First drones with new Eurorack system including Elmyra 2

Used Scrooge to trigger Elmyra’s gates and somehow ended up with this weird groove

Been experimenting with using Scrooge less like a drum machine and more as a rhythmic gate source.

Here it’s triggering the gates on Elmyra 2, while I’m also running Scrooge through Elmyra and distorting it. DarkSky is doing the huge spacey stuff on top.

There’s no kick and not really a conventional drum pattern either, but somehow the whole thing started grooving.

Someone compared it to Jeroen Tel’s RoboCop 3 soundtrack on the NES, which I can kind of hear now 😅
