Do betas present? I know alphas and omegas present when they're of age but it doesn't really make sense to me that betas don’t. Do people just assume late bloomers are usually betas until they show?

I’m looking to write about an Alpha/Omega in their late 50s, early 60s. In my mind the Alpha hunger remains relatively the same, but I do wonder if heats would be different depending on age, or if they occur at all. A part of me almost wants to make the older omega act as if they can still go into heat, for the Alpha’s fantasy, but another part of me does love the idea of an older Omega getting pregnant. Would love to know if anyone’s seen any older dynamics and how they panned out!

I’ve been working on a couple of stories lately with nontraditional couples like: Male Alpha/Male Alpha and Male Alpha/Male Beta.

Does/did anyone else here try to figure out how to write open-door scenes with these couples, how to deal with the rut and knots? If yes, wanna share? :)

1. Are Alphas in your world even capable to form a knot with another designation or only omegas (in mine, they can. It’s more attraction and the feeling of ‘this is my person’ and the body wanting to have a child although logically in male A/A and male A/B pairing it’s impossible).

2. Do you write male Alphas/male Betas receiving the knot as ‘fine’ or is there some sort of preparation necessary? (In mine all designations aside of male/female alphas are quite unequipped to receive a knot; therefore a preparation and care IS necessary for the partner not to be injured).

3. Can your alphas withhold the knot (aka not go all the way)? In mine: yes - have some crazy disciplined little masochistic alphas sometimes haha.

Anyhow; whoever wants to dive into this discussion with their own worldbuilding/ideas/question is welcome :))

i'm writing a fic where there's a virus that makes alphas go feral. my question is how should i go about how the alphas communicate verbally.

So my partner ) and I (F) are really into the omegaverse dynamic and especially the biology, and I'm trying to give him good fics to better introduce him to the concept.

Problem is, I'm having a hard time finding any good, pure smut m!alpha f!omega fanfics. Just one shots, if possible. The usual works, heat, knotting, all that.

Does anyone have any smut/lemon m!alpha f!omega reqs that are at least somewhat well written? Desperate here

I was wondering, what would the medical consequences be of surgically removing scent glands? Would it only cause the lack of scent (and the consequences thereof) and inability to mate, or would it also come with emotional/hormonal shifts or heat/rut problems etc?

I'm currently thinking of writing a fic but can't decide on which scents to choose for my pairing. The alpha is a sweet and gentle person so I don't want him to have a spicy scent, was thinking that maybe I'd go with coffee and cocoa/chocolate (alternating depending on his emotions) for the omega. Is it too basic? Any good recs for scents that go well together?

hi!! I am now writing a omegaverse + cyberpunk fanfiction where the omegas are extinct. OF COURSE the mc is an omega and by the moment, the last one in the whole world, but I need some help!!!

what do you guys think would cause the extinction of omegas, especially in a cyberpunk au setting? any ideas? pls help!!!

** edit!! I also want to introduce android/synthetic omegas into this story. Maybe something like ultra-technological sex dolls to satisfy alphas (just robots!! only dolls!!! not AI with feelings), and the mc will pretend to be one of these dolls to survive.... just thought now telling you guys this would help too idk 😞 I'm sorry this is my first time here 😞😞

Look. I love omegaverse. A lot. And among other things, I also like it because when something unrealistic happens, I just go "well, duh, it's omegaverse!"

But when i read the alpha released over two pints of come in one go, I stared at my ceiling for like five min straight.

And then I googled how much a pint was because I was like "well, surely I'm mistaken". And I was. Because I thought it was 0.33l... But it's actually 473.1765 ml in the US, and 568.2613 ml in GB...

The poor guy already came twice! I really hope he gets to drink something soon or he'll die of dehydration.

Just want to make it clear I'm not complaining, the fic is very creative and nice! I'm reading it for the plot anyway, so I'm definitely gonna read the rest of it (and leave kudos, duh) 🩷🩷
