TAKE👏🏻THOSE👏🏻PHOTOS

I went to the doctor in January and weighed in at 233. I'm 5'2 shorty so my BMI more than qualified for Zepbound. I asked for zepbound and insurance denied it 🙄Lost some weight through white knuckling and working out, but was doing so much work for so little.

Starting Tirz late February at 226. I didn't take any pictures in February because I assumed this medicine wouldnt work for me, nothing else had.

TAKE THE PICS! Take the measurements! Future you will thank you.

Left pic is me in March around 220. Right pic is today at 196! Still a looong ways to go but I am thrilled with my progress.

Remainder of the vial

I just took my fifth dose. First two weeks were 15 units, second 2 weeks were 30 units, this week was 60 units. 200 units in the vial. 15+15+30+30+60=150 units. For next week’s 60 units do I get what’s left out of the vial and the remainder from another vial, or get the entire dose from a new vial?

So disappointed in OlaHealth...

Things were going smoothly.... but like most companies service things went south. Submitted refill request August 5. Doctor got to it August 10. It's August 14, and my refill is STILL waiting fulfillment, and it's Friday. Luckily, I was able to get an extra dose out of the bottle last week.

I'm new to the neighborhood

Hello everyone, I'm coming over from Mochi. Excited to be apart of this community. So far, I'm impressed with the ease of joining, the prices and my initial interaction with the provider.

I'm wondering if an app is in the works? Or maybe there is an app and I overlooked it.

Thank you.

How long after requesting a refill before I hear from a doctor?

I am nearly finished with my previous 9 vials of Drug Crafters tirzepatide and filled out the form for a refill on August 10th and it just shows "Awaiting Script". My last order was approved and processed within a day.

B12 vs Glycine?

Hi all! I am getting ready to order my next shipment and I was wondering if anyone who's taken the B12 and glycine could give their experiences? I have been on the B12 for since I started a few months ago and its been great, I'm just curious if I may like the glycine as well/maybe more?

Getting ready to reorder.

I’m 60 days in, and if you look at my previous post, I was really scared to hope that this might work. Ozempic failed me completely, other than amazing blood work.
I’m down 30lbs, and I stayed at the same workout schedule and just lowered my calories 200 to 1660, per a Dexa scan.
That regimen without Tirzepatide? 3 months lost zero pounds.
I’ve got about 75 to go, and I have hope, finally. Whatever is broken is being fixed by the Tirzepatide.
I’m just getting ready to refill, the sale is a great bonus!
I’m looking forward to the higher concentration as two shots wasn’t something I looked forward to.
If you are on the fence, just do it.

As for the photo thing, I was just asked for a full body selfie, no weird scale photo, which seems reasonable to match my ID. This is a prescription medication, after all. My local compounding pharmacy needs my ID and looks to make sure it’s me when I pick up prescriptions too.

first dose is done!

Just took my first dose of tirzepatide + glycine! i’m very excited to start my journey. I am definitely anxious though, i keep double checking that i didn’t accidentally take too much lol I got the Ripple Plan and am relieved the starting dose is so small because my biggest fear is side effects. I have been on a health journey since January and it hasn’t been easy for me; i have lost 15lbs on my own but the food noise, cravings, portion sizes.. its all been really hard for me and I haven’t lost in months. I am hoping this is the push my body needs!

12 weeks in - My review so far…

I started with Ola about 12 weeks ago. I ordered the ripple plan (tirzepatide vials with glycine) through drug crafters. This was my first time taking a GLP-1 and I experienced most of the “is this right for me”, “will it work“ and “is this worth it” concerns that I am sure most newbies have.

Side effects

My side effects have been manageable with my biggest one being fatigue roughly 2 days after my dose. I also have to make sure I’m getting plenty of water to keep other side effects at bay. I added a daily dose of electrolytes about 3 weeks ago and that has also helped my overall well being.

Effectiveness

The medication has significantly reduced my food noise and hunger. My sweet tooth has also been reduced. It is still there but it’s much less and easier to ignore or satisfy. I do notice a bit of a reduction in effectiveness as the week goes on. I dose on Saturday and by Friday I can feel it waning.

Results

I am down about 21 pounds so far and happy with the results. I did have a little plateau in the middle so don’t be concerned if that happens to you.

Next steps

I recently ordered the wave plan and decided to stick with tirzepatide vials with glycine through drug crafters. This is the new dosage level where I get a 2 ml vial with 30mg per ml each month. First package arrived without a problem. Hopefully the new dosage is as effective as the old. I’m titrating up and this new concentration will allow me get my upcoming 11mg dose in a single syringe.

Suggestions

Make sure you get enough water. Consider adding an electrolyte. Make sure you’re getting enough protein.

Overall

All in all, I’m quite happy with the results. The reduction in food noise is crazy. I didn’t realize how much of my day was spent thinking about my next snack or meal. Here’s hoping for continued success.

Edit

In case you are curious, here is my original review post from 3 months ago

Considering moving from Mochi

I’ve been with Mochi for about 2 months, just now moving up from my starter dose to the next dosage (4.25 mg). I want to do month to month with Ola because I feel like I’m moving slower than what the “Wave” plan requires. I’ll be moving next month as I just received my new vial on Friday.

  1. Which level do I select when I start with Ola because the levels seem different from what I’m currently doing?

  2. When should I sign up so I shouldn’t miss a dose?

  3. Anyone that’s moved on from Mochi, how do I upload my prescription? Is the label from my current vial sufficient?

  4. I under stand Ola doesn’t do automatic refills, so by being month to month when I should I request a refill?

  5. Am I missing anything else?!?

Thanks for any information!

Has this happened to anyone else?

I genuinely do not understand how I am supposed to take the photos that are being requested of me… I understand and am happy to take a few photos full length for verification but how am I supposed to take a photo of myself on the scale while also showing my face??
