I have a Odin 3 max and since a travel too much I already finished all the games I had, like look at this empty ahh handheld. I need the community to recommended me games. I’m looking for action games something that runs well on the Odin 3 and is fun I’ll read all of y’all the comments.

Hello this post is going to be the more cleaned up shorter version of my previous post. So i have a legion go with steamos and windows also a pc with 7800x3d and a 4060ti 16vram and 32ram. 1 am using my legion vere rarely at home about 3 times a month not because its uncomfrotable but because i have my pc. The only times i use my legion are on holidays away from home. I want to get an odin 3 max because i would brina it places and schoo where i have a lot of down time. I tried bringing my legion to school used it a bit and put it back because it felt wrong and btw my backpack looked like a balloon lol. I had an r36s and didnt use it much because it felt cheap and underpowered because i like games from gba(exception), psp, ps2 gamecube, switch era. The only thing stopping me is warrantv and mv dad because of the warrantv. How is ayn support and should i sell my legion or keep it and buy a cheap handheld like the r36s again?(For people saving not to sell it i need a better reason than odin 3 is less powerful)

If you have armada steamOS on your Ayn Odin 3 and you want to install LSFG-vk via Decky plugin, it might give this error: "Installation failed: [Errno 13] Permission denied." This happens because the decky plugin only works on x86-64. but you can use the LSFG-Android version that's made by FrankBarretta/LSFG-Android.

Claude gave me a guide on how to install it manually and got it to work.
I'm a total beginner with Linux; if you have questions, ask Claude or someone who knows Linux.

Just a heads up, my Odin 3 is a Batch 1 (preorder) device and suddenly the fan is making this grinding noise. Only started today and has never done it before..emailed Ayn and will update you when I get updated.

Seriously, even after seeing it next to other stuff, I still can't believe how small the Odin 3 is! This little gadget packs a punch and feels super well-made. So hyped!

Swapped for Xbox style buttons and lubed up the fan so it would stop making the grinding noise when tilted. Simple stuff, but I'm still pretty psyched with the outcome.

I am trying to play Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction on my Odin 2 with physical controls. I have already added the Splinter Cell Conviction Fusion Fix from here

I have also gone through many video guides. However, I am still not able to get the physical controls working correctly, like B is working as A, and the whole control scheme is bugged and there is no way to remap them. Please let me know if anyone was able to play this game with the correct control scheme.

As a person who has had the pleasure of setting up & playing both, I think my answer may surprise you. I know the Odin 3 has a better/newer chip, is more powerful & more portable, but I still slightly prefer the Odin 2 Portal! I think the 1” difference in screen size (O2P is slightly larger than 3) is the reason why I prefer it. I’m not big into pc gaming on Android (I have a Steam Deck, Gaming PC & Rog Ally for those) so I mainly just emulate on my Android handhelds. I’ve added over 10,000 games to both & the O2P can emulate pretty much everything the O3 can. For new buyers looking to get one or the other, I’d suggest the Odin 2 Portal over the Odin 3 if you’d like to save a few bucks & don’t really see yourself playing pc games natively. What say you? 😎✨🤷🏾‍♂️

Finally playing Skyrim on this device! It’s currently on sale on GOG, and this is my very first time playing it. The game looks absolutely awesome on the Odin 2 Portal’s OLED screen. Looking forward to finally experiencing what all the hype has been about!

Settings I did to run on Gamenative if in case anyone asks:

Wine Version: proton-10.0-arm64ec-2
Screen size: 1280x720
Graphics Driver: Turnip v26.2.0 R4

It won’t run full screen so open container and edit the ini file below:
Set bFullscreen in INI: Edit the Skyrim prefs/ini and set fullscreen flags (bFullscreen=1). "/my documents /my games / Skyrim prefs ... find fullscreen there will be bfullscreen=0 change it to fullscreen=1 and then bBorderless=0 to 1 then save

For audio settings, open the container and install both Wine Gecko and Wine Mono through the Start Menu > System Tools.
