I currently live in the province, and I was recently offered a teaching position at a university in Metro Manila with a rate of ₱700 per hour. While I’m grateful for the opportunity, I’m honestly hesitant to accept because of the high cost of living in the city. Rent, transportation, food, utilities, and other daily expenses can add up quickly, and I’m not sure if the compensation would be enough to maintain a comfortable and financially stable lifestyle.

For those who have moved from the province to Manila for work, do you think this rate is worth it considering the living expenses? I’d really appreciate your thoughts and experiences.

Finally after 6 mos of looking for a job I received a JO, but this one is not working bedside. I am torn if I will accept this work or not, I’ll be working as a Med Rep, Is this compensation okay or justifiable?

Basic Salary: Php 18,000

De Minimis (Transpo, Meal, Comms): Php 7,500

Commission (Training): Php 250 per case

Commission (After Training/Solo): Php 500 per case

HMO: Available after the 6-month probationary period

Incoming bsn freshman here and kakainterview lang kanina. Napadaan sa bsn classes and halos lahat sila naka ipad at nagsstudy for something hahaha. Ano po mas better for bsn po. I own a basic pc napo if that helps

mag aaugust na and may mag tatake na uli and yet unemployed padin ako. 🥲 submitted sa halos lahat ng hospital and yet no callbacks, so I guess it's a sign na mag wait nalang uli kelan mass hiring dahil halos lahat naka freeze hiring na mga hospital 🥹

I just wanted to ask if passing nclex is possible while working 6 days 10am-7pm as an aesthetic nurse and helping out to reply in social media?

just the scope of the job, and how exhausting it is? would i still have energy to study maybe atleast for an hour everyday?

hello ngayon lang ako natapos for medical since malayo ako sa bgc. sinagutan ko na din yung gforms for pre employment requirements including yung id picture and uniform measurements. sinabihan din ako ng ahc na icontact ang hr contact person ko and i called them naman din. kaso class c ako sa peme. may chance pa ba mapprove? usually ilang days after peme yung final approval and cs?

do you think po I will land a job in hospital setting sa foreign countries if I am a psych nurse? I have an offer po kasi sa isang psych facility sa province namin and willing to relocate since may house kami doon. But iniisip ko lang if magagamit ko ba yung experience ko as psych nurse if ever pumunta ako sa US and work at hospital there.

Sa mga kasabayan ko po na waiting din may idea ba kayo kailan ang next CS? At ano po kaya other benefits nila?

Hi, I am 25F and working for 2 years as RMT(Registered MedTech). I want to work abroad, US sana pero hindi na ata masyado in demand ang MTs don and freeze hiring yung mga agencies ngayon.

Is it still worth it to study nursing and pursue working abroad?
Supported naman ako ng parents if ever mag-aral ulit. Medyo natatakot lang ako na baka hindi na in demand and nurses pagka graduate ko and about sa Visa retrogression and H1B fees.

Previous attempts:
I tried applying to government hospitals for better experience and better pay as an RMT. Kaso either rejected or ghosted.

Nag-inquire na ako sa diff schools about nursing as second course. Credited minor subjects pero 4 years pa rin.

Nung nag-interview na po kasi sa school, na-point out po nila 'yung nearsightedness ko 🥹 bsn po kinuha kong course pala... May grado po mata ko pero I can still see naman po, blurred lang po talaga kapag sobrang layo (nacocorrect naman po siya ng eyeglasses)

hi po! i'm planning to apply sa St. Luke's BGC and based sa mga nababasa ko dito parang ang tagal ng waiting time. totoo po kaya? i have work expi na po and balak lumipat ng St. Luke's to have expi naman with a JCI accredited hospital.

sa mga nurses po ng St. Luke's, gaano po kayo katagal naghintay bago magstart ng day 1 sa St. Luke's? and normal lang ba talaga sa St. Luke's na medyo matagal yung hiring process?

hello po! i’m a november 2024 passer but magsstart pa lang na magwork bedside. i’m planning to take BLS/ACLS trainings before applying sa hospital. is ASHI widely accepted po sa mga hospital? i find AHA accreditation pricy kasi. planning to apply sa mga private hospitals po. tyia!
