Hey everyone!

Our monthly Westchester Reddit meetup is back — Friday, October 16 at 7:30 PM at Wolf & Warrior! We’ll have name tags so you don’t have to ask everyone’s usernames.

Who we are: a laid-back, diverse crew of Westchester County locals (plus folks who work in the area), mostly early/mid-20s to early 40s. All genders welcome — regulars and first-timers alike.

Come grab a drink and some food, meet some neighbors, and hang out. Make sure you support this business the night of as they have hosted us for many years! We’ll have water available in pitchers for all those that don’t imbibe or want to refill their water bottles. Hope to see you there!

Westchester officials are warning people to be on the lookout for a possibly rabid coyote after the animal attacked a woman, biting her ankle. The woman is now being treated for possible rabies exposure.
The attack took place on Wednesday evening, Sept. 23, on the Old Croton Aqueduct path near Warburton Avenue in Hastings-on-Hudson. The potentially rabid coyote remains on the loose and has been seen in Greenburgh over the past few days, officials said.
Westchester health officials want to hear from anyone else who could have come in contact with the coyote, which is described as large and aggressive.

Ms. Atila has been charged and arraigned on the following:

Local Facebook pages I follow keep talking about these large (Caribbean?) festivals going on at Brush Park and controversy around them and something with the mayor? From what I know it’s a park for kids with a playground. It seems like a really weird location for a big festival. I’m sure it’s fun to go to but wtf is going on there? Shouldn’t they be doing this kind of stuff at the County Center? I’m out of the loop on this one and the MtVernon sub is super dead.
