Annihilation Weapon Scroll Hold?
I held the scroll because it was crashing hoping it will go up after a few months. Now it dropped to 17m. Should I sell or hold for a bit longer?

It maybe just a rumour but is it true that there are going to be some dragons in Raids 4? If so should I invest in Extended Antifire (4) as they r really cheap right now ?
You think the price will go down already dropped from 130-114 worth taking a chance now and buy at this price or wait until a bigger drop ?
Surely this is a good idea right? all time lows, and i think there's no tax?? buy at 40-42 and sell at 50-60 eventually if that time ever comes again??
Good evening,
The following is a beginner-friendly guide for anyone wanting to make a bit of OSRS gold using potion decanting.
You can use the decanting tool here: https://runemargin.co.uk/decanting
Note: you can also use OSRS Wiki – just do a google search.
Theory
People often sell partly used potions on the Grand Exchange because they don’t want them sitting in the bank, or they want quick exp and have no use for the potions. A 1-dose, 2-dose or 3-dose potion is usually less convenient than a full 4-dose potion, so these can sometimes be bought cheaply.
On the other side, most players prefer buying 4-dose potions because it is easier and cleaner. Nobody wants to mess around buying random doses when they can just grab the full potion.
Put those two things together and there can be profit.
You buy the cheaper dose combinations, decant them into 4-dose potions at the Grand Exchange, then sell the finished 4-dose potions back.
Warning
This method requires membership, as potion decanting is done through Bob Barter at the Grand Exchange. There is nothing stooping F2P from decanting themselves – but you won’t find me doing it.
Step 1: Get some starting GP
You do not need a huge cash stack to start. Pretty much any gp value will get you started – but its nice to be able to buy a full stack of potions while you’re out questing. I recommend 200k min!
If you have more money, you can scale it up, but do not throw your whole bank at one potion straight away. Start small, test the margin, then increase once you understand how quickly the potion buys and sells.
Step 2: Find a potion
Use the decanting page:
https://runemargin.co.uk/decanting
The tool looks at the current prices for 1-dose, 2-dose and 3-dose potions, then compares the cost of turning those doses into a 4-dose potion.
The important columns is RM Score – a more realistic score that weighs profit against trade volume and buy limits.
Do not just pick the highest profit item. Sometimes a potion shows a huge margin but barely trades. The RS Score helps filter out those traps.
Step 3: Buy the doses
Once you have chosen a potion, buy the required 1-dose, 2-dose or 3-dose versions from the Grand Exchange.
Do not insta-buy unless you are only testing with a tiny amount. Put in competitive offers and let them buy naturally.
For example, if the tool shows that buying certain dose combinations can make a 4-dose potion cheaper than buying the 4-dose directly, that is your margin.
Make sure you pay attention to volume. If the volume is low, you may only be able to buy a small number before the market dries up.
Example flip - 1s and 2s will make more money. 3s will flip quicker
Step 4: Wait
Wait for the potions to buy.
Check your offers occasionally to make sure you are still competitive. If nothing is buying, your offer may be too low or the market may have moved.
For beginners, I would avoid leaving big buy offers in overnight. Potion prices can move, and a margin that looks good now might not look good later.
Note: I tend to use 2 slots to buy potions through a session.
Step 5: Decant the potions
Once your doses have bought, take them noted to Bob Barter at the Grand Exchange. He can decant your potions into 4-dose versions for free.
This is the key part of the method. You are not making the potions yourself; you are simply turning awkward dose amounts into the more useful 4-dose version.
Step 6: Sell the 4-dose potions
Put the finished 4-dose potions back on the Grand Exchange.
List them just below the current sell price. Do not undercut by thousands. If other people are doing the same method, massive undercuts just ruin the margin for everyone.
Usually, undercutting by 1 gp is enough.
Check occasionally to make sure you are still the cheapest seller. If someone undercuts you, update your offer slightly.
I usually put on overnight. Always nice to come back to a nice green bar in the GE.
Job done!
Final comments
Potion decanting is not always the flashiest money maker, but it is simple, beginner-friendly and can be a nice low-effort way to build your cash stack.

Hey there! First post here, this isn’t necessarily a proper flips but I’ve been slow grinding herb xp by cleaning and making Unfinished potions, I just hit 58 so now I can do Huasca and I thought this was going to be an absolute home run, but the margins seem terrible, even on unfinished potions. Was just wondering why this one (prayer regen pots) does so poorly compared to something like an unfinished Kwuarm (had crazy margins and made me millions from 54-58)
Good evening,
The following is a guide for beginners who want to make a bit of OSRS gold.
Firstly though, an apology. I recently posted and it was removed by a moderator. The subject of the response was… “stop selling your website”. And in all fairness, they were right, I was putting information out there with the hope that people would flock to the site and help me improve it.
That being said, the underlying goal of my site is to provide support to fellow flippers / money makers and lazy gits who just don’t feel like leaving the GE… just like me. So, with respect to to the community, this guide will not mention the website. If any one is intrigued and wants a link then free to message me.
Almost everything below is achievable via the RuneScape wiki – you just need to interpret the data yourselves.... On to it then.
Theory:
The theory is that people get armour drops when they are out killing things. They don’t need the item and head to the GE and sell it. They usually sell cheap because its “free moneys”.
On the other side, you have people who are lazy and will pay more to buy an armour set because who wants to buy 4 things when you can buy 1.
Put these two things together rand you have profit.
Step 1: Get a mill
This tutorial requires a minimum of 1 mill gp and membership. From looking at the history in this reddit – I see most “beginners” would have a mill and likely a member.
However – if your are F2P the current best option is rune plate skirt. Est profit per 4 hours = 150k (there are better options!!!)
Other options:
Step 2: Buy the items
For this tutorial we will be using Dagon’hai Robes Set. In the image below, you can see the buy prices.
Notes:
Step 3: Wait
Wait for the items to buy. Check occasionally and make sure you’re the highest bidder. This is important as the market can go stale. My wait time is usually about an hour. Then I get fed up and start to cash in.
For this tutorial – DO NOT buy overnight. Prices can change and you may find yourself out of pocket. But you can sell overnight – no issues there.
Step 4: Combine them
Right click on the exchange and combine the items into a set.
Step 5: Sell them
Hit the exchange and put all the sets on for just below the sell price.
In this case 1,119,557 gp – 1 less than the sell price.
Tip: do not undercut by 1000’s – others may be trying the same thing and undercutting helps no one. You should check from time to time that your price is the lowest – if not – update with 1 gp less. There is plenty of opportunity for all – we shouldn’t compete against one another.
If done correctly, you’ll be £198k (per set) richer. In this case, I’d probably go for about 5 sets and try make that mill!
If anyone wants more quick guides like this then let me know.
I put a buy offer in this morning once the update went live for 250M, and just waited to see if my buy offer would complete. Low & behold, it buys whilst I'm grinding out Whisperer. Threw it back in at 300M, and within 5 minutes, it sold.
Was able to sell the pl8 body for 190750k and the legs for 222m right before the crash. So much has happened in such a short window. Ralos holders are cooked, harm orb investors are absolutely printing today. Whats your next big move?
Already owned one (40m), sold it (55m) during peak uk time (early morning EST and bought back (43m) at the end of the day EST. Sold again (56m) this morning with the hopes of a repeat. Up 27m in 24hrs, best flip I've made so far.
ALSO —
It’s dropped down to 18m from 21m ish. Is there a reason why it’s diving? Will it go back up?
Still a bit iffy on selling the sanfew, but I'm glad I bailed out of haemostatic when I did.
These rings are already selling for super cheap at 2.5k each. The red topaz to make these is 2.7k lol. not to mention the silver bar and cosmic rune to enchant it. Only the sweats have finished the quest day one. Once a quest guide comes out and youtube guides, it will likely go up once the average player is able to get time to do the quest. It’s the best option for the final fight as it’s fairly difficult.
wiki info:
When worn, it improves the player's effectiveness against vampyric creatures by increasing the damage dealt to them by 10% and accuracy by 15% (stackable with the black mask/slayer helm).
I made this comment in another thread and felt worth posting. there's plenty of easy flips in f2p. Not for crazy gold but you can slowly build gold. Arrows/runes/logs were a staple for me when I was starting out, I started with 2m and got to 2 Bil in like 8 months starting this way. When you only have 2m, making 200-400k/day on small easy 50k flips is pretty easy!
EXAMPLE Flips for a Complete Beginner: At this very moment you could use your 3 GE slot to buy
Cosmic Runes for 108 and sell for 112 6 times a day, making 36k each flip which would be 218k a day on just one ge slot.
Addy arrows buying for 33gp selling for 35 gp 6x a day is 22k each flip, or 132k/day.
Nature runes/Gold bars/Law Runes/Mithril arrows can all be sold for similar 1-3gp per item margins, making you up to 100-200k/day for any of them.
Each order takes 30-60 seconds, so in total you'd be spending 10-15 mins total minutes flipping And just like that you're making 400k-500k/day using as little as 2-3m. You can buy one buy limit every 4 hours, so if you literally only have 2m gold, you can just do each of these three one at a time over the course of those 4 hours. This does require active flipping and frequent GE stops, but they only take a minute to place and you can easily play inbetween placing orders
After a month or so you can pretty easily purchase your own bond, get 8 ge slots, and then it's off the races having way better stuff to flip.
