An expensive food tracker?

Tried the premium Noom experience in the app and after a few days of diligent exploration and use, I have to ask:

What does Noom provide, exactly, outside of a very expensive way to track calories and keep a person organized? I feel like, having gone all over the app, there’s not a lot there applicable to me. Is it just a user/service mismatch? (E.g. Nothing in the lessons is particularly eye opening. Drink water, get adequate rest…) I’m baffled at this what with the reputation Noom has for being proper good, non-fad health support. What am I missing?

Green replacements for coffee creamer ☕️💚💚

Hi guys! I’m new here! I just got on noom 2 weeks ago while on vacation. I’m at my heaviest. I had 3 kids and compounded that weight gain and then lost some after my last baby.

Stare (not that it should matter)
But I’m in my early 30’s, 5’3” and 189lbs.
If any ladies on here wants a boom buddy I’m down! I do have 1, my cousin is the reason I joined. She messaged me saying she needs someone to keep her accountable.

Anyways for me my biggest problem starts at breakfast. I love coffee. I make a Quad Shot Americano and add 5tbsp of chobani coffee creamer every morning. 🙈 it’s so yummy but so bad i know. I need to find a replacement that is creamy and not chalky.

I love coffee yes, but I’m here to get healthy.
I need to lose the weight. The truth of my family’s health history has been coming out and it’s compounding. The risks for heart disease, heart failure, cancer, diabetes, etc is really high and that’s my motivator. My goal is be like my grandma and reach my 90’s and be able to sit around with my gal-pals and say whatever I want and do whatever I want… and at my current rate i won’t make it.

Soooooo
What all do you guys put in your coffee??!

Pls fix the app re Noom medical etc

I’m all on board Noom right now. But I do NOT want to keep watching and be told to try micro dosing. I chose NO. Pls alter your app so that we’re not constantly bombarded with it. If I choose to do so at a date in the future, I’d rather download a medical noom app. Pls stop the push!!!!

First Delivery / What Time of Day to Take

How long from “approval” did it take for you to receive your first vial?

Is it better to take the dose in the evening before bed, or in the morning? (I signed up for micro-dosing, if that makes a difference.)

Beware of Noom if you're only *thinking* about trying it

I'm in the middle of perimenopause, gaining the weight that comes from this time of life and during one of my many sleepless nights, checked out Noom hoping that it would help me lose weight. So I signed up. It that required me to provide a credit card and despite the fact that I still needed to visit with a doctor and have a prescription made for me didn't think they would charge me until that happened. I changed my mind a few days later after reading the side effects and despite not having spoken to one of their doctors or having a prescription sent to me, they still charged me $129. I went through cycles talking to someone over the course of two months believing I would get refunded but in the end lost the money.

Pls fix the app!!!

I have no idea what’s been going on this past week but still it’s so buggy. Pls fix it! This is a heavily app-based endeavor so if the app itself is glitchy, we’re going to fall away! Pls fix!

Discouraged after 1 month

Goal is to lose 15 pounds. BMI = 24.6. BMR = 1,250. During the first three days, I "lost" two pounds (assumed it was water). Since then, my weight has plateaued -- down a few ounces, up again, back down again, back up again.

I'm measuring everything, keeping calories within the range, staying within yellow and orange percentages (mostly eating green), exceeding activity goals except for one day. Took one treat day (and even then ate fairly healthy).

Would love to hear from others who experienced the same and went on to meet their goal.

Beware of iOS update!

Beware! Today’s iOS security update (26.5.2) breaks the Noom app, rendering one unable to log dosage properly due to the app timing out and not responding. I hope Noom fixes this, stat!

EDIT: This appears to be an issue with Noom’s servers, as users not on iOS are experiencing this as well. 😡

Re-downloaded Noom after ~3 years and it’s giving Duolingo levels of desperation

I have only had it back on my phone for a few hours and already had a ton of notifications and seed things. It’s too much. I liked the program before but I don’t think I can handle all that mess. Any good alternate recommendations?

My sense is that they jumped the shark (the shark being an actual supportive and healthy weight management and health tool), which is really too bad.

Stomach Issues

Been on a max dose since January 2026. Last two shots I’ve had sulfer burps, diarrhea, and vomiting. My PCP says I need to take a break and switch to the tirz. Anyone else have bad gi issues and switch?

what do I use?

Hi all, I am trying to figure out what I should use to inform my meals. Macros or colors? I noticed I keep going over in colors but have macros grams leftover for certain categories.

I am on a postpartum weight loss journey and over 6 days of meal tracking I lost 5 lbs. mostly fluid retention I assume. But I really want to recomp my body. Which is why I am trying to understand this macros thing.

Vial losing effectiveness with time? Microdosing

I know that after 28 days we are reccomended to throw away the semiglutide vials as they can degrade effectiveness and we also do not want to introduce bacteria. But has anyone noticed a huge difference moving from an opened, used vial to right when you open a new one? I knew there would be some degradation in effectiveness since I’ve been trying to stretch one of my vials out a little longer. But I didn’t realize I would notice such a difference. I thought maybe I was getting used to the medications effects but I actually just think my vial truly did lose potency.

Help me find this art piece

A couple weeks ago when I was going through the Mindfulness Art Break on the Noom app, I came across a picture of a woman sleeping next to a cat in a colorful bed. I haven’t been able to get it out of my mind since!

I’ve googled and googled till my thumbs are blue. It’s not Renoir or Władysław Ślewiński. I seriously cannot find it at all. I’m kicking myself for not saving it back then or writing down its name. Help!
