I’m a console player whose gotten into plat for the first time and I’m plat 2 atm and I’m having fun in ranked and as of late I’ve been frequently getting previous champs and current emeralds in my lobbies but WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?

I’m constantly getting cussed out for minor mistakes people just playing for guns nobody engages in strategy just gunfights.

And the amount of cheaters MY LORD ITS OUTTA CONTROL Cronus, Xim, Zen, Strikepack it’s everywhere I can’t play a single game without encountering a painfully obvious cheater

Is high ranks really like this? If it is I’m going to start longing the days I was hard stuck silver

“Same time tomorrow?” “Heard it all before” “Same post again?” These were the same posts that got dokk nerfed because the players complained enough to get her the nerfs she needed and we should do the same with snake because dokk still has a place in this game but snake literally goes against the games fundamentals. Droning? No. Map knowledge? No. Strategy? No. Game sense? No. Anything other than gunfights? No. All snake did was fuel this shitty tdm meta that siege is stuck in.

I don’t even know where to fucking start WHAT WAS UBISLOP SMOKING WHEN DESIGNING THIS SHIT?!

First for comparisons I’d compare Snake to someone like Nurse in Dead By Daylight because he breaks the fundamentals of the game like nurse does, droning is a fundamental of the game but what does snake do? Pull out his gadget and see EXACTLY WHERE THE DEFENDER IS AND THE DIRECTION THEY’RE FACING he can do this FOUR FUCKING TIMES BY THE WAY and JUST because his gadget makes a noise doesn’t make him balanced an EXACT pinpoint of your location and a sound que is not comparable AT ALL in terms of information.

He bought the vert grip to F2 because why?… F2 was a good gun with balanced recoil and then random vert grip???

Not to mention he has access to majority of the attacker gadgets which he can replenish by looting an enemy or teammate?…

Not to mention he removes the need for ANY game knowledge want to know if someone’s roaming? DEVICE! Want to know if you should wall bang? DEVICE! Want to play the game without engaging in anything other than gunfights? DEVICE!

And YES I CAN ban him which I DO but the fact that he’s SO broken that he’s almost REQUIRED to be banned every game is batshit crazy.

He should NEVER have even came into this game unless he gets nerfed HARD or reworked this op will remain one of the worst designed EVER introduced.

I’m peak Plat 2 so I may not be too knowledgeable of the game however I simply wanted to ask why do people ban and pick thatcher over Kali? Thatcher can be bandit/kaid tricked and Tubarao can make his life a bunch harder but Kali just uses her gadget and the bandits/kaids are gone and Tubarao will only delay rather than help fully counter and Kali can even destroy the Zoto canisters.

The only reason I can think of is the sniper may not be everyone’s fancy and choose thatcher to have a gun they feel better with.

I am a brand spanking new player (20 hours played) and I’m having FUN (Probably won’t last) and someone told me if I play for more than 100 hours there’s no point of return either way I LIKE THIS GAME but OOOOOO Samurai BOIL MY BLOOD

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM GOT ME SHAKING MY FIST AND STEAM COMING OUT ME NOSE AND EARS

THEY HAVE TOO MUCH STAMINA, TOO MUCH HEALTH, TOO MANY UNBLOCKABLES, THEY DODGE TOO EASILY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THEY ATTACK TOO FUCKING FAST AND THEIR VOICELINES ARE EARRAPE

Man I LIKE this game I LIKE facing Vikings and knights and outcasts (Fuck you juren or whatever the feather head asshole’s name is) BUT SAMURAI OOOOOOOOOOOO I CANNOT STAND THEM

Another thing I can’t stand (Probs just cus I’m new and lowk trash) IS PARRYING I can memorise combos and TRY to learn but simply timing an attack right to stop me! (git gud I know I know I’d assume it’s something I’ll stop hating with time)

Also AMA as a new player and I want to see how wrong or right my answers are‼️‼️

I saw a video that said back somewhere in the 1400’s-1500’s the average executioner would get paid about 5 shillings per execution which was comparable to the monthly wage of a skilled craftsman at that time but If 1 shilling was like a coin how did people pay for like 1 small good? I highly doubt something simple like an ale would cost a whole shilling, did people stack up on credit until they owed a shilling? Did they clip tiny pieces off of their coins and pay with those small pieces? Did they buy their goods in large amounts that would equal a shilling or two?

So I’m basically brand new to FH (10 hours played) and I’m honest to god struggling so bad which I assume is normal given I’m new but it still feels really bad however I still want to play because I love history and PVP games

One of the biggest problems I have is my player skill level in matchmaking is set to strict but I don’t think it’s very strict at all because the games I’m having the enemy team is getting 20-30 kills per person while my team is getting 10-15 (And I’m getting like 3-4 because I’m hot trash) and I’m currently reputation 2 on warden but I’m being placed against reputation 50-100s and I AM GETTING DESTROYED

Another issue I’m facing is I can NEVER have a 1v1 the main issue I’m suffering from is I can start a fight against one person (Which is something I already struggle with against) and then a second person or even a third flies in and I get turned into meat paste

Additionally I’ve been trying to learn combos in the training arena to get those “Unblockable attacks” but a big issue I’ve been encountering is enemies are blocking my unblockable attacks?… (I’ve had several moments where I pull off a combo and my character glows orange and then CLASH the enemy blocks my attack so much for UNblockable…)

I do honestly want to play this game because it is fun but I’m so lost with all the different characters and their bajillions of different combos (Also why is every samurai so op :/…)

What’s the best way to learn the game? The training arena? Throwing myself into the deep end? Watching videos? Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!

ITS THE FUCKING ACOG NOBODY PLAYED SENTRY BEFORE HE HAD TCSG AND ARUNI WAS LOWLY PICKED AT BEST AND NOW EVERY GAME BECAUSE OF THE FUCKING ACOG

Does Ubisoft not understand that if they remove acogs on some guns and keep them on others people will just go to those guns that have the fucking acogs?…

Personally I’d nerf Melusi by removing her impacts and decreasing the amount of slowdown her traps do by 30% and also decrease her traps trigger range by 15%

And then I’d buff caveria by making her footsteps actually fully silent (Not when running though) and increase her ability to 20 seconds

Lemme say this I have 20 vitality meaning I should have a bunch of stamina yeah? Well I do but it’s like the AI have 200 fucking vitality because can SOMEONE explain how this enemy WHO IS WEARING FULL PLATE ARMOUR AND IM WEARING NO PLATE ARMOUR SOMEHOW SOMEWAY HAS ENOUGH STAMINA AND SPEED TO CATCH UP WITH ME AND THEN CHAIN 4 FUCKING STRIKES

And don’t even get me started on the actual fighting I swear the AI have so much stamina it makes the combat just boring I don’t struggle with the combat but every time I get into a fight I find myself wishing it was over already because it’s 95% blocking and dodging and the other 5% is master strikes and actually hitting back

Adding to the combat for whatever reason when I have stamina I can shrug off attacks like nothing but the moment I’m out of stamina? Henry genuinely turns into butter and the enemies weapons get superheated to 5000°C with how much a single hit takes like just why?

And even more I HATE HATE HATE the tackle move like the game likes to tell you “If you’re outnumbered just run!” Yeah I could run… but only if it’s 1 person I’m fighting because the moment there’s 2 or more I’m getting tackled left right and my camera is flying all over the screen like a plate of jello in an earthquake as my stamina gets devoured

Is this a dumb take or nah?

So I only started on Deimos release so forgive me if I sound uneducated but this TDM meta needs to be put down one way or another and I’ve heard of a few other apparently annoying metas (Dropshot meta, deployable shield meta, lmg meta and utility meta are the few I’ve heard) but none of those sound nearly as bad as to what’s happening now

Every single fucking game I play ASH, WARDEN, DOKKAEBI, SNAKE and so much more bs

Secondary note: what the hell were they thinking removing ACOG’s from Defense? Sure they were like “we don’t want operators being played for their guns” okay… then why does Aruni dmr and tcsg and BOSG and more still have acogs? People will just migrate to those ops (I doubt with every piece of my mind that Aruni is played for her ability)

And lastly: Nothing in this game makes me rage more than when my teammates CLEARLY cannot take gunfights yet they proceed to play frag ops and die

I’m pretty new to the game and I was exploring the desert and found this huge canyon thing and I saw below looked like some old ruins so I built my way down and explored the ruins which had really nothing but a tunnel that lead into a cave and I was like “Damn this is cool” and it lead to this big area with stairs leading down and a single coffin in the middle and I thought to myself “Must be some kind of unique item in there!” So I killed the surrounding zombies searched the coffin aaand… some rotten flesh a few sewing kits and some paper…. Wow and I thought to myself “what the blazes was the point of hiding it and making it so mysterious if it just had loot I could find anywhere?” I feel like if there was unique one of a kind items in this game (Not sure if only one tazas axe can spawn) it could incentivise exploration and looting more
