Touchless TSA and SWA

I primarily non-rev with SWA but am not an SWA employee. I use MYIDTravel to book and input my KTN, but there is no where to add the RR number or anything else. Once booked, I can add the RR number on the SWA app and any other details I want. That all said, I have scanned my passport and the other steps, opted in for Touchless but never see it on my boarding pass. Is there a trick to it? Does it not work for non-SWA non-rev? Any help would be appreciated. I have clear but would be nice if Touchless worked as well to provide another option on busy days.

Question about R2 Standby on MyID Travel

Hi everyone - thanks for allowing me be apart of this community.

I was recently added as a travel companion to my friend who is a pilot using MyID travel. However, we recently learned that I cannot book any R2 Standby tickets alone - he must be on the booking with me as well. When I search for flights with myself selected only, I get no results.

Question - if I book flights for the two of us, but only show up to the airport myself and only check in myself, is this a valid workaround? Will I be able to standby alone, and receive a refund for his unused standby ticket?

We live in different cities so unfortunately if not, the flight benefits will be useless for me as we can never really fly together.

Thanks!

British Airways - beneficiaries question

Hi all -
Question for the BA folks here.

I am a former OAL employee however am also on BA staff travel.

I understand there’s a website (my.baplc.com) that I can allegedly see onloads. I go in to click the “I’m not a BA employee” link but the site seems to be broken?

Has anyone else seen this? I’m not sure if I have the ability to see my booking (once my BA employee friend pays for my ticket). I seem to remember we could before but not sure if maybe the website is down?

Thanks!

What’s your “too risky” number when nonrevving?

I know it depends on a lot of factors (e.g., starting at home vs. trying to get home, your priority, etc.), but seeing standby lists that are a mile long with negative availability always baffles me. Of course there is always a possibility even in those situations, but just curious to know when you tend to call it quits.

The OpenGate website

Folks, the new website by u/opengatetraveller needs alot more feedback. Please post this website in your FB, Insta, Tiktok or whatever social media you have so that they can get LOTS of feedback to help make this website a solid interactive tool for us when we are nonrevving!
