Fresh RN ako, nag-apply ako sa isang hospital tapos tinanong ako during interview kung straight ba ako. Sabi ko hindi. Nung una okay lang sakin, pero after ko hindi matanggap, napaisip ako HAHAHA. May kakilala kasi ako na kakapasa lang din, straight, kakapasa lang ng resume pero natanggap naman.

Baka trap question pala yung “straight ka ba?” HAHAHA 🤣 Hindi ko naman sinasabing dahil dun kaya ako hindi natanggap, pero napaisip lang talaga ako. Normal ba talaga itanong yan sa nursing interview?

As the title says, is a full sched of sunday to saturday normal? This includes clinical duties, skills lecture, separate lectures, minor/elective subjects, and course enhancement.

This is a genuine question since I don’t usually read or hear that other colleges or universities implement this kind of schedule. I know that it’s natural and inevitable for student nurses to have a hectic sched but is a full week with no rest day normal?

I would like to know your thoughts about this kasi baka naman oa lang kami.

PS: changing colleges isn’t an option kasi nasa province lang po college namin and this is what most of the aspiring nurses here can only afford.

Enough na po ba yung 30k na salary 25k basic and 5k allowance for abc nurse considering na i’m from bulacan and pampanga yung clinic? 8-5 rin po ang working hours. Any advice how to budget or kulang sya? Thank you po

Hi kaka pasa ko lang po bilang RN(August2026) and bukas may interview ako bilang community health nurse (from LGU) 1500/day ang salary and sat & sun walang pasok. Kukunin ko na po ba? Or magtry parin ako mag apply sa mga hospitals?

Grabe!!! Until now di pa din ako makapaniwala na nakapasa ko HAHAHAH. Parang dati lang pumupunta ko dito sa reddit non, nag tatanong ako if kaya ba pumasa ng self review kasi nga wala kong pang review center. And yeah i passed! Gusto ko lang din gamitin tong post na to for the future takers na mag seself-review dahil wala silang pang review center and nag woworry. At least pag search niyo, ito may lalabas na HAHAHAH. Use this post guys as your guide na kaya, kaya natin makapasa kahit na self review lang, i mean hindi hindrance ang financial para pumasa.

Ayon gets na gets ko kaya if your doubting and natatakot kayo guys kasi naranasan ko yan. I think after graduation namin non (July) humabol kami for August PNLE kasi nga sayang yung taon na pwedeng itake as experience eh diba. So yeah kahit medyo doubted ako non i decided to take pa din, sabi ko mag tetake ako. Ayon walang pang review center kasi naubos na pera pang bayad sa balance non sa TF sa school lol. Inisip ko non kung kaya ko ba, or mag February na lang siguro ako.

I remember na burn out ako non as in, since self review ka, hagilap ng sources dito, doon, diyan. Di ko alam saan ako mag sstart non, anong resources gagamitin and so on. In short hiling hilo ako non saan hahanap. Hanggang dumating sa mahigit 3 weeks na lang yon before board exam. And from there, parang nag start na ko sisihin sarili ko HAHAH nag ddoubt na ko niyan na bakit kasi inuna ko gumala, lumabas, puro tulog tulog. ANG HABA NA PALA HAHAHA CONTINUE KO SA COMMENT.

I passed pnle last nov and passed nclex. I started bedside nursing around june at nakakasawa siya teh hahahahahaha paulit ulit yung ganap. Meds,VS, charting, carry out. Eme pa ng mga kasama hahahahahahah. I mean I don’t really mind yung mga kasama ko its just that paulit ulit siya. Sabi nila marami ka matututunan pero parang sa 1st month lang then that’s it. Marami pa duon mga almost 1 year na kabatch ko litong lito pa rin mag ivf and meds computation. Kainis. Wala ayun lang pinagiisipan ko na magresign and maghanap ng ibang work. Marami rin namang offers saakin . Or baka sa ward lang talaga ganun. Gusto ko kasi talaga ng ER or OR especially may mga time na nafloat ako ron sobrang enjoy ko ron pero sa ward parang robot lang and nagkakaroon ng complacency. Ayun lang. tenks

I got hired as a hemodialysis nurse kanina. I passed the board exam last Aug-Sep 2026 PNLE. Any advice or thoughts po huhu still deciding if iaccept koba sya.

•Is 24k a month is reasonable? 6days a week ang duty.
•Free dialysis training but need mag bond for 3 years (parang natatagalan ako sa 3 yrs huhu). Tho its my long term goal pero may mga what ifs pa din ako like my co-workers or the environment kaya di ako makapag decide.

Im asking for your opinion din po since baguhan lang din talaga ako and no experience at all.

Hello peeps, ask ko lang kung pwede kaya magpaappointment na for certification of passing/rating then isasabay na lang sya sa pagapply ng license after oath taking? Possible kaya mahonor paden yung appointment kahit lagpas na sya sa nakaschedule? Thankyou!

I recently just graduated and am a PNLE board passer this yearr, and I'm about to take an oath this Oct 13. Sooo, while waiting i secretly did a few interviews in BPO companies to try, but unfortunately I did not make it.

Here it is.. everytime na yung mama ko sasabihin, kapag nagtrabaho ka na ikaw magbabayad ng ganito ganyan, ikaw nag mag grocery, etc. Meron pa, bigyan ko daw sya 2k sa pag alaga ng aso (which is gets naman kasi sya mostly nagpapakain and naglilinis ng waste ng aso ko) pero hindi sya yung nagpapaligo and naglalabas, kumbaga share ng work naman kami—ako nagpapaligo minsan, si papa madalas kasi sa kanya lang tamed yung alaga namin. Ako rin naglalabas kapag may time.

Sa tatay ko wala naman ako naririnig tulad ng sa nanay ko. Everytime na oopen up ni mama yung about work, naiinis ako. Nakaka-pressure eh.

Sa studies, during review season, wala akong pressure. AS IN. Gets ko rin naman na from start to end, pinagtapos ako. Si papa ko ang nagbayad ng tuition and baon sa school and si mama, sa pag asikaso sa akin kapag papasok.

Honestly, pinag-pray ko talaga na makapasa ako kasi I dedicate this to them. Then after passing the boards, doon naman ako na-pressure.

I was thinking, hindi nga man lang nag-ask mom ko if okay na ba mga SSS, NBI clearance ko, and other requirements na need for work. Likee, wala pang oath-taking ayon agad naiisip nya. Binibigyan agad ng obligasyon e HAHAHA. :((

Hindi ko lang din maiwasan na compare sarili ko sa pinsan ko, kasi s'ya hindi pressured na magbayad sa bills nila. May mga kapatid naman ako, 'yung isa may asawa na so hindi na sya tumutulong dito sa bahay, isa wala pa pero planning na yata. Parang ang rule sa bahay, kapag nakaasawa ka na hindi na tutulong sa bahay hahsh. Edi ako sinasabi ko talaga na mag-asawa na lang din as my rebutt HAHAH.

Kidding aside, i really do have plans to help them naman. It's just that i have feeling na akala yata nila ang taas ng salary ng nurse na fresh graduate at kakapasa lang. Also, ang hirap mag apply atm if walang backer.

Here's my question, am I being petty and resentful? Am I too petty for it? Is my mom's behavior normal lang?? What can u say?

Anyone here working as a nurse in UMC, I’m planning to apply. Nagre-require ba sila ng ACLS/ BLS cert, or meron na ba binibigay yung hospital during pre-employment?
