M10 bolt viewing update (thought it was M12 originally) 6 months later
So following my last two posts here it is after sitting in my stomach since early December. I can't say it looks exactly the same comparing with the December clip, though this is a new camera as the last was failing.
I read 316 stainless steel rather than rusts (as with carbon steel where iron oxidates), stainless steel has a regenerating protective layer which stomach acid can still attack. It's usually made up of chromium, nickel and molybdenum. Now maybe it's just the camera difference and it's 100% still there or I am seeing an actual physical difference where the edges of the hexes particularly look less smooth and continuous, but of course 99.7% of the stainless steel is still there. I don't feel poisoned or changed in any way.
So yeah I made an attempt at retrieval after the last post by trying to force regurgitating it with gravitational assistance but I didn't seem to get it anywhere close to lining up. At least between the attempts I was able to get some clear shots of my stomach and the bolt slug up close while I was bloated with 1.2L of water. Good to see imy stomach looks to be perfectly healthy, though I'm yet to capture my pylorus. It's very hard to move this camera around as it's just a fully flexible endoscope camera. I have a semi rigid one but it's difficult to get it down my throat.
Anyway I hope you guys enjoy, no I'm not seeking to get help having it removed at this stage, I'm looking to swallow another two handfuls of M8 nuts next to see if they can help assist my pylorus finally push it through. I feel my pylorus when my stomach gets empty try and try again on this bolt slug. The idea extends from using marbles but I'd rather avoid the glass while there's metal that could break them inside.
