I heard a lot of different things about Armada OS, some poeple said, it runs games better than gamenative etc.....some other said, it runs worse and currently, its not worth it. So i tried it for myself.

o Odin 2 Portal Base running Armada from SD card

o A1 speed micro sd card (i had no A2 at home)

o Games tested as shown on screen -> Alan Wake remaster, Axiom Verge, Castlevania lords of shadow, Curse of the dead gods, Deaths Door, Hitman absolution, Islets, Shadow tactics, Sleeping dogs, Tetris effects, Tinykin and Tomb Raider.

Every game is running with at least 30 FPS and i only had to change the proton version on Shadow tactics, all other games where running out of the box with no tinkering. Even Hitman Absolution, which i wasn't able to run with gamehub / gamenative.

I also wasn't recognize any troubles with the A1 sd card, i mean, A2 would be faster in loading times maybe but it was really not slow or anything. Normal loading times i would say.

Only troubles i had -> sometimes the controls "stuck" at steam menu etc... So i press left, its "holding" left by itself, i press down, its "holding" down itself......and overall sometimes it freezes a little bit. But all that only in steam menu, not in a game.

I am really impressed what the devs brought us here. This thing is now my Xbox360 era + indie game machine. I definitely also will try some "newer" games if they also will run. The success of running games is higher than on gamenative / gamehub for me.

Sorry about the poor quality video, I had to record using my phone in one hand. Kinda prefer this to ArmadaOS because of the access to clustertune and fan curves etc. Running at 720p ,steam deck preset, performance resolution scaling, light clustertune underclock and max 80% fan speed. I had to use the bannerlator proton (arm64) compatibility option to get it running. Way easier than gamenative etc, I was never able to get this to run at all with those.

Turnip 8Gen V37 driver. Default settings.

Use appropriate patches and use the settings from compatible page, if necessary.
Use settings downloaded from App.

I tested the game on the latest version of the App and using the V37 driver, it fixed a lot of graphical issues and the freezing. Still has a few graphical issues but it’s running a lot better now.

I’ve played through a few levels and no crashes or freezing.

Hey everyone, I’m having some issues with ARMSX2 on my Odin 2 Portal Pro, specifically with The Punisher.

Ever since the recent update, I’ve been experiencing major graphical glitches, as shown in the attached screenshot. I’ve tried everything suggested to fix the issue, including:

Switching the GPU renderer between Vulkan and OpenGL
Changing the blending accuracy settings
Switching the hardware download mode to Accurate
Trying different graphics settings
Unfortunately, nothing has worked so far, and the graphical glitches are still there.
I’m also experiencing another issue that started after the recent update. Every time I try to load a game, the emulator freezes, making it difficult to play anything.
Has anyone else experienced these issues since the latest update? Is there a way to fix the graphical glitches in The Punisher and the constant freezing when loading games?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
