We’re on Burling Lane and our building lost power about 10 minutes ago.

My wife has been telling me about the cold water smelling like grass. Has anyone else experienced this recently? My wife thinks she is going crazy because no one else in our house is smelling it. She also says the water feels different when taking a shower or drinking from the Brita (Yes, the filter has been changed).

Looking at apartments in New Rochelle - but a lot of them are valet parking which is very concerning to us. Can anyone give some insight on how their experience with this has been?

Specifically interested in The Leaf, but the valet parking was a big drawback.

Would appreciate any feedback on this experience or if there may be any other 24/7 parking options nearby

New Rochelle has become soooo expensive … born and raised here and now I can’t afford a thing …
Seriously deciding on applying to live in Parkside Place Apartments because it’s supposed to be an affordable living apartment ..

And I just feel like all these new apartments that they built … I’ll never get picked for ..

Looking to rent in the area. I’ve heard mixed reviews from new luxury buildings but i am looking for one that’s quiet, cool amenities, and responsive/pro-active management. I’m not solely relying on metro north for transportation but it would be nice to be nearby.

does anyone know why there's fireworks going on every night?

Are there any nice spa hotels (offers e.g facials, message, sauna, aromatherapy,) close by that could make a nice weekend getaway gift, alternatively further up north (in NY)? Comfort and relaxation, would be more important and appreciated than a scenic view, outing opportunities, I think.
