I've been thinking about doing an exhaust upgrade to my Ninja 500, what brands/recommendations should I look into that won't break warranty. I know slip ons are a thing but I'm not fully sure if I wanna go that route.

Bought a used ninja 500 yesterday and I’m noticing both the low and high beams are aimed extremely low. With the high beam on it extends maybe 30-40 feet out at most. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue? Tried playing around with the adjusters and it hasn’t done much. The headlight assembly is mounted properly, nothing is bent.

What kind of spools and stands work best for these bikes?

I'm bringing back my '26 Ninja 500 SE for a 6000km oil change to the shop and i was wondering if they will make a fuss about the my aftermarket parts. I'm not really worried about be windshield, but kind of nervous about my slip-on (LV Eno Evo), don't want to lose my warranty because of it.
The shop is a certified Kawasaki dealership, where i bought the bike from.

My local dealership is quoting me $400 for the 600 mile break-in service (including full synthetic oil), which honestly feels pretty steep.

I bought a 2025 Ninja 500 ABS from them at the end of May, and they’re the only authorized Kawasaki dealer anywhere near me. I don’t want to risk voiding the warranty by skipping anything important, but $400 for what I thought was basically an oil change + inspection seems kind of crazy.

What did you all pay for your first service? Did you go through the dealer or do it yourself?

Edit: I'm going to do it myself: Motul 7100 , hiFloFiltro , crush washers, and cotter pins just in case

Just like the title says, I plan on taking a 4 hour day trip to Los Angeles later on this year (I don't have a set date yet) on my completely stock Ninja 500. I was planning on taking a weekend and just trying different restaurants and thought it'd be fun to make a motorcycle trip out of it. For context, I have less than 6 months of riding experience and only have this bike and a 2002 Honda Shadow that isn't running at the moment.

Anyone have any tips and tricks? Gear I should buy? Maybe I'm overestimating what my skill level can handle? Maybe some food spots to add to my list?

So I just got my first bike a 06 ninja, and I am wanting to do all the work I can myself. What kind of tools and equipment should I be looking to get? I would also like recommendations on materials to stock up on.

Can someone tell me a good phone mount for my 2026 500 w/abs? I ordered the traditional one that goes around handlebars, but I don’t have circular handlebars, therefore it won’t work. TIA
