more than a month without any substantive response.
My concern is that the new ban may be connected to activity from the period when my account was compromised — possibly a delayed/retroactive detection — rather than anything I did after recovering the account.
Has anyone experienced anything similar? is there anything i should do or should i wait a bit more?

I find it really difficult when they fortify themselfes up there with 2+ players including an Azami.
It was easy back when you could cook grenades, just enter below them and frag them but now you can't do that anymore...
i think we should have to option to switch with it the normal version this might be me but i prefer this honesty
Was playing with a friend of mine yesterday and I was flanking the enemy team. I know my play wasn’t the best because there was a Finka in the next room over but watch closely and you’ll see Ace took 7 of the first 8 SHOTGUN SHELLS I shot into him (yes I know they were mostly into his legs but I was close and it’s a damn shotgun), then I reloaded a few shells and shot him at least 2 if not 3 more times in the chest and he still survived before the Finka shot me in the back and killed me. I don’t have this footage but my friend that I was playing with said that the Goyo on our team also shot ace with multiple slugs from his shotgun and he didn’t die to that either. Lmk what yall think.
