Pet rats need rehomed ASAP.

Pet rats need rehomed ASAP.

My daughter's 2 "males" ended up having 13 babies 🤣 We have 7 (mama, 2 girls, 4 boys) who still need homes ASAP. They are NOT FEEDERS. The babies are about 5 weeks old. There are just too many rodents in my house and we need them to find forever homes ASAP. They've been socialized and are super sweet (mama is feisty).

What to do on a rain day?

I recently moved from Washington DC to Oak Ridge for work purposes and it’s been hard finding something to do on the weekends. This weekend is raining and hiking is out of the question. Any recommendations for something to do on a rainy day? Comedy shows, live music or anything in door activity?

Apartment Hunting from Out of State

Hello,

I will be moving to Oak Ridge in a few months for a year-long position. I'm apartment hunting and looking at reviews. Every place I look at has very mixed reviews, so I was hoping to come here for assistance. I'm looking for a studio or one-bedroom apartment for me and my ESA dog.

Right now, I'm considering The Flats at Jackson Square, The Oaks Apartments, and Royce Hill. If anyone has an opinion on those three or other suggestions, I would love to hear them! Thank you!

Job Search

Hi, all! I am from this area and I’m currently looking for a new job. I’m not picky! Just something that’s full time with weekends off as a preference, but not a requirement. I’ve been looking on Indeed for months, and so far, no luck. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Looking for natural field stone

I'm building a natural dry stack wall on my property and used all the natural stone I had lying around.

So I bought some pallets of stone from a local place (shout out to Cornerstone Landscaping Supplies in Harriman). But you need a lot of stone for dry stack, and it really adds up.

Looking for local construction sites, piles of unwanted stones, stuff on the side of the road if I have permission to take it, even just properties with flat stones I can come pick up. Doesn't have to be pretty or clean, just stackable.

Ideally looking for stones at least 12 inches in diameter for it to be worth it.

I'm willing to pay a little and I'll do all the work to get them home. But I can't pay too much because then there's no point! I could just get them from the landscaping place.
