What was the point of cleaning the drop weights?
I mean, aren't they going to rust anyway when they release them and they stay for eternity on the ocean floor? Stockton couldn't afford to coat them in oil so they wouldn't flash rust? He no longer had the power sanders they used to grind down the high spots from the carbon fiber?
