So, I live in Jammu and the results for counselling aren't out yet but according to past year data I can get IIIT Una and also NIT Srinagar, both CSE (I am not doing anything except CSE or MnC, They are my interests, genuine interests).

My parents are concerned about my safety in NIT Srinagar so they are saying that IIIT Una is a better alternative - Fresh air, safe and just better.

So please tell me... Which one should I choose? I even have a friend of mine already in NIT S and I asked him and he said that he faced absolutely no problems.
